I've looked all over the web for some test comparison charts for AIO units, and had very little luck until I found your video with those shown towards the end here! Thanks so much for this! Subscribed.
Thank you so much for this review! It helped me out a lot especially with the type of rgb connector
Such a great review and installation instruction. I really love the videos that provide information without bunch of stupid edit effects that waste the viewers time. Thank you for this video!
Watched so many "Guides" on how to install cables for the RGB, this is first clean one. Thanks.
You're welcome!
Another great video and really in-depth. Love these!!
One question:do u have to take the motherboard out of the case to do this
@@ilker6467 I think so.....but u probs figured it out since this reply is like, 3 months old
@@cant_think_of_a_username7795 lmao
The Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240 is a beast! I like the fact that the tubes are positioned at the center which makes radiator configuration/installation way easier.
Is it still running well and would you say The arctic is something that is made well and will last a while? I know leaks are always a chance but is this one dope and how loud?
the problem with Arctic Liquid Freezer are too tick (1cm ticker ) than others,so it will not fit lots fs cases
Out of all the videos I’ve seen about this product. Yours is the only one that explained the wire connections incredibly well! Subscribed
Mann fr , this guy really explained the wiring specifically and shows from a good view
This is the only reviewer I've seen that didn't explain how the RGB wiring into the splitter has arrows to make sure it's not plugged in incorrectly. Sure the rest of his video was good but that's a pretty big oversight I'd say.
exactly what i was thinking
great video im debating buying one of these and needed a good set up video to see if this is gonna work for me. thanks dude.
Amazing attention to details, great job!
A very good and detailed video. I am about to install this unit in my PC and you made it very easy to understand. Next time it would be nice if you also showed how to install it to the case.
Nicely done and so easy to follow. Thanks. These graphs are going to save me from panic when I get it all intalled.
You're welcome!
Loved the video. i think you have missed no detail about this product. subscribed.
planning to get this cooler and this video helped greatly. very informative. thank you and keep up the good work!
One question:do u have to take the motherboard out of the case to do this
@@ilker6467 No i just installed it with the motherboard already in, might not be as easy and it required 2 people to do it in my case,.
how much would you spend on your next AIO - is the ML240L V2 on your shortlist?
I prefer open loop cooling. But if I was going to buy an AIO for a friend's system, I'd probably get a SilverStone PF360-ARGB Permafrost 360mm for $129 usd. I wouldn't get a Cooler Master AIO. I had one before I got into open loops and the pump was very noisy and it didn't cool all that well. It's nice that Cooler Master has clips to hold the RGB connectors together. I've always used a small piece of electrical tape.
I'm a sucker for those infinity mirrors, so I went NZXT. I noticed they aren't on your charts? You guys haven't tested the NZXT AIO's?
$0
@@BenK12345 I wish they would figure out how to incorporate those mirrors in the fans, though I'm not sure how applicable it would be.
@@pat6211 It would be quite hard. Since the blades are constantly spinning, the effect would be effortlessly broken just because the fan is doing it's job
Finally thank you so much!
I like John Doyle too
Saw this on Amazon might pick one up. Nice video on the product!
Thank you so much 🤗
I just ordered one of these, thanks for the good explanation of all the connections, never used anything with RGB connections before. For me I think it's a good deal, only $70 and I'm not planning on doing an overclock. I just wanted something that had some nice lighting and did better cooling than lower end air coolers which is what I have right now.
Hows it held up?
@@fuckingawesome99 ive had one for a while, still running around 75 degrees after a whole day really of playing nonstop
@@matthewjake09 i have that same temp with my stock cooler ?!

i WATCHED 323232 VIDOES HOW TO CONNET ALL THIS STUFF PUT TOGETHER AND THIS IS THE ONLY PROPER VIDEO THAT EXPLAINS CLEARLY EVERYTHING ! WELL DONE U HAVE NEW SUB AND TY ALOOT !!! FINALLY I CAN BUILD THING MY SELF
this is very helpful, especially since I'm still running an old setup and don't know how to set this on a non-RGB mobo
Great video thank you !
