Fellow Tyler here. You NEED to watch and review Tim Henson's feature in the new Marcin song "Classical Dragon." The whole song is great, but Tim's part will blow your mind.
The kid/his mentor is absolutely a Jason Richardson fan! You can immediately tell by the way he plays his arpeggios (doesn’t flatten/stack notes/roll the finger) and mutes with both hands (picking hand is identical!). I used to be really good at sweep picking (still am but definitely not at these speeds anymore!) so gonna use that kids exercise to improve my speed and muting while playing on a clean tone! Kids like him and Lisa-X (no longer a kid) are so inspiring!
as much as it hurts me ( still trying not to struggle with stairway to heaven) I can enjoy this talent. What i like most about this kid is his smile..he is not making fun of us, he's just happy.
He is Remarkable. He is quite aware of what to do with that fretboard. Great stuff. I was a prodigy but I only played in restaurants and lounges this guy will be in big lights.
That short riff started to sound familiar. Someone help me out here. Anyway, why would someone be hating on this kid. As a metalhead myself, I was blown away. Kid's got the fingers of Yngwie Malmsteen!
Fuck it, I’m quitting the guitar! I started playing in high school back in 94’ and within about a year I was at the level of Mike McCready I would say but then everything just fucking stopped. It was so frustrating and I felt like I was just banging my head against the wall for years trying to escape my guitar purgatory. Anyone else gone through that?
Well said. The best comment on this video. The most ridiculous comment is "Makes me want to give up" None of the most successful guitarists in history ever played as fast as this. Should they have given up? Music is'nt an olympic sport.
I think , like the way babies learn to talk and language, I think that maybe the boy learns the guitar the same way, so when he hears a note , he knows exactly where it's playd at on the neck so when he hears a lick/song he instinctively knows how the sequence and where it's playd , and his memory, ill bet is off the charts
People are like “eh not impressive you have to play with feel” bruh go look at all his other videos before you say something like that. This kid has so much range in his ability
When I first saw this kid I thought “ this is AI generated, there’s no way a little kid can play like that”. After seeing more of his videos the reality is...he’s for real! Just mind blowing. Bravo young man!

I saw this kid and another very young Asian girl one night while browsing RUclips. It made me want to pile up my collection of 200 + guitars in my yard and start a huge bonfire! When I learned guitar (self taught) back in the early 70s this style really didn't exist and I was pretty good for someone that never took lessons or could read music. In my mid to late teens people thought I was pretty good and later in my 20s I could rip on guitar and I was pretty good with the tapping after studying Van Halen but that was considered the thing. After many years of not playing and selling off my first guitar collection didn't help. I got back into when my son showed interest in the 90s. I started playing and I was bad and not playing for 12 years really made me regret not sticking with it! Of course I can hold my own for the classic rock stuff but the newer techniques sweeping etc I just can't seem to get the hang of it. These kids are so good at 5 or 6 years old imagine they will be the next guitar Gods when they can start playing in bands. I was so bad after giving it up for so long I sent my son for guitar lessons and sat in so I might learn something new. He's 36 and pretty good but he's still not there yet. I wish he would have taken it more seriously when he was 11 or 12.
This style very much DID exist in the 70s. Been around since like before the 1670s. It's called Baroque, and also Classical. It just wasn't as common or popular as it is now. 😊
Awesome prodigy! The analysis was helpful except there was constant uncertainty whether a 7th was being used. The fingerings seems like triads, but the dialog and chords implied 7ths.
I first saw 7 year old Suzuki Method violinists play with professional symphonies at least 20 years ago, but this is the first time I've seen a very young person achieve something similar on a guitar. I know what AI can do and I wondered if this was AI. But he's the real deal. Check out his channel. He has improv chops, and he has the soul of those rare young singers I've seen on The Voice. Shawn Lane would be proud. China is a terrible place for a child to live. Their education system will beat down even the brightest and steal their love for life in service of The Great State. Or whatever. I really hope that his dad is in a position of power that will enable this young person to continue developing his talent. He is one in 100 million, and he deserves to spend his life doing what he was born to do.
Thank you! This was the same thing i also thought! That is the real impressive part, is the ability at this age with his small hands and lesser hand strength!
My first experience with him was his cover of For The Love Of God, Steve Vai. I really had no words to describe the feeling when I realized he wasn't faking any of it other than wondering out loud what planet he is from.

To get to that level it took me 6 band break ups, got back together 6 times, we went through 12 drummers, the farewell tour is on its tenth year, 8 farewell albums, 5 sex tapes, 3 therapists, a highly publicized affair with my sex therapist, 4 marriages, 4 divorces, 20 supermodel girlfriends, 8 kids I know of, 7 don’t talk to me, can’t find the other one after I realized I can’t remember the 70’s, the bass player came out, the bass player changed pronouns 126 times, swapped the bourbon on stage to tea then swapped it back again, gave up smoking 6 times rehab 11 times, gave up on going to rehab alcohol, smoking and drugs are cheaper, feel asleep on stage 8 times, feel off the stage 8 times, 12 signature guitars from 12 different companies but only play my vintage stuff, got fat, got fatter, went bald, starting wearing wigs, getting plastic surgery before plastic was invented, can’t recognize myself in my RUclips Parodies, can’t remember if I turn the oven off, our reality show flopped after they found out we were miming, my last wife changed to a male activist, started a talk back show for misunderstood sound engineers, 3 fund me campaigns for tambourine players, drummers that sing and that dude that runs out to tighten up the mic stand. Now we are all broke because some TikTok dancer brought all the rights to our music.
