This is so well explained I think that even I could install this. Blind-folded.
Just installed my ML240L V2. I didn't know where to plug the pump on the motherboard and yours is the one video I found that explains it perfectly. Thanks for the video it really helped.
Just wanted to say I just built my first pc ever and this video along with a few of your others ones saved me when it came to cables and knowing where to plug things in. Couldn’t have done it without you
Yo, does this cooler with with a mini it’s case?
@@roderick9039 depends on the case, as long as there is space for the 240mm rad somewhere
Thank you SO SO much! The audience for this video is very specific and you did a marvelous job of helping us!! Keep it up!
Great tutorial. You Sir answered all the questions I’ve been researching for the past 2 hours. Video liked and subscribed.
Watched so many channels for this fix.. and you're the best.. Most clear. Absolute legend. First pc build and this helped me a ton. Thank you!
Mate this video is so well done, the explanations give a simple step by step method and cover every possibility so that you can't get confused by anything. Well done.
This is install guide is on point! Thank you for taking your time and explaining all the wires and connections. That was the most overwhelming part for me. I can't wait to get home and finish up my build. I trillion thanks🎉🎉🎉 saving this to my library.
Thank you so much! I would never have been able to figure out how to install it without this
Thank you so much for this video! I did a big PC upgrade of mobo, CPU and GPU and got this cooler to go with it and I've never used a liquid cooler like this before. This video helped me so much, especially with how to connect all the fan and RGB cables.
FINALLY! A tutorial showing where to plug things in. Jeez lol thank you sir!
Right!!! Lol I didn't want to go searching to long.
i dont mean to be so off topic but does someone know a tool to get back into an Instagram account?
I was dumb forgot the password. I love any tricks you can offer me.
@Jaxson Xander instablaster :)
@Jerome Maxim thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and Im trying it out atm.
Takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Jerome Maxim it worked and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thanks so much, you really help me out :D
Great installation video fams. Very clear instructions
Tried my first AIO install following this video step by step. Success! Thank you so much!
I want to thank you for this video . It made install time faster and quicker.
Thank you so much i had zero idea what I was doing!
thanks man great tutorial helped me a lot with the wiring
This video was very helpful. Shows where the cables go and how to install.
I brought this cooler for my pc after my old cooler died.
this installation GUIs is very useful. One tip I'll give is to put the fans in the pull configuration behind the radiator because it will be easyer to clean dust
Thanks man! These instructions also work for the ML120L version, which is the one I own. This is a great cooler, I bought it for a Ryzen 5 3600 and now I'm using it on a Core i7 11700.
Does it work with de the S1200 socket?
back in my day vidoes like this didn't exist nice for beginners ;D
Ти гледай някое видео за cable management. Ще ти е от полза ;)

Great tutorial. Helped me with my build...new sub here.
Thanks for all great tips
Thank you for this video!! Tremendous help.
Subbed. Thanks mate, your video should save me a lot of time. 👍
I will add that the manual does NOT mention LGA1200 and it was impossible to get hold of cooler master for answers, so this video was extremely helpful.
thanks dude very helpful.
Ordered all my parts for my budget setup can’t wait to start gaming 🤤
Same!!! Need to wait till 07-10
chris.ds. How is your build?
Shmuel _06 What’s the specs?
Me too mine is: i7 10700k and rtx 2070s
Edit: after I know the prices of new rtx 3000 series iam getting rtx 3090
Robert XD Gaming that’s BUDGET bruh
Very good video demonstration
Moço, nos ajudou demais! Parabéns pelo seu vídeo, você é fera! 🤝
Once again perfectly explained and if someone still gets it wrong well they weren't paying attention .. I love that you had to tell someone that the motherboard and the hardware other than the cooler weren't included in the box or the cost lol.. Maybe I'm biased but I do prefer the way Intel attach their cooler over AMD. Maybe its just made for simple people like me but hey I'm cool with that lol.
Excelent tutorial, ty bro.
great video. preciate the help boss
Ty for this video help me so much 😁
Omg you saved my life, i ordered this in a package and it came in an unmarked box with no instruction manual and some labels on the small bags missing.....gl hf
nice explanation mate!
Very helpful, thanks
@Gear Seekers does the pump make a bit of noise? or is something loose on mine? I just installed it today using your video and it makes a really feint whirring noise. My old one (iBuyPower garbage) never made a sound unless it was clogged. Good video, it made the process easy.
I have the white edition and it works great. As a side note, there is an new model, it is addressable. Mine is connected thru the bigger box version controller and to my Jrainbow header on my MSI board. I can control the pump and fan lighting with masterplus.
Is this practically the same process to install the cooler to the top of the case?
Excelente tutorial, gracias amigo.
