    As someone whose grown up in the Seattle area since the 70s as a child, I had no idea about these horrid orca captures. Who allowed that? Beyond disgusting. I feel so sorry for the orcas and their babies. Even more sorry for the people doing the capturing. No heart in them. That's what happens when you make money your prime objective in life. You lose life. You become a cold, lifeless automaton. I hope they find some redemption someday. I pray for this orca and see her home with the Lummi, where she belongs. I look forward to going out there personally to see her when she arrives. I can hear her now.

    • @CleverClover2023
      @CleverClover2023 2 года назад +1

      SeaWorld was the company who paid whale hunters to capture those babies and hide the ones who died during the kidnapping.

    • @elliottlytle
      @elliottlytle 2 года назад

      @@CleverClover2023 It’s unfathomable a company like Seaworld is allowed to do business. Pure evil. They ought to be shut down, liquidated and any leftover money go to orca conservation for what they’ve done.

      Do you also feel sad for all the fish, clams, and oysters on supermarket shelves?

    • @elliottlytle
      @elliottlytle Год назад +3

      @@LeDoctoer A little bit, but the empathy goes up as the consciousness and awareness goes up of the other being. Whales and dolphins not only have similar brain types to humans, but the latest scientific research has shown the emotional and social areas of the brain are larger and more highly developed than humans. It is the nature of these beings to connect, communicate and live and roam thousands of miles per year with their families. To put one in a tiny tank for profit shows an extreme lack of understanding of them and a cruel and unfeeling nature to the one imprisoning them. I can see and feel from your words you don’t pick up on communication from non-human beings. You have not spent much time around them, and for the time you have spent, you don’t listen to them. They communicate. Orcas have an amazing language and distinct dialogues among their pods. I hear them, and so do many others whose hearts are open and haven’t disconnected from the life around them. I don’t know where you got disconnected from life and had your heart cut off, but I pray someday it opens again, not for my sake but for yours. You’ve cut off the best part of yourself, for what? Money? Approval? I hope someday you rediscover your true and higher nature. God Bless ❤️

    I am glad to see the Lummi Nation will not just release her into the open ocean but will give her the care she needs- after so long in an inadequate facility, it’s doubtful she could survive in the full-blown wild. I support most zoos and aquariums because they educate the public about animals and do a lot of conservation science, but the Miami Seaquarium is just horrible- not only are they abusive and neglectful to their animals, but they stole a sacred relative from these innocent people. Best of luck to them, I hope and pray that Sk'aliCh'elh-tenaut is released from her prison tank and brought back to where she rightfully belongs with her people by her side