Yeah wishing that kid all the best from the bottom of my heart. Hang on had a heart transplant as well, so all the best kid from who ever I am.
Me too!
as if you could ever do that ... EVER
I love how positive you are about this kid! Too much people hate this and say it's fake. Big respect for you and a little dude
He's got a lot of talent. I just stumbled on his channel. Left him a couple of suggestions to help him grow.
Tyler's side eye and the kid's smile are worrh it.
You are win bruddah. I love your sense of humor as much as your musical chops
This was an awesome breakdown and commentary on this.
Does the classical guitar fingerboard have to be so wide? I'am a senior male and have small hands, and it's a definite disadvantage.
Asian parents are very nurturing. When i was 8 i asked my father for a guitar and he just waved his hand in my face.
This little fella is something else. I don't think I could ever sweep pick, even if I try. He's an amazing young man.
as much as it hurts me ( still trying not to struggle with stairway to heaven) I can enjoy this talent.
What i like most about this kid is his smile..he is not making fun of us, he's just happy.
Keep that boy safe next generation needs to hear a prodigy...Congratulations,next generstions!!😮😅❤🎉❤🎉🌹🤎🤝!!
Excellence takes talent and hard work. This kid deserves what he creates. Keep it going.
He is Remarkable. He is quite aware of what to do with that fretboard. Great stuff. I was a prodigy but I only played in restaurants and lounges this guy will be in big lights.
Love the fact you’re always positive man… regardless of musician. Bravo
Amazing little guy, and you've gotta love that smile. Great work, lad!
Okay, I've got 20 guitars and 7 amps all going cheap, I won't be needing them anymore.
I messaged this kid and his dad on their channel a few months back, a nicer and more genuine family would be hard to find, his talent is immense.
That short riff started to sound familiar. Someone help me out here. Anyway, why would someone be hating on this kid. As a metalhead myself, I was blown away. Kid's got the fingers of Yngwie Malmsteen!
Love your content Tyler!
Amazing!
How old is Marcin?
He seems like one of the greatest players I've seen.
Nothing makes me want to quit guitar, I like having fun with my guitar and it makes me happy. :)
Yes This!
My guitar fell on me while watching this. I think it's mad.
I'd like to see him play the riff in Washington Is Next; the one where you stretch from fret 12 to 24, while doing continuous hammer ons/pull offs.
Respect to the parent/guardian's who support their child's interest.
Tyler creates AI child prodigy video breakdown to give himself a 👍 for Guitar Super System. Seriously love the channel and all you do brother!
When I first saw this kid I thought “ this is AI generated, there’s no way a little kid can play like that”. After seeing more of his videos the reality is...he’s for real! Just mind blowing. Bravo young man!
I follow this little dude. He does a Jason becker tribute that will blow your mind, while i might add, goofing with a friend during the whole song, a must see!
That's amazing I did feel a little pressure but I got to keep on practicing ,his mind is just open, I think and try to hard we have to unlearn bad habits he has none fresh mind. GOD BLESS HIM
Where’s the link to the original video?
Bro he’s very talented boy, humble he doesn’t even know how brilliant he is man..amazing😊😊😊
Keep the content coming my guy
This little dude sounds really good, and he's having fun, good on him.
❤❤❤❤❤thank you very much❤❤❤
thank you for getting straight to the video 👏
Awesome prodigy! The analysis was helpful except there was constant uncertainty whether a 7th was being used. The fingerings seems like triads, but the dialog and chords implied 7ths.
GUITAR IS NOT A COMPETITION. This kid already won forever.
Remarkable young man❤ He'll go far....
That low tempo remix, tho! Loved it! :D
Bold of you to assume I know my shapes sir 😤
After 40 years of playing and playing in many bands, I'm hanging up the axe. Its clearly I'm still at the beginner level.
That kid is awesome. I love it. I hope I see this kid do something great in music in the next 15 years.
4:15 great beat bruh!!
I wonder if there's ever been a prodigy like this that was like so good and then he was just like no it's not for me and just walked away
This kid is actually born to play guitar very genius God Gifted keep it up quite amazing !
He looks happy. I hope he continues to get that feeling.
I just can’t believe he can have that hand strength and precision at that age!
Thank you! This was the same thing i also thought! That is the real impressive part, is the ability at this age with his small hands and lesser hand strength!
Unbelievable. So fast and clean. Rusty Cooley in a child body.
I recently was a video of him jamin the blues. He's good this boy.
My first experience with him was his cover of For The Love Of God, Steve Vai. I really had no words to describe the feeling when I realized he wasn't faking any of it other than wondering out loud what planet he is from.