This was great video but I am having an issue getting the RGB to work. I plugged it directly into the motherboard but it doesn't seem to work....do I still need the money connector if I did it that way?
FIRST GOOD VIDEO FOR LIQUID COOLER INSTALLATION HANDS DOWN AND TY ALOT
I know this video is slightly older now but i'm hoping you can help with a pretty simple question. I have this exact AiO and case, i would like to use fans on both sides of the radiator. So my question is does it matter if i install the first set of fans on the outside of the case like done in this video vs leaving the stock phantek fans on the inside position they come and adding the radiator +2 more fans. Is the weight too much to have all 3 layers inside the case? Or is best practice mounting the first 2 fans outside (like this video), then radiator inside the case with extra 2 fans attached inside?
Less confusing version:
|FAN| |RAD| CASE |FAN| VS |FAN| |RAD| |FAN| CASE - does it matter?
Those screws that you put in around the COU before putting the water block on, mine don’t fit my motherboard. What should I do?
I have cpufan 2 instead of pump fan. would it be a problem if I plugged it into cpufan 2? BTW female is 3 pin while the male on the mb is 4 pin. does it matter which pin I leave off?
i just have cha_fan and cpu_fan because i have a h310m-e r2.0 motherboard but when i plug the pump into cpu fan and the fans i mounted on the radiator into cha_fan the radiator fans dont work
I recently installed the same radiator displayed in the video and for some reason I’m not getting any display. I followed the instructions the way they were presented. Could it be cause I put a little too much thermal paste?
I’ve had this cooler for years and I’m just taking the time to install. Now I’m wondering if my case supports this cooler. I’ve got a deep cool atx case and the only area that remotely looks right is the top of the case.
Thank you!
If I use the other system you showed to plug the rgb- how do I plug the rgb of my other fan ?
How do i change the rgb and sync it? I did the second rgb method and its just pulsing rainbow color.
this video was published on my birthday :D
I have a question. I have the LGA 1200 mobo and the back bracket for the back of the mobo does not much what you have in this video. Did they change the black bracket as mine has no area to thread into. It has weird black plastic clips and long screws with a little thread on the end and on the other end a flat square head with no screw driver slot. This is my first time installing the cpu liquid cooler and it is starting to stress me out!
Can I just connect the power cable to run the pump and let without RGB? I did this process but the pump seems like without power, how I check if it’s working properly?
i see on some videos they put the fans on top or the front of the case does anyone know if it matters were u place the fans
Hi, the RGB controller works with Gigabyte Ambient LED software that comes with Z390 Gigabyte boards?
Odd question but does it matter which direction the actual pump is orientated ? My logo is placed vertically not horizontally
quick question, if my mother board (B560M DS3H V2) doesn't have a pump header how should I go about plugging it into the motherboard? Note that I do have a SYS_fan 1, 2, 3 and a CPU_FAN header.
If I am buying this aio to replace another that is currently installed in my PC (LGA 1200) , do I need to change the backplate? Or will the existing backplate work?
Is it also possible to mount this to the top of my pc case? And how do i have to mount the fans is i place it on the top? With the logo on the inside of the pc or outisde the pc?
Hi Gear Seekers , What if I connect pump cable 3pin into aio pump header not cpu fan opt ? Is it fine or this header will make pump rotate on full speed always and not up & down as demand ?????
this is unrelated but my case comes with 2 ARGB fans which I’m gonna use and one of my case fans is ARGB and I only have on ARGB header so should I buy a three way adapted? Thanks
The RGB header is it okay to be v12 or v5? Im scared idk which one for the 360 coolermaster one
thank you man
Question: My mother board has a CPU fan 1, system fan 1, and system fan 2 connections I don't have a pump connection. where should I connect the pump power too? Thanks Tom
I'm running an Asus b550 f...it has an aio plug next to where the cpu fan plug goes, is that where I'd put the aio fan?
I have done it exactly like you did, (with the controller) the cooler it self works perfectly but the rgbs dont. When i tried to just plug it straight on the motherboard like the second way you showed the cooler rgb works but the ones on the fans dont. Is there a way you can help me?
i have a Z590-E wifi board and i see a AIO header and a WTR hearder do i ignore it and use the CPU OP header?
Hi I’ve read through the comments and couldn’t find any answers is there any way to connect the cpu fan plug into something else as I’m using all my other fan slots I only have 2 fans in total
Sir,,the fans will suck the outside air into rhe cabinet, or should we not exhale the hot.air from the cabinet...I am a bit confused.Kindly assist.
Hi, I want to install an aio on my MSI B360M Gaming Plus motherboard, could you please tell me where to plug in the pump? There’s nothing on my motherboard that says PUMP.
