- I've spent over $500 on RUclips Promotions beta in hopes of kickstarting growth to my RUclips channel. 15 promotions later, I've learned what works and what doesn't. This video will show you how to maximize your results for RUclips promotions in as little time, and spend, as possible.

I posted a video last Sunday that's doing very well (for my channel, comparatively) and so decided I would try the YT post boost, to boost awareness and engagement -> RUclips cancelled the promotion as Click Bait !?!?!?!?!? Like WTF?????????? It's not clickbait..... Just frustrating as F^CK! I have spent over $20k boosting Facebook posts to GREAT SUCCESS - I think I will never spend a dime on RUclips's SH^T promotional tools.
That's frustrating! RUclips can be strict. Maybe refine the thumbnail and title? Hang in there! 💪😌

Another proof that this works well is that I have received your content even though I am from Spain and speak Spanish.
But well, what I wanted to ask is, and if we increase the budget much more, for example to about $10,000, how would the CPS evolve?
They will call me crazy but I would like to do it

It looks as if the CPS will lower to a point and then plateau (ad fatigue). But each promotion has this "point" and we don't know how much money it will take to find it.
If I had $10,000, I'd rather spend it across 100 promotions than one single one. And once a promotion got to this plateau point, I'd reassess if my money was worth it to keep spending on it. Some may take $10 to get there, others might take $100.
For a few of my promotions, I knew right away that the CPS wouldn't drop below $0.15 - it reached it in a few days and would actually start to increase afterwards. Because other promotions were getting $0.08 CPS, it was a no brainer to stop that one and funnel everything into the promotions that were doing better.
@@WesGPTYes, the best thing would be to do about ten promotions of $10 each and I will increase the budget to the one that works best and the others that do well.
And I'll cancel the ones that go wrong.
But hey, I will continue studying the benefits of RUclips promotions
Let's see if I can do it, that's why I watched a lot of videos about this, even in other languages like yours.
Although I can tell you that the most likely thing is that I will do it and I will spend that money on the promotions or maybe more, I will continue looking for information.

Clearly I'm a new small creator. I am thinking about investing about $20 each into a few of my favourite videos that I think might do well for the audience I'm targeting. Should I just go for it and will it increase my views and subs more than what I'm getting now? What I mean is, is it worth doing it even if its to get my channel to more eyes at the very least? I don't think so - my advice is to just create more content!
As for creating a Google Ads Account, it will do it for you automatically.

I am running on my multiple videos and as for my experience it costs my over impressions And I think if I keep them running it will be trained to reach quickly to more potential viewers without counting more impressions. If It is or not?
Correct. The longer you run the promotion, the more it will train itself to perform better (up to a certain point)
My channel was at 420 subscribers and I did the promotion and it’s at 3,500. but it says I got around 1,200 threw the promotions did my channel actually get the other subscribers on it’s own ? Did this actually help your channel?
I don't think it helped my channel - I would guess it actually HURT it.

Thanks for sharing your experiences with the RUclips Promotion Beta! When I went to check it out, I saw this statement: "Subscribers and watch-time earned through a promotion do not contribute towards RUclips Partner Program eligibility." I wonder what the benefit is for the promotion if the subscribers and the watch time from the promotion are not counted for the YTPP eligibility?
I believe that subscribers from promotions DO count towards monetization but the watch hours do not.
The hope would be more views and subscribers which should get you more organic views and subscribers in the future.

I've tried to run a promotion about 20 times now over the past few days. I'm in YT via desktop and using Chrome. Every time, it gives me an error message "Sorry something went wrong. Try again later." Tried restarting my machine and clearing my cache. Still getting that error. How to fix this?
Sorry, I'm not sure! I had some weird issues too back when running campaigns, but nothing like this. I just think RUclips promotions is a little buggy.
I had the same issue. I switched from my chrome browser to my safari browser on my Mac and it worked just fine.

All of the recent videos are organic. I actually stopped running Promotions shortly after this video due to a theory...
Promotions get bad traffic, which hurts video performance, which causes the algorithm to not find your proper audience, which hurts future video performance, which slows down your channel growth.
And I think this theory was right because as soon as I stopped promoting, the channel blew up!

Yeah, I initially thought that more subscribers/watch hours/views, etc. would bump my videos up in SEARCH rankings (due to higher authority) but I found no evidence of that.

G’day, maybe hit pause promotion until after the end date that you set your promotion for. Maybe it will cancel it when the end date has arrived. I paused yesterday (just for a few hours) as I wanted my piano to go out at a different time. It did pause it, but if you pause it for the duration of promo time you chose, it may not promote and give your money back as it was not promoted, hence cancelling it. Hope that helps and hopefully it might just work 😘🎹🤘

Hey, I can't say...
Based on what I know about Shorts right now (they're not a good bridge to long-form content), I don't make Shorts for my channel.
If your channel is exclusively Shorts, then I'd run promotions on some of your content to see if the increase in views and subscribers jump-starts the rest of your content.
If you do end up running promotions, let me know how it goes :)

The ads algorithm is pretty good at finding data. It will just spend and spend aimlessly to get it lol
This is usually why the beginning of the promotions do so bad.
