OMG I just realized that the truck Lemon used to kill The Prince was the SAME ONE that Lady bug was almost hit by at the beginning!!!
Well, the same company. It couldn't possibly have gotten there that fast.
@@elbruces And they couldn't have possibly survived that train crash. It's a movie about fate, it's definitely the same truck.
I think the wolf flashback had a point and a joke. The point was to introduce the Hornet after Percy's death and the joke was that they gave him an elaborate backstory only to immediately kill him. The flashbacks in general were a running gag ending peaking with the water bottle
This movie was the perfect length. It's almost real-time. The movie is 126 minutes and the ride from Tokyo to Kyoto is 140.
The tangerine truck at the end is the same one that almost hit Ladybug at the start of the movie. Also, Ladybug checked for traffic the wrong way.
Tangerine gave Lemon his vest the first time Lemon was knocked out.
The book Channing is reading is from Lost City.
Lemons and tangerines are from the same family of fruit. This could show that Lemon and Tangerine are fraternal twins.
Lemon gave The Son the Percy sticker. Logan Lerman played Percy, as you pointed out.
I believe Channing Tatum was in this movie to return the favor for Brad Pitt having a small role in the Lost City with Channing Tatum and Sandra Bolluck.
Oh shit I forgot abt that movie 😭💀
That’s why I also believe Ryan Reynolds’s does a cameo because Brad Pitt did that cameo in Deadpool 2
Actually, both Cameo's Channing and Ryan were for both films The Lost City and Deadpool 2...it was easy for Channing since The Lost City was being filmed during the same time as this Movie and Since Sandra had just a Voice role through 95% of the film and then show up at the end...which I'm sure was only when all of Sandra's scenes in The Lost City had been finished.
Bing! Correct! 🙂
@@JohnDoe-415Also correct! 🙂
i'm sure you seen these comments before but there should realy be a prequel starring tnagerine & lemon. easily the best in my opinion of this wacky fun action driven film
I honestly wish the story was about them
I want one with fuckin carver being a major asshole, maybe show him fucking over Lemon and Tangerine, seeing how he pisses them off, and maybe show him fucking with the hornet and pissing her off. That would be hilarious. Then maybe him taking the piss out of Lady bugs sails, then hitting on Maria unsuccessfully. Lol just carver being a major troll to all the assassins around him and shitting on them.
I've said it in another react video, but make an HBO mini series. Show a bit of their childhood, how they became "professionals", the jobs they've talked about and some new ones. End with them getting on the train. Maybe have the credits roll over a random used object from the episode like the water bottle.
I don’t think there’s a book that covers their childhood
@@OtomostheCrazy Is it in the book that one of the twins has a god awful East End accent?
One of the funniest movies I've seen recently. GREAT fucking cast. Insane dialogue, hilarious shot comp, and absolutely awesome backstories with correspondingly awesome subversions of expectations.
The reason why it has so many Deadpool connection/references is because its by the same director. He has a little cameo as the kill no. 17 by Lemon & Tangerine
The throughlines in this movie is quite insane. I almost didn't notice but Lemon said he won't wear a vest because "what if you got shot in the neck", Tangerine gets shot in the neck, and he has a vest. Hate that tangerine died though, felt like he was just too good of a character that they had to kill him so that Lemon would have a reason to bear a grudge.
I think Tangerine gave Lemon the vest in an earlier scene off-camera. The scene where they split up, Lemon has his suspenders off like he just put something on under his shirt, and after that scene Tangerine's shirt becomes progressively more unbuttoned and you can see that he's not wearing a vest. It's still ironic that he gets shot in the neck though, since even if he kept the vest it wouldn't have helped.
Many people don't know the train hostess that Brad buys water from is Kimiko from The Boys
Dude I freaked when I saw her
I knew that
THIS IS KATANA
I got so upset when hornet punched her and yelled yeah try that with her powers in the boys 😂😂😂😂😂😂
“You were more like Thomas anyway” Lemon and Tangerine were my favorites. This is the most decent movie in recent years
The way Brad's character Mr Magoos his way through the movie is hilarious
You remember Mr. Magoo?
Dude, you're old
20 minutes less?! I would happily take 20 minutes more!
Pisses me off how original movies like this and michelle yeoh movie are not talked about a lot.
Movies like this don’t get apprenticed as much. If this was early 2000s this would probably be poppin
Yet here you had your chance to promote Michelle Yeoh's movie and didn't bother to mention the title. 🤔
F*** YES!!! Finally somebody else acknowledges the Romeo and Juliet of the situation between lemon and tangerine
Also I feel like the reason it felt like it dragged on was on purpose because that's how Brad Pitt's character was probably feeling by the end of it. He was only supposed to get on and off one stop but then got dragged into this giant nightmare train scheme
That's because the movie is directed by the same director who directed Deadpool 2, David Leitch.
Took me a couple of watches to realise Ladybug lucked out with missing the tangerine truck at the beginning too.
