Great info man...I will go right back to this video when I get my trail boss...you never disappoint with the videos...always great tips...Thanks for sharing....and again great truck
The auto start stop on my 2024 LTZ has never worked properly. I never mess with turning it off because 99 out of 100 times it doesn't work anyway. Gotta love it!
I’d like to change by 2022 Silverado into a Ford or Dodge. Nothing but problems with my truck at 6700 miles. Repeated check engine lights, service ESC, Traction control failure, forward collision avoidance light, cylinder 7 misfire, power steering code. Ridiculous!
I am looking for the feature that my car will stay started running longer as it is sitting still, my last Silverado would stay starting 1 hour with a remote in the car now it can only stay started for 15 minutes I needed to stay started longer
I have not used apple carplay. For android auto, I can only see/read new message received once bluetooth has connected. Older message do not show up so I cannot re-read anything I received before getting in the truck and connecting to android auto.
The owners manual (which you can find online) has a bulb replacement section and it mentions the Front Turn Signal. I have not tried to change that bulb so I don't have any experience.
My truck came in without the rear park assist as well. Does your button at least work for the front park assist, because mine does not. Also my blind zone lights on the mirrors are not working as well. Not sure if that has to do with the rear park assist?
My park assist button does not work either. I guess that means I don't have front or rear park assist until I get the retrofit. My blind zone lights do work so those are not tied to the park assist not working.
Did you have issues with heavy static yet on your speakers from the infotainment system? Also how is your response time moving through features. Seems so slow to me
I have not experienced any static issues. I find the system reasonably responsive. I have had some issues with Spotify stopping when used through Android Auto.
I have a 22 trail boss as well, Refreshed version the one setting the driver assistance where you can turn it off as well. I drove without it the other day and it seemed a lot better because it doesn't pull you back into the lane but I do like driving with it cause it gets you in habit of driving straight but I was just curious. If it mattered if you turned it on or off while you are actually driving and how do you like driving yours with it on or off?
So I have a 2022 LTZ and my one touch all windows automatic down button stopped working. I now have to hold it down the whole time. Any idea how to reset??
How did you get your camera icon on the left side of the screen? Do you drag it from the icon page ? I've been working so much I really haven't had time to play with it. I did turn off that dang key fob horn blow crap.. That is annoying.
This is the one feature I clicked on the video for. I looked all over the settings to find a way to change the left bar. Thank you for covering it here.
@@thedroesslers Have had the same issue. Never does it when I'm at the dealership. Does it on all sources. I though maybe it could be a wire or something to that effect.
@@rickvalentine9364 no problems towing my travel trailer.. however, my radio started randomly turning its volume wide open. Super annoying. When it happens the radio power button does not even work. The only way to turn the radio volume back down is by stopping on the side of the road, cutting off the truck and restarting.
On the music app, there is a small gear plus music note button/icon in the top right. Clicking that will get you to different sound settings like base and treble.
I looked through the settings on the truck and I don't see anything related to this. If you are playing music through your phone, perhaps that app has a setting.
How is your new silverado been working so far??? I'm about to order a new trail boss but I've been reading lots and lots of bad comments about the refreshed silverados, engine, and audio problems
As an owner of two new 2023 Silverados my advice is buy a ford. The Theatertronics systems are junk. Both mine only have a radio half the time. Dealer can’t fix them either. Drops calls. 10 pop ups before the radios even work then take a few minutes to give you sound if the sound decides to work. Buy it and your stuck with it.
The controls for the heated seats are on the center stack near the other heating and cooling controls. Mine has a button for just the back and a button for both the back and bottom of the seat. I hope that helps.
Chevy has completely left me. Die hard chevy guy and have prob owned 125 chevy products. Have a newer truck, and hate it. To much electronic unnecessary bullshit, not really a truck anymore. They've ruined the corvette,in my opinion. They're gonna drop the camaro. Gonna drop the 5.3 engines in all vehicles. Wanted to get a work truck but only comes w a 4 cylinder engine in a full size vehicle so I just bought a toyota tacome. May as well get a little truck if I'm gonna have a little engine.
What are you even talking about. Even the 2024 silverados come with a 5.3 or a 6.2l. If you can’t afford a real truck just say that dude because the V8’s aren’t going anywhere
If you will check the short bed regular cab chevy truck is only available with the 4 cyl engine. And the rumor is the 5.3 is going to be dropped in the future leaving the 6.0 as the only gas V8 engine.
I have a 2019 RST, if I leave my fob in the truck and get out, shut the door : when I get back in the DIC displays "key fob left in vehicle" along with a bunch of ding, ding, dings. Any way to get rid of that?
Mine is a 2024 and same features. I thought I had been through all the menus. You did a great job and taught me a couple things. Thanks!
Wish they would have used my Stop/Start chip and DFM chip for useful items like heated seats and other missing items on my truck.
I have been fighting the seat belt to drive function - thank you!!!
Great info man...I will go right back to this video when I get my trail boss...you never disappoint with the videos...always great tips...Thanks for sharing....and again great truck
Thanks for this video. Some helpful tips I didn't know for my 22 RST.
I pick up my trail boss next Monday. Those are some good entry tips I'll use.
theres an aftermarket switch fix for the auto start stop defaults it to off. no issues.
The auto start stop on my 2024 LTZ has never worked properly. I never mess with turning it off because 99 out of 100 times it doesn't work anyway. Gotta love it!
Thanks for the tidbits of info!! Keep doing, I learn something new every time!
Driving in L9 instead of D will deactivate the auto shut off and the DFM so you will be in V8 all of the time. I have noticed zero loss of mpg also.
Thanks again! Just used this info!!