Thx, this helped amazingly
Very nice I might pick this up for my haf xb evo build. :)
One question:do u have to take the motherboard out of the case to do this
Suprised pikachu face no
I have V1 and V1.5 of these AIOs and they both work great on overclocked apu\cpus. Glad to see I am not missing anything. And paying anything more starts to make far less sense.
What do you think about the Quality of CoolerMaster AIOs over Corsair AIOs, are they reliable, Im more concerned about the Leaking Issue??
Im confused between this AIO and Corsair h100i Platinum which is bit more expensive than this!
@@mojo9362 I have had no issues. As many that are on the market, concerns over quality should be a non concern. Sure, it happens, but it is a very low chance.
Have you ever had problem with those? I'm having panic about leaks..
@@tonkatoytruck how long have you had it if you dont mind me asking?
@@paulmccarthy4277 I have two. The first one I bought in Dec of 2018, and a second in Dec. of 2019, One gets used every day since built. The other is a back up machine. Both going strong with great cooling and no leaks.
Im getting this for my first non-optiplex build. Wish me good luck!
Thanks, you help me because light was not working before.
14:14 What's a temperature delta? I know its the difference of temperature but from what?
Is it the difference from Idle CPU state? From the PC being turned off? From ambient temperature? What do those numbers mean at load (orange) and idle (red) ??
Great vid
I have two of the older versions. The rgb is a pain but works ok. The cooler works well enough if you get them on sale. I got my 240 units for less than 50 bucks so I can not complain. I would not use these on a hot processor. Great video TY
This thing is doing an excellent job on my 3600. Not a hot CPU, but im 17* lower than stock cooling. Most AIO's are too expensive VS air cooling.
clearly and discribe very detail tks
Great video. Just when measuring the thermal paste, I thought it had flooded the CPU.
Very well planned video, thanks for the info. Subscribed.
I just installed one on my 3700X, replacing a ML120L (Came with a prebuild). Still experimenting.
I've been running all the fans on "silent" and getting about what I was on "performance" with the 120. It ramps up but not as much. Hits 70c still. I have it front mounted with push/pull fans (4) in a mesh front case (Neo Air). 8 case fans in total plus 3 on the 3080. I'm going to try setting my fan curve to max earlier, see what happens.
Also didn't notice the RGB Sickleflows included don't match the six *ARGB Sickleflows I already had. Limited in effect and the colors only match in the primary colors. The "white" still has a blue tinge to it. Not what I was going for. Two more argb somewhere in my future. I'm trying to be "done".
Would have been great if you had tested it with some standard fans (e.g. Nuctua NF-A12X25) to see the potential of the AIO cooler and for a better more standardized comparison with other cooling systems.
Considering that the ML240V2 has a thinner rad than most AIO's, the results are pretty good, to be honest. The Arctic Liquid Freezer II is a chart topper because its rad is 38mm thick. NZXT's Kraken AIO's have a thickness of 30mm. Cooler Master's only has 27mm thickness.
And since I'm drooling over their latest NR200 ITX case, I'm leaning more towards the ML240V2 than Arctic Liquid Freezer.
How important is rad thickness?
@@YamadaDesigns better for clearance of gpu etc
@@ItsTealv Lol what a terrible advice. Thats only with regards to the Nr200 case and it's not the norm.
@@Ardonn ye that's why i'm saying of course there isn't much importance but on some cases it can matter my bad for not being clear enough though
It's extremely cheap too. It's very good value, as you pay entrance AIO money for a mid-tier cooler.
Thank you
My pc is gonna be lookin good🥺
TY
Which one will you suggest for i7 10700k ... CoolerMaster ML240L V2 or Corsair H100i Platinum?
I like how it looks minimalis the rgb nice and not to much
question please, at 9:18 when securing the lga1700 mount to the mobo, it almost seems to rattle a little bit even after securing all four screws, and almost feels ever so slightly loose. Mine is doing the same thing. do you think that's normal?
