They probably didn't plan on it, but this is basically the perfect PNW/BC winter fishing jacket. Warm when damp and able to shed heat without fussing with waders or packs.
havent tried it that low, ive gotten it to 15 and been plenty warm with just a base layer. There is something special with the alpaca insulation to be way warmer then down given the same weight of insulation.
what do you think of Alpaca as a insulation for a jacket? Will this be the new go to insulation?

Great point. I think it would be great for it.
I don’t have their jacket but have a couple sweaters and socks. They are fantastic!
I have the hoodie you have on and a pair of the paka socks and love them both. I can’t wait to get the jacket and try it out.
Awesome! I do really like the hoodie. So soft. Socks are pretty great too. Will have a review on them coming soon.
Very interesting thumbnail holes. Don’t think I’ve seen that before on a jacket.
Yeah it’s pretty unique but comfy and warm
27 oz keep you warm in minus 15 Fahrenheit with just a base laser ????
