Nice to have you back.
I don't have a sweet tooth but if im in a restaurant or pushed to have a sweet, Sticky toffee pudding with ice cream is what i would have Everytime.
Hi Scotty, we do want to try sticky toffee pudding in the UK. Not something you find here very easily.
Great tasting again guys - I would love any of those puddings - glad you liked our comfort pudds.
Hi Jeff, Happy Wednesday! They were all very enjoyable, absolutely love the variety of pudds you have there. Wonderful taste and quality, in a blind taste test we couldn't tell if it was home-made or not. Great variety!
P.s .sticky toffey pudding is so easy to make at home ,when we have a family time. We have to have sticky toffee pudding .I make a chocolate sauce pudding ,I'll see if I can find it for YOU. And post it on here.Take care and all the best. 😄😄😄
We checked out a few recipes online. Forgot that it has dates in it.
The Lemon drizzle cake I would have gone for double cream.
We've seen double cream in the import store, but we don't usually find it in our regular stores.
It's been announced Heinz have discontinued their range of tinned steam puddings they were handy for long storage, some people even took them camping
Hi Misolgit69! I think once, just once, many moons ago I did see a tinned steam pudding in a store before ever trying one and was curious. I could see how it would be perfect for long trips and camping, aside from Heinz are there other companies that possibly still sell them in cans/tins? Happy Wednesday! :)
@FinnLovesFood I don't think so sorry
i remember having those as a youth in the early 70's and i remember them being lovely and tasty , i suppose all good things bow to the inevitable
All looked good. You guys always make me hungry when you eat lol. I would like the lemon to plus sticky toffee pudding. ❤❤❤❤
Hi Elizabeth, all were good, but those were some top picks between the two of us.
I did not expect Ross to assault me with a box mid video 😂
😆
Probably Bramley Apples, great for cooking.
Hi Neil, we wondered if they were Bramley apples! We've never seen them here. Usually it's Granny Smith that's used in pies, etc.
@@FinnLovesFood Granny Smiths are fine. Bramleys are more of a UK thing as cultivated here in the early 1800's and became real popular in cooking. Def not for eating raw though, sour as hell!
@@Temeraire101 at least Granny Smiths are edible, though I prefer apples a little sweeter just for eating.
All look totally yum. I'd love them all, I'm sure! Must try that brand sometime.
Hi Agranda, hope you're doing well! If you try them, please let us know which and what you thought, we'd love to hear what you think :)
sticky toffee pudding marks and spencer make a good one
HI Jason, we've had some delicious items from M&S. I'm sure we would like the sticky toffee pudding.
The apple's in the U.K. are bramly apple's for makeing puddings .thay help cut throw the richness of the pudding ,or the sweatnes. A nothere good vlog as normal. Take care and all the best. 😊😊👍👍👍🐶
Thank you! We thought it could be Bramley. We've never seen them here.
Love great vid I love sticky toffee pudding my fave however love lemon and the syrup one also 💯💯😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️
Hi Maxine, agree with you on the sticky toffee pudding!
the best thing to have with a🥧🥧🥧🥧 sticky toffee pudd is another one
Hi John! Anytime is a good time for sticky toffee pudd :D After trying them, our only regret is not seeing them on a dessert menu in our usual restaurants. Maybe the closest substitute, and I not it's not a real comparison, would maybe be a heated choco brownie, chocolate sauce with a scoop of ice cream on the side. Hope you're having a great Wednesday!
I second this emotion.
@@FinnLovesFood Truthfully the best company for toffee pudd is hot sticky toffee sauce and a big blob of vanilla iced cream SSLLURRPPPP , look forward to seeing your next film , take care
Village shop of Cartmel in south of Lake District, where these delicious puddings are sold, can get odd ones in Booths supermarkets. Makes nice day out to lake district buy puddings to definitely add visit to village shop on your list places to do.
Glad you liked them nice without custard the ginger & toffee one sause on its own very exuberant 😋😋
So if u 2 had Pick ultimate flavour out 2 taste videos combined which would it be??
Just looked on line and sticky toffee is available at my Waitrose… ohhhhhhh………*happy sticky toffee pudding dance* 😄😄 when I do my occasional Waitrose online shopperooo - ticking that box! 🤩
Hi Richard, we have a hard time picking just one! For Ross it's a toss up between lemon and chocolate and for me it's between ginger and sticky toffee. Of course we both really liked the banana too! 🙂Do you have a favorite?
@@weedle30 bet you will love it!
I'm pretty sure Cartmel used to be in Lancashire ( God's county ) before the boundary changes in the 1970's , i've been to the racecourse a few times over the decades as well
@@johnhankinson1929 yes nice day out John at time been nice place go and watch flat horse racing on green in village
I'm not one for sweet things although I do like ginger cake and ginger bread, I think it's the sticky toffee bit that puts me off, I used to eat apple pies and other fruit pies when I was younger but not since I left home many years ago, if you want to borrow a spoon 😅
Hi Michael! Love the ginger products - the ones we were lucky enough to try and ones we're used to having around Christmas-time in our usual stores, the stronger the better :) The stucky toffee is just too sweet, the texture, that puts you off? A little of both? Had to look up the borrow a spoon reference :) Hope you're having a great Wednesday!
get over your fear , you'll not regret it
hi they all looked nice you should try and make bread and butter pudding thats a old british pudding😄
This old Britain agrees Bread and Butter pudding is lovely.
We've heard of bread pudding. Is this different?
@FinnLovesFood Yeah it has no Butter ?
Part2 secret taste gobbling 2nds of video 1, 😋😋 this banana taste is your proper part 3😂
We somehow missed the sticky figgy pudding. Must be buried in the freezer! Can't wait to try the Cartmel fudge too.

We're not familiar with that brand. Where do you find it?
Did you notice that your thumbnail looks like you have a big white beard? 😀
Hi Margaret, Happy Wednesday! You got me! Now I can't help but see a bird each time I look at the thumbnail! :) Happy Wednesday and thank you for watching :)
