I cleaned all the oil off it and still didn't drive so I changed the profile plunger and it fixed it. Also did the return springs on my high mileage gun
Hello there, I have a Dcn692 with a flashing stall light will not even spin up. I took it apart all springs ok. I'm wondering if the solenoid is no good? Do you know the open, close residence?
@@joshspagnola4880 The spin up is activated via a micro switch connected to the nose of the nailer make sure that is being activated take the side off put in the battery activate the switch manually to see if it works.
@@doctorlefthandthread also the track the striker runs on. Mine had a very thin film of sawdust gunk everywhere that was barely noticable but a thorough internal clean sorted it
I have the same nail gun, unfortunately it drives the nails only two inches in if using 3 inch nails. I have only run maybe 1500 nails thru it in 5 years

Great to hear good job
2:10 I don’t see any wear, that’s just surface coating being removed. It’s normal.
Thanks for your comment
I might need to get me a cordless nailer but I need one for 16 penny nails. Maybe the metabo hpt duplex 😍😍😍
I don't know the model but I would guess it would be a decent machine

Try it to see if it spins up with the back off springs and driver removed
@@doctorlefthandthread it does not spin up with the back assembly off. As soon as you pull the trigger the light starts flashing.

@@doctorlefthandthread The Switch seams to be working correctly, the flashing stall light comes on once the nose is pressed and trigger is pulled.
Make sure the flywheel is spotlessly clean
Thanks For the advice That will feature on part 2

That sucks the mechanism shouldn't even be worn at 1500 check out part 2 I do get this one fixed
It’s now driving most of the nails in after cleaning it. Sometimes I do still have to hammer the nails in a little.
I'm in the same boat.
There is a part 2 it may help ruclips.net/video/y0OsRC3uz1Q/видео.html
Hopefully the lady doesn't get too angry about you fixing on her nice table. All that hard work for an unhappy ending. 😬
Watch Part 2

Good try!
Thanks! I haven't given up there are a few more options
Piece of crap. That's what's wrong with it. Mine's barely used and doesn't set all the way flush
