Well… moving twice within 12 months is pretty expensive for someone living off his channel. Let the man earn some money on his channel. It’s like TV. If you don’t like the station’s ads, grab the remote.
If we like specific entertainment, it’s fair to pay the entertainer with either our money or our attention. If we’re choosing the attention route, and the entertainer has gathered enough attention, they have a right to leverage our attention to those that wish to sell the fruits of their effort as well in exchange for money. This is how entertainers put food on the table. Especially on a public medium.
This is all fair game, and he’s smart to do it. It wasn’t too long of an ad break. Entertainers know that they risk losing attention if they’re not entertaining.
Perhaps consider cutting him some slack. The BluRay cost money too. No Internet. He’s jumping through costly hoops just recording and uploading.

I have a degree in Psychology. It's actually pretty accurate that people who exhibit Dissociative Identity Disorder usually experienced some kind of abuse or traumatic experiences as a child. This led me to predict the kind of childhood the original personality had. Also, I wonder if it was actually the 3rd personality that took the abuse which might account for his apparent violent behaviors at the beginning of episode 3 when they both blackout and also why Steven doesn't remember his abusive mother.

Oscar Isaac is the best addition to the mcu since rdj. His acting in this episode was fantastic.
Also whatever mark is seeing is real in a certain sense. Tawaret made mention of the ancestral plane which is a direct shout out to black panther. The afterlife is basically how the person going through it expects it to be in the MCU. In black planther, kill monger had his dad's apartment, tchala had the whole tree with the former kings of wakanda and for Mark it happens to be a psych ward.

Personally, I thought the hippo “hi!” At the end of ep 4 was a very much needed release of tension. The whole episode had been steadily increasing in tension all throughout and it desperately needed something to break. With just that one word, it prepped the viewers to reset at the beginning of the next episode so it would still have that powerful emotional progression. I think that keeping the viewer in that super heightened state of unease and tension for a whole week would actually lessen the impact of what happened in ep 5 since it would allow as much of a buildup to the extremely emotional aspects here.

Hippo seems very MCU when you remember there's a talking raccoon and a big green monster running around in the same universe.
Also with Layla. Based on what's told in previous episodes it seems Marc first sought her out because of his guilty conscience of being there when her dad was killed. Then we assume they fell in love and got married. Then probably started excavating dig sites looking for that magic scarab and probably other things. Then when Marc found out Khonshu was considering replacing him with her he pushed her away and tried to divorce her to keep her safe.

It's the same god that did a solar eclipse just to get the other God's attentions instead of just calling for a meeting, who practically yells when the other Gods are just speaking normally and not harming their avatars. He is that petty, reckless and flawed with unresolved family issues and have bad ideas, so the whole sky thing may also be another way for him to once again raise his metaphorical middle fingers at the other Gods who kicked him out. Oscar Isaac ONLY signed on for this one series. Of course, that doesn't mean that he might not reprise Moon Knight at a later date (we can only hope). But keep in mind that in the past, Disney/Marvel has locked people down with contracts when they knew there was a good possibility that they wanted to use that actor again. And that has not happened this time. So I am actually a little nervous that maybe there are no immediate plans for including Oscar Isaac in MCU projects in the near future. Which then makes me nervous about where Moon Knight is heading for episode 6.
Remember that Mark/Steven is only the CURRENT Moon Knight. I would not put it past Kevin Feige to, for example, have Layla try to rescue Khonshu and have to agree to be the new Avatar/Moon Knight in exchange for Mark and Steven's life. While Feige certainly has respect for the comics and tries to keep to their spirit, he is not rigidly beholden to their stories and substance and has been known to make changes to keep things unpredictable.

Once again sort of missing the point about the star map thing. It's not like Khonshu was like "oh we have to rewind to X date on Y calendar year of this specific calendar". He "remembered what the sky looked like", so therefore as the protector of the night travelers or whatever he's called he went into his memory and pulled exactly what the sky looked like to him on that night.

Ancient Egypt's mythology was very big into gods having animal forms. Osiris was one of the few who appeared human, most of the rest looked kind of like shifters - human animal hybrids, kind of like werewolves but different animals. Just to pick up on a few bits you mention, I'm actually from London, and Oscar Isaacs accent jars on a few occasions, but it's not too bad overall. They get a lot of things really right - when Steven knocks the sandy zombie off the boat he shouts "Six!" the maximum score off a single shot in cricket - but some other things wrong - in the Tomb when he tips stuff onto the other zombie he says "I squished it", but we'd always say "squashed".
However, now knowing he picked it up off a ropey old film character, it kind of explains the inconsistencies. If that's the level of depth and layers they've gone for, it's very impressive.