Take the truck back to the dealership and tell them you need to trade it for another truck or contact a lawyer to have them utilize the lemon law .
I am looking for the feature that my car will stay started running longer as it is sitting still, my last Silverado would stay starting 1 hour with a remote in the car now it can only stay started for 15 minutes I needed to stay started longer
I like listening to loud music with bass. Why does it sound like crap when the bass hits and lowers the treble / vocals??
Not sure. Have you tried changing any of the audio settings? ruclips.net/user/shortsTNV2Dpzd2fw
Mine does this too, it sucks. But seems you have to spend a gazillion dollars of biden’s Monopoly money to fix it..
Great video.. I can't seem to reread text messages with or without apple carplay. If carplay is turned off is there somewhere text messages are stored
I have not used apple carplay. For android auto, I can only see/read new message received once bluetooth has connected. Older message do not show up so I cannot re-read anything I received before getting in the truck and connecting to android auto.
Can you plz tell me where the 2023 chev Lt Trl Boss front blinker bulb is... trying to change to led
The owners manual (which you can find online) has a bulb replacement section and it mentions the Front Turn Signal. I have not tried to change that bulb so I don't have any experience.
With Waze on Android Auto, is there a way to actually have the arrow centered on the screen and not offset to the right side?
I have not tried Waze, but I feel like even using google navigation through android auto offsets my position on the map to the right side.
@thedroesslers I just checked Google, and it's the same as Waze. I find it to be a little annoying.
My wireless CarPlay stopped working after few months I already reset everything but nothing works any of you have the same issue? Help please!
About to place my order! RIP Lol
My Chevy Silverado has a 1 to 2 second delay when using CarPlay and my phone. It’s maddening.

Why the ac blow high when i start my truck via remote start?
Mine does the same thing. I looked through the vehicle settings and the only thing I could find to control via remote start were the seat warmers.
@@thedroesslers its kind of annoying. my vehicle settings is empty
I have a 22 trail boss as well, Refreshed version the one setting the driver assistance where you can turn it off as well. I drive with lane assist off. I have tried it a couple times, but it didn't seem to help much at least on the roads I regularly drive.
So I have a 2022 LTZ and my one touch all windows automatic down button stopped working. I now have to hold it down the whole time. Any idea how to reset??
No idea. It should still be under warranty. It might be worth reaching out to your dealer.
How did you get your camera icon on the left side of the screen? Do you drag it from the icon page ? I've been working so much I really haven't had time to play with it. I did turn off that dang key fob horn blow crap.. That is annoying.
Yep, exactly.
I figured it out.
This is the one feature I clicked on the video for. I looked all over the settings to find a way to change the left bar. Thank you for covering it here.
How do you turn off the car!??
Once you shift into park, you just press the starter button.
Any idea how to show what gear you’re in without manually going through the gears. Thanks
I do not know and I don't remember seeing any settings related to that.
I just got my 2022 silverado and I started to get static as I turn up the volume do you know why does it do that ?
No, but I would suggest testing different sources (AM/FM, Sirius XM, Spotify, Bluetooth) to see if all are affected.
I did and it done the same thing I seen another video about them having the same problem
It should be covered under the standard warranty. I would take it back soon.
@@thedroesslers Have had the same issue. Never does it when I'm at the dealership. Does it on all sources. I though maybe it could be a wire or something to that effect.
There is a service bulletin for this.
Is there a way we can get satellite view on google maps
I know you can with Android Auto. In the bottom left, there is a settings gear. Tap that and then there is a toggle for Satellite.
Can you get rid of that silver truck on gauge screen?
Yes. I am finishing up my next video which is on the digital cluster. It is very customizable.
@@thedroesslers It would be ok if it was the color of you truck, but it's not. Pretty annoying. You can change everything though.
Yes.
Have you ever had problems towing a trailer? Specifically the lights? Mine won't power the lights
@@rickvalentine9364 no problems towing my travel trailer.. however, my radio started randomly turning its volume wide open. Super annoying. When it happens the radio power button does not even work. How do you change the bass and treble in this truck? Lol I just bought a ZR2 Silverado
On the music app, there is a small gear plus music note button/icon in the top right. Clicking that will get you to different sound settings like base and treble.
How do you turn off the audio volume control?? Everytime I press the gas my music get louder
I looked through the settings on the truck and I don't see anything related to this. If you are playing music through your phone, perhaps that app has a setting.
Did you do a video on the mirror operation?
Nope. Thanks for the suggestion.
How is your new silverado been working so far??? I'm about to order a new trail boss but I've been reading lots and lots of bad comments about the refreshed silverados, engine, and audio problems
Just hit 3000 miles. I have not had any problems with this truck. I'm still loving it.

how to turn on the heated seats please?
The controls for the heated seats are on the center stack near the other heating and cooling controls. Mine has a button for just the back and a button for both the back and bottom of the seat. I hope that helps.
Pretty self explanatory
Thank You, they weren’t turning on because it was a recall issue, but they do work fine now, thanks

No matter the max startup I set it to, the volume is the loudest setting possible nearly every time. Anyone else have that issue. EV BLAZER for me.
Apple car play half screen is awful. Needs a massive update. Disgrace to the big new screen.
That's too bad. I have only used android auto and it looks and works great.
I have a 2019 RST, if I leave my fob in the truck and get out, shut the door : when I get back in the DIC displays "key fob left in vehicle" along with a bunch of ding, ding, dings. Any way to get rid of that?
I do not. All three of my chevy vehicles do this.
