Bro thank you for this video and what your doing for the community.. I wish you more subscribers. This video was super helpful in so may ways and was right on time ...
Bro I really appreciate it. I glad I’m bringing. Value to my subscribers
that was a dope explanation. I do it differently but this way is definitely better.
Thank you I appreciate it man I try to help.
Ty for this
no problem
I'll try this over Thanksgiving Holidays with my Emu MP 7 (the bass sounds in that thing are killer)
Fox Styles word yeah it’s dope I got most this week off too so I will hit you up bro
I was going to do the same thing but at the end just bought a Kontakt instrument with all the EMU modules. Including the MoPhatt. It doesn’t work in standalone but for sure is less work. I am waiting for someone to release the moPhatt instruments as MPC programs. :)
Thanks for the help!
Been meaning to dig up old Casio keyboard for lo fi production, good look for the vid❗️✌🏾‼️
BiggWill Beats get that thing out and utilize them sounds bro lol thanks for watching.
thanx man
No problem thanks for stopping thru
Would you have to sample each sound individually if you wanted to sample all the sounds in the keyboard or is their a global or all sounds functions for sampling an entire keyboard?
As far as I know there is no way to sample multiple patches at a time unless you set the patch up like that on your synth or keyboard being sampled. You would need to sample every individual sound or get the ones you really can’t live with out in there.
Awesome stuff, I still don't have an MPC Live but this has pushed my a little closer to being convinced I need one. Also a great way to be able to play sounds from mono synths in poly. So many options with this, like being able to work with your vst sounds whereever and then go back to the vst when you bring it back to the computer for final production. Does it use loop points so that you can hold down a note as long as you want or is note length limited to sample time?
it depends on how you sample it. because you can set your sample to go for a long time if you want that long sustain. only con is it will make the file size larger. so if you can play what ever you want to auto sample and I usually hold it for as long as i would like to play the sound and count the seconds. every 1000 ms is 1 second so if you want something to hold for 8 secs it would be a length of 8000 ms when your in the auto sample settings. hope this helps.
@@THEKINGOCAESAR Do you sample every sound on your external gear or just your favorites?
@@terrencesearcy8214 it’s good to sample everything because even if it is wack you can make it better.
Do you have a video explaining how to make beats in MPC live directly with external synths? I see you have the Motif and MiniNova, aside from auto sample how would I get those sounds into my mpc live? I have a Roland fa-06 hooked up to my Live and I can play back my beats and hear the melodies but I can’t bounce that audio. I would appreciate the help bro
No but I could do one it’s pretty simple actually
To help you tho if you have face time or face book I could do a quick video call with you
@@THEKINGOCAESAR Yeah bro I got FT I would greatly appreciate that 💯💯

Hit me up
cool stuff
Aleks Zvon thanks bro.
But how many libraries can you put into the unit itself? I heard that it's not alot, and people say you need to keep most of your sounds on an sd card or usb stick to save them into and load everytime you want to make a beat? I want to get one of these so bad, but it just reminds me of a computer to much, and having to deal with it like a computer or laptop, and that's what I'm trying to completely get away from, but I want one of these more than ever. Basically, what I'm asking is, say I load 100 pad sounds, a couple hundred drum sounds, some samples, and some leads, do you think that would budge the space this thing has, or would that be "alot" for the machine to save and have in it at once, including the sounds that come with it? Just an idea or estimate? Thanks, how are the sounds that come with it?
N8 BEATS everything is just redundancies. You can’t put many on you internal drive because I believe it’s only 16 gigs, but I’m my case I have installed a 1 tb internal hard drive and it’s just a hard drive so you can put what ever sounds and programs you want on it until you run out of space. It’s good to have an sd card to transfer sample to and from the mpc like if you export beats or sample to other daw’s, so I do recommend having a external hard drive or sd card. They thought of almost everything foreal. Hope this answered your question.
Also it comes with a lot of sounds like ten gigs I believe.
Now to answer your other question depending on how you sample your synths or vsts determined on how many you can effect the ram and cpu usage but even with that you could load a lot with drums. Now if you are creating custom drum or sample programs it should be fine because creating drum programs don’t take up hardly any space. Key groups are what take up space but still not that much. The machine only has problems when your are loading a lot of keygroup programs and creating beats.
@@THEKINGOCAESAR Yeah, thank you for the feedback brother, but just an estimate, how many sounds...kicks, snares, hi hats, one shots, sound effects, etc. do you think ten gigs is? I am new with this whole gigabyte thing and I have no idea in those terms, how many clap, snare, drum, etc, samples that is? Just from you being on and scrolling through your akai live, just about how many sounds would you say or guess that is around? Like a thousand, 500, 2000 sounds? You don't gotta be right, I'm just looking for an idea is all, what you would guess? Thanks man
N8 BEATS so one of my 808s is 747kb. It take 1000kb to make 1 megabyte so we see that this 808 is almost a full mb. But it take 1000 mb to make 1 gigabyte so just based off this math if you wanted to fill the whole thing up with sample and one shot then you could fit over 16,000 samples.
