Hey there! Thanks for the detailed review of the Cooler Master ML240 V2. It's great to know that it offers good cooling performance and runs quietly. The price point seems reasonable as well. However, I share your concerns about the mounting method and the cable mess. Those are aspects that could be improved, but as you mentioned, for a budget cooler, it's still a solid option. I appreciate your thorough testing and the information you provided about compatibility and installation. It's always helpful for potential buyers to have these details. I'm interested in knowing more about your experience with it in the long term, so if you have any updates or further insights down the line, please do share. Thanks for the review!

I just bought this cooler and I'm using it on an i5 11600k works very well and I got it for around 72.00 dollars. Great budget cooler imo and very nice RGB imo.
It's not a stupid question! Yes, anything labelled as "AIO" (All-In-One) liquid cooler generally comes pre-filled, and often doesn't use plain water but a similar coolant to what you'd find in your car's window washer fluid.
A question tho, I'm getting my first AIO watercooler: this one. The only thing I'm uncertain of is of where you put the water in? Or is the water already inside the radiator?? Thanks.
So part of the "all in one" product is that they almost always come pre filled, and sealed. There are some exceptions, but they make that very clear if you need to fill them.
Hi, new to switching pc parts but trying to update some of the stock in my pre built while changing out the case. Would this aio work for an Intel i7-9700F?
Im using Freezer 34 eSport One on my 9700F and temps are really good. Between 30-35 while idle and between 50-60 (depends on the game). I was thinking to buy this ML240L V2 just because of the look. Depending on how you mount the radiator, you might want to mount the fans on the radiator first befote putting it into the case, did a twin 360 rad build but forgot to mount the fans first, it was not fun at all. You cable manage last as most thing can be unplugged if you don’t like the way its routed.

Hey ! I'm pretty scared of Cooler Master's AIO right now because of their old ML series which leaked, A LOT. So are the leaking problems fixed on the V2 variant ? Great video btw !
AIO is unnecessary. Basically any aftermarket air cooler seems good. Be Quiet, Noctua, Cooler Master, and Deepcool seem good. Although an AIO (watercooler) is great. Get what you want
I have gtx 1080 and r7 2700x and power supply with 600w.Can I use this cooler without blowing up my pc?I saw spec for cooler and i saw something like TDP 200w.
TDP is thermal design power. It means that the cooler is suitable for cpu's that draw under that. It has nothing to do with the power of your entire system.
@Paulie Walnuts you have mounted it wrong if you are hearing air in the pump. The pump should be lower than the inlet ports, if they are try running the pump and (carefully) lift the pc and rotate it lengthwise backwards and forwards till it goes quiet.
The V2 is an updated version. The 240r has ARGB where the V2 is RGB. However, I live in Taiwan and the ml240l V2 is the ARGB. I am not sure why Cooler Master didn't make all versions of the ml240l V2 ARGB.
If it works for a 3900x as demonstrated it the video which has a TDP of 105w then it will work even better with 3700x which has a TDP of 65w, it draws less power so produces less heat. You should be able to comfortably overclock a 3700x with this cooler if you wanted to. If you're overclocking for the first time watch a tutorial video. Id reccomend the JayzTwoCents Ryzen overclocking guide.
Between the two which is louder this aio or the air cooler I’ll just go with whatever is quieter (the air cooler is the artic freezer esport duo that he recommended in the end)
I was very interested in buying this cooler but it has terrible reviews on Amazon. Thermal paste licking, the pomp gets very noisy, the radiator comes damaged, the pipes are worse material than presented, etc. Amazon seems sus af at this point.
I have this and yes. It's gets loud. The pump fan needs to be controlled by the motherboard or it goes off. just spend a few more dollars and get the arctic liquid freezer 2. it reduces temps by like 10 degrees.
Hyper 212 Evo for budget, ML240 AIO for mid-range or Noctua UH14s if you're not into AIOs. Any AIO above $100 will perform relatively similar so knock your socks off.
hatdog :p The stock cooler can maintain it at base speeds and won’t present any thermal issues, if you’re looking to spend some money in an aftermarket cooler go for a Hyper 212 Evo or Corsair H60 for budget liquid cooling. I recommend going for a DH14-15 from Noctua for practicality and performance but any liquid cooler above $70 and brand name will suffice
@@MsBokica1 over clocked my I5 9600kf to 5.1 gigahertz and it runs at 30 idle and the highest I've gotten is 57 (but that migth just be the silicon lottery)
That depends. If you want to overclock then sure. Otherwise just use the stock cooler. Or if you really want a third party cooler but not as expensive get the cooler master hyper 212(black edition if you wanna spend a little more)
@TechteamGB what cooler do you recommend for a system with a 3700x and RTX 3070? I'm kind of interested to know the differences in temps from one of these (ML240 V2) and say the stock that comes with the 3700x, other vids show around 10 degrees difference at their worst. I'm on my first build so am struggling with the concept of AIO's and having less warranty than air cooled (say Noctua 6 years). Originally wanted the NH-D15 but way too big for the case. Is stock a viable option?
3000s ryzen runs insanely toasty, don’t expect low temps, the stock coolers does the job. Unless you run synthetic benchmark 24/7, I would save the money and maybe get a m.2 ssd.

