If there was a way to aim more naturally the way we've evolved, with both eyes open, staring at the target instead of tiny points in front of our face, why wouldn't we want to?
If there was a way to help people with different visual circumstances, like wearing prescription glasses, and new shooters suddenly shoot more accurate easily, and be better and safer shooters, why wouldn't we want that?
If your trainer isn't proficient teaching red dot and doesn't have this adaptive tool in their inventory to help folks of all different visual abilities, then they aren't keeping up with the future.
