Mistake Number 2 is why I like using the Bazaar Bargain as getting more than two headshot kills will make it a direct upgrade to the Stock Sniper Rifle since every headshot kill you get increases the charge rate by 25% without any real downside except against high health and overhealed classes but even then, when you start with 0 heads (50% slower charge rate) you can still do 150 damage headshots making you able to kill an overhealed Heavy in a second if you have 6 heads (200% faster charge rate).
but it is still unreliable, because if there is two medics on a team both will be overheald and you can't kill them unless you wait to charge which limit your movement and visibility, of course after getting 3 headshot it is a direct upgrade, but if you pick 2 or 3 classes and then die every time it is better to use the stock, the bazaar is a direct upgrade if you can't die, but the stock Is still more reliable and the 3.3 Sec to fully charged is not bad at all because not all your enemies are overhead heavies, and this is just my opinion
number 5 is really a thing. You can find snipers much easier when they have unusual hats. I've killed sniper just because of their unusual effect attracted(?) me.
The funniest case is when the domination or duel sign is hovering above the enemy head. One time in Mossrock there was a Pyro who was dominating me and he hid behind the bridge with the first CP (the RED side of the bridge, closer to the 2nd BLU spawn). I basically out-ambushed him with two rockets one of which he definitely didn't see coming.
Your red-dot is not your enemy (Well in some cases). It can tell the enemy you got the place covered so they might delay their push or push from somewhere else. There is lot more into this but i'm just gonna leave this here
The whole reason I generally don't play Sniper is because it's a class that's so readily glutted. Same with the Spy. Pretty much every team I land on, half the team has gone Sniper and Spy. Heck, I remember one time when I landed on a losing team on Upward Defense. It was the last point. And the _entire freaking team had gone Sniper!_ Not kidding!
I feel you one time I was playing on to fort the enemy team was one capture away from winning we had none and the rest of the entire team decided to go spy.
Honestly the body shots that people complain about is just flat out stupid. Though that could be me always using the Machina, love that weapon regardless. But hey, if you're almost dead and you need to be finished off, then body shot it is. Or if you're moving too much for a difficult head shot, body shot is better. As long as your enemy is dead, that's all that matters, not landing a 100% head shot rate. :v
This is the exact reason my Sniper Rifle has the description: "Headshots are overrated". And no, I'm actually trying to go for the head, it's just my headshot kill rate is somewhere around 50-60% now because I don't have even 50 hours on Sniper and I was never good with sniper rifles in FPS games to begin with. I play him only for the change of pace and only when there are 0-1 Snipers in a team.
Then, make bodyshots more punishable - dealing 50 dmg or more for just clicking on an enemy is really filthy, while their weapon range doesn't allow to even reach you.
"Make sure you're overhealed as sniper" *scout who is literally always in the midst of battle and getting shot really much* "don't think that you're the priority" ....
"Always try to be the second one to fire" I think that is it a good point. But it's bad to always second scope. Because that are easy to counter. Just fake scope. You should mix second scoping with shots that the enemy sniper isn't prepared of.

8:15 That's true for the open range but you can be the first shot if you have a cover. Come out of the cover, fire your shot and disappear immediately. The chances for a successful counter shot by the enemy sniper are low. Also you have the moment of surprise on your side.
Hey I'm a sniper main and here are some advices: 1 Always be aware of your surroundings . Get used to hiding from opponent A while taking out opponent B *without even looking at opponent A*. Get used to maps to take advantage of anything that could hide you. 2 Don't be scared of fighting multiple foes. You will improve and land quick scopes more often, even at close range. The key is to make sure you're relatively safe while you quickscope, as you will be vulnerable during that time. 3 Trick scouts and spies into believing that you intend to hit them with your melee weapon then back off and shoot. Conversely, pretend to run away then use your melee weapon as they approach. Oh and nice video by the way, didn't expect that flying smg sniper lmao

@@Delta225 i can kill them most of the time with the first shot but then i get distracted by other snipers/any other class and they kill me if i dont react fst enough
Why are you teaching them second scoping? Bodyshooting is fine and dandy but second scoping? If you can’t hit the enemy sniper with the first shot you shouldn’t play sniper
asmoore82 If you kill them with your first shot and they lose because they wait for you to scope they will always just straight up lose to a better sniper. And I’m talking out of experience steamcommunity.com/id/kreosisalone/
Not everyone who plays a class is a god at that class, let alone every player who chooses to play sniper should be a plat sniper. Yes you are correct that some people are so god awful they would be better off with any other class in the game, but for the most part, not everyone has that level of skill. Also, people build up to that level, so I wouldn’t judge them immediately saying they’re bad just because they’re new or trying out a new class.
