- Here is my take on the latest Nike lifter the savaleos. Cheaper, lighter and sleeker than anything Nike has previously produced.
See how it stacks up next to Nikes previous models and the Nike metcon.

I have some and I love them thanks for another great video
Super helpful review! Thanks Sonny
Thank you so much mate for your review
I’m having a wide feet
But will give it a try .
So these are the key to improving my snatch 😁?
Lifters with the spurs on the back🤠🐎🙋
Are they good for squat lowbars or powerlifting?
i dont wanna be a hater! but the evolution of nike weightlightlifting shoes stops at Romaleos 2, the version 2 is the best weightlifting shoes ever made in my opinion. todays market on weightlifting shoes they are trying to combine weightlifting and crossfitting in one shoe. it would be fun to see Nike design and produce a romaleos 2 version again
Sonny, you’re starting to get that Aussie accent haha
What? Never heard him not sound australian
I just got them on clearance on Scheels for $70 looks like a good quality shoes but the tips are too narrow i have wide feet and feel someone is squeezing my toes (and yes i went Half size up there is a little space left before by toes touch the top)
Did u return it or will it widen up after wearing naturally? Have the same problem with wide feed, lenght is ok but too narrow, what about going one half size more up?
@@mr.tonkabean5829 I still have them and they don't widen up... I keep them on my gym bag and only use them for heavy lifting like deadlifts and squats. If I use them for 1 hour or less the tightness is berable
Heyyy! How does the sizing compare to rom 4s do they run the same?
They run the same!
Hi! I’ve got metcons for crossfit and I’d like to improve my wf skills (I now do c&j at 110kg to give you an idea). In my case, should I go for Savaleos or Romaleos 4? Thank you so much
Rom 4's definitely if it is for weightlifting only
Toshiki senpai approves of this shoe!
Lol he wears metcons for snatches
Id take what he says with a pinch of salt
@@getstrongby4038 if you watch Toshiki’s Olympic prep in his channel, he wears Savaleos exclusively when he’s snatching now
@@ShinSuperSaiyajin oh yeah i hear you, I'm just saying he does a lot of things that most others don't
Great shoe but it's stuff out the box so it'll take a couple of sessions to break in. Can't beat the price. I've done HIIT workouts with the shoe and they don't feel as heavy as my Reebok Nano X. Overall, I'm happy.
you did a HIIT in heeled shoes? why?
@@matthewcranfield4638 it was more of a hybrid. Strength and lateral moves and box jumps.
Honestly they reacted very well and didn't feel too heavy.
@@Xavier.Phoenix cool thanks
Do you even skate Sonny
Can we use it for running as well
No
Romaleo 4s or savaleos?
Romeos
Savaleos better than Romaleos. They are more comfortable and there is no heel lift like on the Romaleos.
They look way too flexible imo
Why do they always make these decepticon looking shoes? Some people just want a basic looking shoe with a elevated stable heel
Powerlift 5
Now matter how big of a brand Nike becomes... You're always gonna have a bunch of ppl who still call them Naik... why is that?....
different accents bro 😂
Because the American pronunciation doesn't make any sense. "Nike" is the name of the goddess of victory in ancient Greek mythology, and correct pronunciation should be Ni-Kay in Greek. Proper English pronunciation should be Naik. American pronunciation is a bastardized version of both
@@precursors even though you are correct about the Greek pronunciation, in this case, it’s pronounced how the company executives deem it to be bc it’s their brand first and foremost.
@@slashnagy6 Well then company executives can't make up a pronunciation and claim it to be the original pronunciation of a foreign word, if it's just a "brand" they created.
@@precursors For their brand, they can do whatever they want; they never claimed it to be the original pronunciation and any examples of such are simply hearsay (ONLY for this brand it is the original pronunciation). If I started a brand and named it “Hi” for example, I could say it is pronounced “hee” because it’s my brand.