Can just put it into cpu fan and have it run at 100%
PWM fan headers work just fine.
Can someone tell me if this exact liquid cooler supports the B550m motherboard ?
Yes it should cause B550 boards still uses AM4 socket.
I just got an i9 and 3070. Worried this cooler isn’t enough. Will it cool an i9 10900k?
i think you should probably go for something a bit better but if you are ok with temps like 80 degrees at full load its good
between 80-90 degrees
Hi! Which one is better CM Ml240r or this Ml240 V2? please i need help
I think the v2
Because ml240 v2 aio does have new dubbel pump feature and is much better in cooling than the 240r.
The V2 is an updated version. The 240r has ARGB where the V2 is RGB. However, I live in Taiwan and the ml240l V2 is the ARGB. I am not sure why Cooler Master didn't make all versions of the ml240l V2 ARGB.
V2
you have Trident Z Royal RGB RAM and you still have ketchup and mustard cables BHAHAHA
Money could’ve been spent better
Your Fan should be pulling cool air from outside the case ,not warm air from inside the case.
Would this work well with a 3700x ?
If it works for a 3900x as demonstrated it the video which has a TDP of 105w then it will work even better with 3700x which has a TDP of 65w, it draws less power so produces less heat. You should be able to comfortably overclock a 3700x with this cooler if you wanted to. If you're overclocking for the first time watch a tutorial video. Id reccomend the JayzTwoCents Ryzen overclocking guide.
Between the two which is louder this aio or the air cooler I’ll just go with whatever is quieter (the air cooler is the artic freezer esport duo that he recommended in the end)
Aio because pump fans run as hard and fast as they can as long as the system is on
Will I get good performance, sound and temperature if paired with Intel Core i5-9600K 9TH GEN?
With 6 cores, I would assume so.
Is there rgb settings? E.g can I have it as just red or just white or blue etc
you control the RGB with the controller
that mounting position tho...
is this good enough for a i7-9700k?
It should be just fine, I wouldn’t recommend an extreme over clock though
Elliott Blackhurst thanks
It works but when over clocking do a extreme load test after words to make sure you're not going over 80c
Why does mine have a terrible screeching noise when playing games like rainbow six and Cod Mw
That's most likely coil whine from your graphics card
Mute chat, usually removes annoying noises.
Does this AIO work well on the i9 10900k?
So long as it's an LGA Socket, the AIO will come with the correct standoffs, so yes. It does.
can i replace the fans with corsair fans ?
Yep absolutely. Any standard 120mm fans will work
I'm not going in this direction, Scythe Mugen 5's cool down to 60 degrees.... Why even go with liquid.
Looks better and performs equally as well
@@fhvawrvc8260 nah this one will perform worse, especially taking noise into account
@@jebhank1620 no I ment in general aios compared to fans
Will this cooler keep the 5600x cool?
For sure
Perfect for the i5 10400f!
@@TheNegativeDude Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it.
How do u costomize it’s rgb
Idk have you found out 😅it's been a month
Just use whatever rgb software you use for your motherboard to control rgb case fans. I use RGB Fusion with a Gigabyte motherboard.
Why does he sound so high
what is a good cooler for an i7 8700?
Hyper 212 Evo for budget, ML240 AIO for mid-range or Noctua UH14s if you're not into AIOs. Any AIO above $100 will perform relatively similar so knock your socks off.
@@HALIGOAT_ what is a good cooler for ryzen 5 3600
hatdog :p The stock cooler can maintain it at base speeds and won’t present any thermal issues, if you’re looking to spend some money in an aftermarket cooler go for a Hyper 212 Evo or Corsair H60 for budget liquid cooling. I recommend going for a DH14-15 from Noctua for practicality and performance but any liquid cooler above $70 and brand name will suffice

I ordered same procesor and this aio cooler, so how good is this cooler for overclocking i5 9600k in your experience? Pls answer, thanks...
@@MsBokica1 over clocked my I5 9600kf to 5.1 gigahertz and it runs at 30 idle and the highest I've gotten is 57 (but that migth just be the silicon lottery)

will it handle my future 5900x ?
Probably
So far so good.
Hey mate, is it still good? Just purchased a 5900x and was wondering
@@Moustaash Man, só far so good, no problems. but I haven't overclocked to tell you if it goes smooth with that kind of demand. Cheers
What kinda temps do you get when benching or under load?

he cooled a 3900x with it, so yes, but check to make sure it can fit in your case
Absolutely. It cools my 3700x just fine.

Chauncey Stewart is it also top mounted and used as exhaust

I would recommend using the stock cooler with a ryzen 5 spend the extra 80 $ on more storage
Or accessories
That depends. If you want to overclock then sure. Otherwise just use the stock cooler. Or if you really want a third party cooler but not as expensive get the cooler master hyper 212(black edition if you wanna spend a little more)
@@darkphoenix1111 yeah but stock cooler runs to hot
@@darkphoenix1111 you need your CPU to be cool that's why you should always get a aftermarket cooler unless your coolers doing ok for now
@TechteamGB what cooler do you recommend for a system with a 3700x and RTX 3070?
@@maman89 upto the put of writing this, got a Samsung 970Evo+1TB, XPG CR 750W Gold, Corsair V LPX 2x16GB 3200 and Lian Li LCII Mesh Performance. That doesn't do it later could add AIO and have 2 spare fans I guess.
@@raider2105 definately go for the fans first
Go for a Dark Rock Slim or a smaller Noctua fan cooler if that one doesn't fit, 3700x and 3070 are a good combo I wouldn't cheap out on a cooler.
@@srymybad If I'm honest haven't been able to get a 3070 and not paying the inflated price anyway, got a GT 710 and am playing emulator games quite nicely from PS2, and still have the stock wraith prism cooler on the 3700x, haven't seen it get above 70 degrees, got 2 intake fans, 3 exhaust and 2 for the gpu, airflow is great and can't fault the stock cooler, the RGB is pretty cool too, even if mystic light sucks and randomly changes the scheme :D

It will pair the i7 very well, if you’re going to overclock the temps shouldn’t be too high