Can you configure its fan installation, since i wanted it as an intake and place it at the front.
does it come with flat head fan screws or lower profile screws for fans? thumb screws are kinda bulky for my ITX build so I am kinda worried.
but can the waterblock logo be turned? a friend has the logo vertically instead of horizontally. Does it need to be disassembled again?
Congratulations on your video. You could say which is better? This Cooler Master 240L V2 or Enermas LIQMAX III 240 RGB. Thank you
previous liqmax had some problems with the liquid inside getting gunked, not sure if fixed. My 2 ML240s v1 have been fine for me.
Should I buy this or Deepcool gammaxx L240? Which one would perfectly pair with my r5 3600(Overclocked to 4.1Ghz)?
When you're giving a delta temperature don't forget to include the room temperature because otherwise, the entire test doesn't make much sense.
@Ádám Bezzegh If the room is 40c and you have a cooling capacity of 350W on a 1050ti that consumes ~130W the entire test is going to make no sense. The reason been the cooler can desipate as much heat as the air can take. If you perform the same test example (1050ti 350W cooler rate) in a room that's 10c you'll see quite a bit of a difference in the delta. If you want the test to make sense you should either compare it to a known cooler or give info such as fan cfm and room temp.
@Ádám Bezzegh If you are interested in knowing more about it I recommend taking a look at physics and more specifically thermodynamics. I don't want to be offensive! I would like you to understand me.
I always feel sad for the energy lost due to lack of technology. We use energy to heat up a device (which is a side effect), then spend more energy and resources too cool it down. It's a waste of resources. Scientists should fix this asap. We need a cpu that does not produce waste heat, or a system that can recycle that heat energy.
Does this ever need to be refilled with water? Or can u hook it up and good forever? Or until changing processor anyways?
How will I mount the radiator to the top of my case?
Most don’t seem to like the little cooler master rgb controllers, I’m a big fan frankly though
Hello, great video. I want to ask you a question, do you recommend using this cooler for a Ryzen 9 3900XT processor? or which one would you recommend?
I don't. I had the original ML240L and it was great. The V2 version of it is no better than a Hyper 212. Mine will be going back to Micro Center. I have a 2600x undervolted and running with PBO enabled, and doing stress testing gets me into the mid 70s with it.
My original ML240L didn't pass 65 degrees with the same tests.
In gaming I get into the low 60s with this cooler, and with the original I MAY have spiked to 55 or so occasionally.
@@jamesmdean1987 should i get this or just air cooler w the same price?
@@muammarbasalamah6943 air cooler for the same price.
So i just installed this. Aio fans work, but no rgb in the fans or cooler... All cables are connected correctly cannot figure it out. And sadly this model isn't compatible with Masterplus software... Any ideas?
hi i just bought this aio but i dont think its working? my radiator is just cold even if my pc has runned for over an hour, my pump on my cpu is also just almost cold you cant realy feel the heat its just like its turned off, any 1 know's what im talking about/tips ?
the fans are too loud and not efficient. I replaced the fans with the Corsair Carbide 400R's and at full RPM you can't hear them. Makes the cooling much better. Works well with my Ryzen with a +400mhz bump. - Great Video!
my temp hovering at 40c at idle is it normal ? and what should i do to fix it fi its not normal ?
AIO PUMP in AMD X670E motherboard has 4 pins but the cooler pump socket is 3 pin..where do I connect?
Thank you for the video!
I have a question about vibration noise. I hear a vibration noise when the pc is hot, but no at the moment that the pc reaches certain hot temperature but when the time passes in such temperatures. I listen carefully and it is not a pump noise because it is not even and not like the ones I hear on the internet. The noise comes from the upper part of the CPU, in the fans area. What do you think about it? Also when in idle it happens, but much more quiet and almost undetectable.
Thank you very much and if you can help me I would appreciate a lot.
Have a great day!
Im trying to build my first pc but the only part im lacking is a cooling system for my cpu
I got an Asus ROG Strix z490-e mother board and an i7 10700k cpu would this water cooler be compatible?
if anyone knows which app can i use to change the fan colors i used to use icue but then the motherboard option disappeared and now i cant change the fan color
What about testing under game usage and gaming + streaming usage what's the temperatures under this conditions? i'm really inclined to buy this one for overclocking my i5 4690k is it enough ?