Do i have to remove the. Double sided tape for mounting
I am going to mount this cooler on a CoolerMaster MB500 case which already has 2 fans in the front. I saw a video of someone doing that same combination that I will use and he has mounted the radiator on top of the case with fans from inside to outside instead of the front of it with fans from outside to inside like you did. Is that totally fine or should I get the case fans removed from the front, mount them on top and then mount the radiator and its fans on the front like you did? Is it just a question of preference of each person or does it make any difference?
Thank you dude I thought I had the headers plugged in correctly and was thinking why is my cpu peaking at 90? After proper installation my temps dropped to 30 idle and 60 peak!
Can you please do another of those non RGB builds
if anyone can help me it’s my first pc build. i have this cooler & installing is going well but when you route the cables to the back of the pc case for “cable management” is that nessecary? it seems like the back of my pc case doesn’t come off :/
I added this to my cyber power prebuilt PC that came with three fans with 3 pin rgb. How can I combine with the cooler master 4 pin fans? I tried a splitter and the fans did not work.
I am looking at buying this aio but I couldn't find a pump header on my mb. What can i do?
I first did the RGB into the motherboard and only one fan and the pump lit up then I switched it to see if it would work and now only one fan lights up. Any idea why this is happening?
Will it matter if I plugged the pump in cpu. Fan hub an the fans into the system fan hub?
Great, thank you
You may have answered this, but will this Cooler work with a XPS 8500 motherboard?
how do you register the rgb with dragon center?
After installing mine, it lights up, fans kick on then it shuts off. Tried plugging pump in 4 pin cpu fan as well as system fan headers. Checked all cables. Idk what is wrong.
Doesn't seem to be available in aus atm? Any ideas when it may be and pricing?
I plugged it into my 12v RBG it staying yellow in color how can I change it it didn’t sync with my other case fans ??
can i put the fans facing the interior of the case i mean not have them facing the exterior of the case?
idk if i missed it somewhere in the video, how many volts is the rgb header?
My cooler didn't come with the molex power connector, is it replaceable?
super helpful video thanks! but the lights for the fan on the liquid cooler still wont pop on :(
if you wanted could you fasten the radiator in the roof of your case?
I highly recommend your figure out how to plug th erbg cables into the fans first and leave the splitter haing off them before fully mounting them so you have one thing to pass through and pull the rest with it.
Thank you! Best video on net. I’m a noob and managed to do it! XD
Hey I bought one of these used off eBay and everything works but It didn't come with the Intel bracket I have a LGA 1150 Socket and I can't find a replacement kit anywhere and I really need one so if someone knows where I can order replacement hardware that would just be awesome
for some reason I can only get the cooler to mount into 2 of the backplate screws at a time what is going on???!!!
how do I install the fans and rgb and basically all those wires withOUT a splitter
I have an NZXT kraken x60 on my LGA1150 socket. Will it go on an LGA1200 socket?
Alright. I bought the cooler and installed it. It works fine. BUT, it is kinda loud when I start the browser or a game then become quite again. And after I installed it I got a lot of beeping noises, didn't have before. Does someone know what can it be?
i think my pump doesnt work. I pluged it in 3 pin on the msi z490. but when i check stats in bios, it shows 0 rpm. and temperature of cpu is 90. Please help
Does it appear that the fan arrangement is blowing the hot air into the case?
I have done some in-depth testing over the last month with multiple fan configurations, multiple reseats, multiple thermal pastes. If you are overclocked at 5gz this system can idle at 40c and stress out at 70c (cinebench). 4 fans need to be used, 2 on either side of the rad. PUSH-PULL. Thermal paste needs to be spread out with a spatula. USE MORE than one pea size blob. It needs to be generously spread out. I have tried with less thermal paste (one pea size blob) and it was spread out too thin. I even tried the Noctua NF-F12 iPPC 3000 PWM, Heavy Duty Cooling Fans. They only affected the temps marginally. I tried the Scythe Kaze Flex 120mm Fan, Quiet Case/CPU Cooler Fan, PWM 300-1200 RPM also.
I settled with two kaze fans on the exterior of the rad pushing air into the rad, and two of the original Sickle Flow fans inside the pc pulling the air out of the radiator. Moral of the story, use 4 fans, make sure thermal paste is evenly spread out : a little more works best, rather than a little less.
A couple of flaws in your testing.
A 240mm AIO for a CPU than can hit 5GHz is no where near enough surface area.
Cinebench does not load the CPU enough to saturate an AIO cooler. An AIO needs at least an hour to fully max out its cooling performance and hit the thermal ceiling.
I would suggest using a proper stress test. I guarantee your CPU will be closer to 100C with proper testing.
@@GearSeekers I will try Aida 64 for an hour. I fear you are correct. I did briefly try a 360, but it only lowered temps by 4c? Again these were all 5 minute stress tests with XTU and Aida.