Linking your profile and backpack doesn't prove anything. I have met a great sniper with 270k kills and around 250kish headshots and I have also met several decent snipers. I have 2 plat sniper friends and they all agree that second scope advantage is very strong in a sniper v sniper fight. First shot advantage is still a thing, but to headshot a sniper moving erratically requires amazing flick and tracking aim and is too much effort and too high of a chance to miss. There's a technique to counter out second scopers but I'm not gonna mention trade secrets here. The "you're not a good sniper if you second scope/cant kill on your first shot" is bullshit btw. All the best snipers use every single technique to their advantage. Quick corner peeking, second scoping, positioning and first shotting in the right situations. Linking your profile and trader inventory doesn't mean jack.
Mistake #7 can be considered my common "don't do it" mistake and my worst nightmare of sorts as well, but yet, I stay true to my tradition of wearing the loadout for the Bloody Busters. Mistake #8 is my common mistake when I can't find a high or an effective Sniper position, through, I make it a little bit relaxing thanks to the Tribalman's Shiv. With the ordinary Kukri, this mistake won't have even have a relaxing bit for me and these, who use the same loadout. I always stay true to my "Blood or Bust" tradition.
tl;dr: On mistake number 3, sometimes letting your opponent see the firing dot forces them away from certain approaches. I have a comment on Mistake #3: Though it's true, usually you don't want your opponent to see your line of fire 'dot', it can also have the effect of forcing the opponent away in choke-points. I know that in most maps, there are multiple ways to go from one area of the map to another, but letting the opponent see the 'dot' is a way to make them try a different path of attack (and as a result, you open up the path for your team). The scenario that comes to mind, in regards to my argument, is on pl_badwater, between points B and C. If you're on blu, you have the roof to watch over up to the bridge. You also have the bridge to focus the sight-line to point C. And the reverse is true if you're on red (you can use the bridge's narrow path to focus shots, or point C to view all the way to the bridge). If you let your opponent see your 'dot', you scare them away from certain approaches (and you can notify your team that the opposing players may go through another way). I'm treating it in a similar way to the opposing team getting caught by a hidden sentry; the opposing team will either plan an attack to go through, or find an alternate route. Thanks for the quality video! And keep snipin'!
I'm still getting used to the game and pc gaming in general since I've had this laptop for less than a month, but I thought I would share a little tip that I've found helpful for playing sniper but can be applied to other classes. If you stick to one location long enough, everyone will expect you to be there. When this happens you should relocate but, keep your last location in your line of sight, so anyone trying to sneak towards your last known location will be caught off guard
if youre in a sniper 1v1 situation, you can often shoot and immediatly crouch to counter a headshot by the enemy (at least most of the time) and by the time they shoot youll be ready to shoot again giving you the upper hand. Very good tips in this that will surely help people getting into Sniper but once you know all the things to know you should probrably not do everything the exact same way every game.
and even bodyshots can make the ennemy panic like "holy jeez i am at 25 hp better get some healing" except if they are close to a medic but sometimes bodyshots can slow down the ennemies more than killing them if the medkit or medic is far away
1 advice i can give to people about playing demoman is try to be one step ahead of your enemies with your stickies. imagine this: you are on king of the hill nucleus.you are heading towards an open door and you have no idea if someone is behind the door or not. if someone is behind the door just run backwards so they can follow you so you can kill them with your stickie trap. try throw a few stickies a little before you pass through the door,it is better be safe than sorry.
@@g2ltt733 Not if sniper has aimbot like aim and they instantly headshot the spy or atleast bash an SMG on the spy to scare him away, the first mistake in this video you see is a statue sniper, of course snipers who are literally a statue gonna die, that's highly unlikely for snipers who are efficent.
Something I've found to be my own problem and I'm working to better myself against it. Do not rely on moving around to line up your shots such as an ADAD scout or spy going for a back stab would, aim as sniper is all in the mouse, but as Delfy said, do keep moving to save your noggin.
I play a lot of sniper in TF2 and would like to think I'm pretty good. I think you're right in that you don't want to be the first shot. With that being said a thing I like to do in these situations is you can zoom in and then quickly zoom out baiting the enemy snipers shot to get an easy headshot on them (Second Scoping). It works really well in most cases since most snipers don't expect it.
I still remember going into a Suijin battle where we had like 5 snipers. Even though we were losing, they never changed. That was probably the most I ever got mad at somebody in TF2.
I make that first shot mistake ALL the time in sniper duels on round start.... except I almost always land the shot. 99% of the time, I get their sniper first
tips:on a sniper duel, always try to take the second shot >duel starts >sniper1 is waiting for sniper2 firing >sniper2 is waiting for sniper1 firing >both keeps walking around the map >endless
I’m often wearing unusual as sniper on purpose to make the enemy focus on me, not on the team, and when they think that they have the advantage because they spotted me, I’m surprising them with that close range hs, and the team is capping the point or cart in the meantime. :D Great vid tho
Thank you, Delfy you thought me alot of things today.I have turned into an better sniper I got x5 more headshot kills than normal.I dont go mlg mode as sniper anymore. I started being careful of my surroundings.I always kill enemy snipers they never win against me. Thank you for making this video.I have masterd my aim just needed these peo tips that helped alot.I will watch more videos like these I am sure they will help me :D. Thank you, so much!
