Nah mate, airblasts can be countered by practically any class. If you're a real pro you know that 3 hp left is not an excuse to stop running straight at anyone and pressing m1.
Tip for new spy's: When you see a pyro that is airblasting and uber happening, then back stab the enemy pyro, trust me this can save the entire team. No the entire game.
Too bad i love doing 360's while holding m1 randomly for no reason and ended up killing a cloaked Spy that i didn't know that was there, bad habit but it saved my medic a few time lmao
@@YurieSnowie the two console commands I use for spychecking: cl_yawspeed 900 +right (bound to a key) I ended up killing 3 spies on opposite sides of me with a random crit this way once and no future spychecking will match the high of glory that was

Lol I was playing pyro once on badwater and my friend who was playing engie was building at last. I told him to move up but he didn't listen. There was an enemy pyro across from him and he was trying to kill him with the Pomson because he was outside of his sentry's range. I ran over to help, but he did nothing. I figured he was friendly and told my friend this, but he still didn't listen. The pyro went into his sentry's range and back out again and he airblasted it's rockets back at him and killed him. It was the funniest thing I have ever seen in tf2.
Pyro is the best class to play if you want to get people viscerally angry while also actually contributing to your team so they don't kick you after a couple of minutes

I think my favorite thing about this video is how you constantly mix around the pronouns. That's a pretty creative way to not refer to the pyro as "it"

Valves original intention was for pyro to be male. You can tell from the concept art and his face underneath his mask model. However due to fan speculation, they decided to leave it ambiguous.

Cool tipps! I supported recently 3 heavies with engineer and dispenser. Never out of ammo and health we were so strong. You did not mention: You can set arrows of the sniper on fire.
Pyro Fail: Ammo mismanagement, getting caught with a dry flame-thrower. Know where ammo is on the map and rotate around (kinda like spy) stay topped up. Added bonus, if you can snag ammo from the back lines, it means enemy spy can't use it while preparing an attack.
Pyro has always been my fav, ever since i started playing tf2! Problem just is: i really suck. I will utilize this so i hopefully better at playing pyro.
Spychecking - The Pyro's greatest skill, and the Spy's worst nightmare. When I am playing on a server as a Spy, those Pyros that just shoot flame everywhere keep my heart racing every second. And if I've been backstabbed on more than one occasion, I'm instantly switching to Pyro so I can get my revenge. At one point, I've actually dominated this one spy so many times that he switched to Heavy just to get me back. A literal revenge quest. Then once they got me, they went back to spy.
Mistake #10: Arguing Over Balance _Update: As of the Blue Moon Update, (Thank God!) Pyro has become a lot more balanced on both ends of the spectrum._ The Pyro is not balanced. He is broken. He is both overpowered and underpowered. Short and simple. Do NOT argue about this in the comments. You will be attacked, and it will descend into a flame war.
Hello, there. Until recently, I hadn't played TF2 since 2014 because my computer couldn't handle it. I've been trying to get back into the game and improve over the past few weeks (hence I am watching this video). Here's a story dated 2013-2014, if anyone's interested. Once I joined a match mid-fight, saw we had 3 Engineers and quickly went full Pybro. There was one Engie on the last point who I left to his own devices since we were still defending the first. One had built outside BLU spawn and his buildings were already destroyed. The third had actually built in sight of the point and I stayed with him the whole match. I wasn't too good at reflecting projectiles or juggling Ubers back then, but I tried my best. The Spies were coordinated enough to try to lure me away from the sentry nest by standing in plain sight, practically begging to be set on fire. I almost certainly didn't get a high score that day and I can't even remember if we won. I did get some hats, though :). The Engineer I had helped asked me to trade with him and gave me some hats for my main class (coincidentally, Pyro) for nothing in return. I still wear those hats on my Pybro loadout to this day. Ever since then, I've played Pyro as more of a support class even though the game has them listed as attack. I stick by Medics and check for spies. I extinguish teammates and do my best to reflect projectiles (I'm still working on the timing... and the aiming). I die in a somewhat vain attempt to juggle their Medic + Heavy combo and do a bit better when the Medic has Ubered a Soldier instead. It doesn't get me a ton of points, but it does help the team. Sure, sometimes I flank enemies and set fires, but remembering that Engineer inspires me to stick by my team. :)
Im actually learning alot from this, im still deciding which will be my main, i´ve already thought of spy or sniper but pyro is starting to get me interested principally cause yesterday i got manmelter
@@B0LTz eh. Overall, no sir. One to one maybe. A Heavy is a monster with a decent medic but without the medic he is really nothing. Pyro is just way better in most situations.

In 1v1, Pyro vs Heavy, Heavy gonna win because he do a stupid damage in close range and he have more HP, Pyro is a Character that works more closely and Heavy not, Heavy can be long range Class and Heavy at least is not a Class much hated by Players, they call Pyro as a Noob Class, Gay and Cancer.

One thing that the jungleinferno update has taught me is that once a complete team goes pyro then there's nothing in tf2 that can stop them from winning.

One thing that the jungleinferno update has taught me is that once a complete team goes pyro then there's nothing in tf2 that can stop them from winning.

I never seen a good team playing pyro all i do see is phlog pockets.
