    READ MY REVIEW: thatfitfriend.com/nike-savale...
The Nike Savaleos are the latest weightlifting shoe being brought to market by Nike. This model seems to be a spin-off from the popular Nike Romaleos weightlifting shoe line.
Overall, the Nike Savaleos feel very different from the other Nike weightlifting shoes you've likely tried. At a price point of $120 USD, this model is definitely intriguing and for good reason.
In this Nike Savaleos review, I cover a variety of topics including:
    0:00 Nike Savaleos Pros
    1:20 Nike Savaleos Cons
    3:34 Performance
    5:22 Are they worth it?
    6:06 Sizing and Fit
    6:47 Price
    7:18 Construction
    9:44 Takeaway Thoughts
Overall, I think this model is a pretty good beginner and entry-level weightlifting shoe. It's not as solid as other Nike Romaleos models, but for the price, I feel like that's kind of expected.
Nike made this model to be a bit more versatile in nature, which I get and can see, but I do think they missed the mark with that in a few areas of this model's construction.
I'm really curious to see how the durability of this model does over the next few months. Personally, I think this model is hit or miss and it really depends on what you plan to use it for to get the most band for your buck.
For anyone looking for a super budget-friendly weightlifting shoe that they can beat up, then I think the Nike Savaleos could be a good call.

I am a semi-serious weightlifter looking at these in hopes that they will improve my squat form. Right now I have to put plates under my heels to hit any depth and have good form, and I hope these can help. I squat in the 135-250 pound range throughout the workout and don't see myself getting much heavier in the future. I am about 6'2 with long femur and proportions that make it difficult to get low. How would you rate these in order of addressing this specific problem/goal?

I bought these a half size up (10.5 to 11) but I’m honestly not sure how snug weightlifting shoes should be.. These are a snug fit but I’m not sure if they’re too small or it’s just because they’re so narrow.. I don’t want to waste time returning them if it’s not gonna make that big a difference? Thoughts? Should weightlifting shoes be snug or have room like running shoes?

    • @thatfitfriend
      @thatfitfriend  3 года назад +2

Thank you for sharing size feedback - it’s so clutch to get multiple takes for how shoes fit on these reviews. And these do fit super narrow, I have “narrowish” feet and felt these were really tight, too.
That being said, I’d say use the comfort test. Try them out in movements you plan to use them in and if they’re not unbearable, then I think you’ll be fine. Imo, you don’t want a ton of room in lifters, but at the same time, you don’t want to feel like you’re crunching the toes or in pain every time you’re catching weight/squatting/etc.! Hope that helps!

@@xl33 cringe af. And nah, your comment is just f*cking moronic and doesn’t even make sense
Can I squat to depth? Yeah, but what’s the point of the ask? Are we talking at all thresholds? Different thresholds? What type of squat? Who’s standardizing the depth? These are more productive asks. You’re just parroting whatever bias the internet has told you to believe 🤷🏼‍♂️

@@thatfitfriend man it‘s obvious you can‘t squatting to depth if your reply looks like this. And if you don‘t because you think its healthier for your knees, then you need to read a bit more. But the question was about the salaveos if your able to squat to depth or you limit it because your one of those occultist who believe instead of know thats all I wanted to know 😂
