Quarantine Duets - Ep. #2 - "You Ain't Going Nowhere"

I've known Brian "Honey" Bunn since about 1999 or so when he was a fledgling young guitar prodigy in Blacksburg, VA. He's since gone on to accomplish feats in the music industry that I could only dream of. Now a fixture of the Nashville scene as an influential songwriter, producer and engineer, Brian is also a master of just about any instrument he decides to pick up. It's an honor to call him a friend, and I've learned so much about music from this cat. We are both big fans of the "Sweetheart Of The Rodeo" album, so we decided to take a stab at this Bob Dylan penned Byrds classic. (Not to mention the title sums up our collective reality for the next couple months.) Bunn's pedal steel part was so good, I couldn't resist adding some other instruments! So, not really a "duet" in the strictest sense, we hope you enjoy it nonetheless. This is a pretty raw recording folks. No auto tune, no click track, no studio tricks of any kind, so extend a little grace. Be well everyone.

Thanks for introducing me to this album. I did not know that I did not know. I now have a whole new appreciation of "country" music; and the Byrds. Interesting how so many great songs are one or two degrees from Bob Dylan.
