There seems to be loads of people with P0299 on the vauxhall 1.6 diesels on different forums. From what i have read, most people have fixed this problem, by replacing the Wastegate acutator vacuum valve. It's a plastic part sitting on the right side of the engine, with 2 plastic hoses and an electrical connector going to it. This is mainly, if you get the error code, but you don't see any obvious problems like split piping like in this vide.
I am receiving error code P0299 in my 2020 1.6 Diesel Opel Insignia vehicle. I can't solve it. Turbo was overhauled, Particle filter was overhauled. Turbo hose changed. But the problem did not go away? Maf sensor and egr valve changed. Please can you help me
@@mickjohnsgarageservices1955 We just cleaned the MAP sensor. But I didn't change it. We visually checked the manifold and could not observe any cracks.
Hi! Please, can you tell me where is located that sensor? Thanks
Propably too late for, but maybe for the next one: inlet manifold!
Hi, did you manage to sort out the problem and what was the outcome as I am having the exact issues…..would appreciate for some feedback!!
Is your exhaust manifold broken like this one.

Have you replace the MAP sensor and checked the exhaust manifold