Thanks
I got the old version of the 360 rad, it's ok- but I've heard they are prone to fail. I will probably be swapping it out very soon for possibly a corsair 360 or any one that's recommended to be good, * am4, rgb (love making a custom colour scheme) and good reliability :)
Sir, I have a msi B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC motherboard and there is not cpu_opt, only CPU fan header on my motherboard. I want to ask where to connect the three-pin pump cable?
Any other available fan header should be fine. However, I would make sure to configure the pump to run at full speed.
Which leg of the pump is the water intake .... the lower placed one ?
What do I do if I don't have CPU_OTP? I have a Gigabyte B550M DS3H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard.
If i dont have the cpu opt header where to i plug in the pump?? I have an msi b450 motherboard
mate, will it still working if i dont plug fan's rgb connector?
My Mobo doesn't have CPU_OPT, where should I install the Pump? There's a PUMP_FAN1 socket, should I connect it there?
Hi, how to change the color? pcq I can't do it with Masterplus
Bro my aio is not getting detected in the rgb fusion software but works fine with remote only. What am i foing wrong here. I have recoonected cables of 12v rgb as well
i have a problem with this cooler . every time i open a videogame and sometimes a website , there is a loud sound coming from the fans but it happens from time to time and then it disappears . what can it be the problem? , i didn't install the cooler , a friend of mine did . is it a bad installation? or does it need some calibration? btw the temperature of the CPU is ok . it never overheats or something like that.
can we change color in mobo rgb software for example asrock polychrome paralel with ram rgb color , fan casing as well
I’m prob still gonna buy ... it’s dirt cheap and looks amazing for pretty good performance
Loud af
it has life expectancy of 18.2 years 👌🏻 btw how to do maintainance to this AIO?
If I were you, I would have skipped attaching the fans on the radiator as the first task as they add quite a bit of weight to what is already a fairly heavy piece of hardware. I would attach the radiator to the case first, then attach the pump block and then set the fans on, since this AIO has the benefit of having fan screws that can easily be tightened with your fingers so you are also less likely to damage the screw threads.
Great video. I was able to install on my prebuilt cyber power pc. Only problem is I am unable to sync all the rgb lights. The fans that came with PC are 3 pin rgb and the fans with the cooler are 4pin. I tried a splitter but nothing turned on.
Did you fix that? I'm having the same problem here. I want my lights white, and when I turn on my pc, they're red --'

What do you recommend for my ryzen 5 3600, the ambient temperature where I live is 50 degrees, do you recommend corsair a500 or is this refrigeration the cooler master?
Does something else still work for you?
do you recommend it?
Cooler Master Hyper 212 works just as well if not better as the corsair a500, at a cheaper price point
I cannot make my RGB work with i connect it directly to the mother board. I have to use the adaptor to connect it directly to the psu for the RBG. Fan works ok for both mother board and PSU. can someone please help. I have a gigabyte elite ATX 690 MB

would this cooler master be better then the nzxt Kraken X53 for a fraction of the price?
Would this be good for overclocking?
Can you manually control the fan speeds?
can you do a picture on the screen of that aio?
What program do you use to get this to sync with your other Fans and Gskill trident Z memory?
you can use aura sync or armoury crate
do you think it will be good for i9 9900k?
Wait so will this work with a msi z390 a pro as the motherboard has no rgb headers EDIT: tysm best helpful vid

Can rgb fusion 2.0 sync with the fans and the aio?
Where can i download some fan control software?
does this fit intel 1151 and new 1200 socket?
Did he say keeping an 9900k at 67°C, at max overclocking and under stress is disappointing??
can i use this on a air-cooled pc aswell?
does it work as fans for the pc??
are the fans set up to push air towards the radiator, or outwards from the radiator?
towards, you want the air to flow THROUGH the radiator.
