i kinda dislike that they didin't really show her real feelings she found same-sex attraction that she considered sinful, made her unhappy. but they show her being all for it i think if they made her kinda struggle with it that be more accurate then saying fuck it lets go after all she was wayyyyy more complexs person then this
She was way more complex in a lot of ways. Like, she was an early feminist who had writings about women's equal rights but in the court she had to hide this about herself to fit in and please her husband.
Well, this is a tv series about Maria Theresa, not Maria Christina or Isabella, so they don't show things in many details that are not directly related to Maria Theresa. Considering that, what we get from this relationship is already a lot.

I don think he ever caught on, but I think he would have felt hurt that his wife possibly loved his sister instead of him.
I think he never truly knew it, or at least he was subconsciously blind to it. Otherwise he would have been very hurt and jealous. He loved his wife and cared for her so much. He was even with her during labor, which was very extreme back then.

In real life this is debated if happend or not however the two sisters in law were extreamly close and bonded that is known

I wonder how accurate this is in full .I do know, this story about Isabella of Parma and Maria Christina story, but i remember Isabella of Parma had evidence of these feelings and attachment to Maria Christina, but on Maria Christina part i don't remember any evidence in part from her side of any type of romantic love really.Also,i do think it is good to not be anachronistic and how Isabella of Parma would really feel after all people in this era were quite religious, to varying extents so,i do believe Isabella of Parma would have perhaps felt conflicted in her feelings also because she is married and Maria Christina i don't remember there being much evidence of her feelings towards Isabella of Parma to be romantic,

@@Lily1127channel Ohh i see .Thanks for informing me about this.Cause,i remember that Maria Christina on the other hand compared to Isabella of Parma was much more reluctant and far more secretive about the affair. she did have affection for Isabella . I don't believe any letters by Maria Christina survived, apart from a character description of Isabella.But,i remember she was devastated by Isabella's death.