5. I would add in that wearing a gibus can sometimes fool an enemy sniper's sense when headshotting, giving you a little advantage. Cover your face with darker shaded cosmetics and wear a gibus and the enemy will have a little harder time to shoot you.
For target priority , i think we can put the Heavy just after the Medic , because Heavy HATE YOU , you can one shot him , he's slow , and can do nothing to stop you. He can also be a big problem for your team if he still alive. And , a little trick , if you have the Darwin's Danger Shield , you can mele fight a W+M1 pyro without problems with the base melee weapon. An other one , if you play with the Tribalman's Shiv , and you fall in a close range fight , just give one shot with the Tribalman's Shiv and use your sniper to do no-scope , it's better if you have aim. If you are on 2fort , you can be a GOD , and with 5 other sniper , you can win by anti-game and rage quit ; against spy take a razorback , against pyro an army of bodyshot and perhaps a head-shot. With 4 sniper at the same place you can instakill everything that existe , with 3 everything except overhealed heavy

Finally we have a tf2 RUclipsr that keeps making videos
Why are you teaching them second scoping? Bodyshooting is fine and dandy but second scoping? If you can’t hit the enemy sniper with the first shot you shouldn’t play sniper
Krish Then they’re all bad snipers... If you can hit them with the first shot you don’t need to second scope. No plat sniper second scopes
Kreos That's because they are playing against plat snipers. Any sniper dumb enough to first scope in plain sight deserves to get second scoped.
asmoore82 If you kill them with your first shot and they lose because they wait for you to scope they will always just straight up lose to a better sniper.
I’m not gonna lie , I’m glad you’re still kicking it delfy!!!
12th Mistake. Don't bend down when you shooting the other Classes, you could end up missing the shot, just do it when you are facing a Enemy Sniper :p
A new Gibus Sniper has learned how to snipe.
I've been looking for something like this
Thanks Delfy!
"Shoot here effect" HAHA nice word for unusual effect .
Big Bill Sniper’s Hell’s Car Dealership
-does not deal cars
-same threats as before
-challenge pissing is still here
3:07 That’s a nice Big Bill’s Hell Cars reference
tl;dr: On mistake number 3, sometimes letting your opponent see the firing dot forces them away from certain approaches.
Sniper:We need one more Sniper,
Chorus of Snipers: And were sure to win!
You makin this so hard, im acutally gettin better.
“Waiting for your target like waiting for Half Life 3” well, i guess i wont have to wait long now huh?
well, technically it isn't half life 3
Well i dont count Half Life 2 chapter 2 as Half Life 3
if youre in a sniper 1v1 situation, you can often shoot and immediatly crouch to counter a headshot by the enemy (at least most of the time) and by the time they shoot youll be ready to shoot again giving you the upper hand. Very good tips in this that will surely help people getting into Sniper but once you know all the things to know you should probrably not do everything the exact same way every game.
and even bodyshots can make the ennemy panic like
"holy jeez i am at 25 hp better get some healing" except if they are close to a medic but sometimes bodyshots can slow down the ennemies more than killing them if the medkit or medic is far away
Thinking no one made the “Picking Sniper” Joke
1 advice i can give to people about playing demoman is try to be one step ahead of your enemies with your stickies.
imagine this:
you are on king of the hill nucleus.you are heading towards an open door and you have no idea if someone is behind the door or not.
if someone is behind the door just run backwards so they can follow you so you can kill them with your stickie trap.
try throw a few stickies a little before you pass through the door,it is better be safe than sorry.
Thanks delfy I learn my lesson as a sniper main. Keep it up I love the series
"Always be second-shot"
Me and my friend: moving around for the whole round
You know what this video needs? 5 more mistakes.
Me: Select razorback
The enemy: Don't play spies
Me: Select Jarate
The enemy: Play spies
Who care, razorback is useless since 99% of sniper don’t realize spy have a freakin gun.
Finally, suka, new "Top 10 mistakes you shouldn't make" video!
Mistake 1: playing sniper
Finally a new video for tips and tricks :)
"Don't use the razorback if there are no spies on the enemy team." Don't laugh, it can happen in causal.
I make that first shot mistake ALL the time in sniper duels on round start.... except I almost always land the shot. 99% of the time, I get their sniper first
tips:on a sniper duel, always try to take the second shot
>duel starts
>sniper1 is waiting for sniper2 firing
>sniper2 is waiting for sniper1 firing
>both keeps walking around the map
>endless
As for #2, a 3rd scenario where charging is necessary is sentries
Finally mistakes sniper omg! I love you! :D
A new film from my lovely youtuber! Ahhhh!
Nice job!
You know what this team could use?... five more snipers
Next round I will find 2 snipers staring at each other, because neither of them wants to take the first shoot 😂
