People that have a good grasp on the technical side knows that making backwards compatability work on new hardware with a totally different architecture is extremely hard to do. With some exception the only way to really do it is. 1 include the previous console chip. (extra cost) 2 Emulation ( req significantly more powerful system) Doubtful if switch 2 will be powerful enough. There is a really high chance that its just not possible playing switch games on switch 2.

The Wii U shows that they'd could do two versions. Maybe LCD & Oled versions.. no other changes, for two different prices.
The Wii U configuration wasn't anything with screens, just more memory and it came with a game so I don't really see it happening