Carver was trying to kill the White Death, who wasn't there because of the Bolivia incident.
"A plum does not resent the hungry man, but the farmer who planted the tree"
Basically, the plum represents the assassins on the train. When a man is hungry, he eats because it's natural right? So when a group of assassins (guys who kill for a living) are put in the same place and pitted against each other, they can't blame each other for doing what comes naturally. The person who they should be mad at is the guy who put them all there to begin with-- i.e., the farmer who planted the tree.
The woman that pushes the drink cart is played by the actress that plays The Female on The Boys.
Deadpool 2 and bullet train were directed by the same guy. So hence to similarity.
I'd love to see David leitch do another Deadpool movie in the future also maybe a Gambit movie with Channing Tatum
He also directed the first John wick movie
To answer your question yes, a massive amount of people worldwide have seen or at least know of Thomas the tank engine.
No body remembers Channing Tatum and Joey King were in White House Down
also brad pitt's "luck" is pretty much like domino's power :D
The Deadpool 2 reference is even bigger when you think about that Pitts Char is always kinda unlucky will in Deadpool 2 Zazie is always kinda lucky.
This movie is kinda like a unofficial Deadpool 3
I’m pretty sure it’s by the same director as well
Running through your backlog because of the strike, did not notice the deadpool references when i saw this
Yes, you missed something. The White Death's wife wasn't the target. He was supposed to be in that car.
You don't actually need to know how to stop a train. It will stop on its own if you don't touch the controls for a minute or two.
I do think you dont quite get how the movie was meant to feel, it was meant to feel like a comic book/graphic novel. Thats what the movie feels like, someone made a comic book as is
The fact every time you see tangerine in a new scene he’s slowly becoming more beat up and buttons undone is hilarious. Guy just can’t have it easy lol
This was one of the most unexpectedly Guy Ritchie movies.
I got vibes from him and Tarantino
I really liked that iteration of the “assassins stuck together like trope
When lemon and tangerine refer to the old punch and judy, for context punch and judy are a very famous British puppeteering act hence why they puppeteer the corpse in the next scene.
My biggest surprise out of this film is that they did not make a prequel with just tangerine and lemon. Those two characters alone would have made a fantastic film to follow
I love this movie so much. I love that Ryan Reynolds cameos in return for Brad Pitt cameoing in Deadpool 2. But Tangerine and Lemon need their own spin off/prequel. Honestly all these characters could have their own movie. 😂
Did this fool really think The White Death's son was Logan Lerman??????
Edit
I've come to the realization that he is played by Logan Lerman. I thought he was some actual Russian dude. My bad.
I guess that's just a great compliment to the acting lmao
Brad Pitt was only in Deadpool 2 for less than a second. At least they gave Ryan Reynolds a whole second in this one!
Give it another watch now that you know the story to see how the threads were coming together. This movie definitely makes it easy to get distracted from the story.
Don't blame the movie for people with short attention spans.
This movie was like John Wick crossed with clue because you were figuring things out as you went along and the action was so well done every action scene was very tight and well choreographed and the fact that it's in such a tight space made it that much easier to follow and more intimate
A little surprised you didn't use the actual tv edit: "Yippe-ki-yay Mister Falcon"
BTW, Violent Night looks like a promising Christmas movie. Major "Die Hard, but starring Santa" vibes from the trailer.
Uh oh, did they just skip the after credits scene entirely?
I enjoyed this film a lot, it just wants to be fun and it was.
More than that, the setup and payoff was great, it had real emotional moments, the characters were all well done. This movie is way smarter than people are giving it credit for
And at the end truck-kun does its job!!
nice clarus this is the first reaction of this movie ive watched that someone recognised hiro nakamura
Man, the first season of heroes was so fucking good.
-II saw this in the theater when it came out. The trailer was too crazy to pass up. When the opening credits started and I saw where it was done by the same production company that did John Wick and Nobody, I was IMMEDIATELY in for it.
-You caught the Deadpool 2 connection. However, there’s also tThe Lost City connection with Pitt, Channing Tatum, and Sandra Bullock as well as White House Down with Tatum and Joey King and The Proposal with Bullock and Ryan Reynolds.
-I thought Pitt was great as “Ladybug” but there’s part of me that wishes there was an alternate universe where Matthew McConaughey was in the role.
It would be crazy if the director of this movie was the same as Deadpool 2, imagine.
@ 5:27 no he's not, he's in tons of blockbuster movies, cult classics. He's far from percy jackson, most people dont even recognize him from those movies
You can build an immunity to certain venom but it would take a long time and I'm not sure it would work with a venom as potent as the type in the film.
If there's a "sequel" they should just do the author's next book, about a widower who seeks revenge against the three assassins who killed his wife. It's called "Three Assassins"
this movie its made by the saem director as Deadpool 2, thats why there is all this same character and references
"final curtain bitch!! take a fucking bow!!" 😂😂 loved he got his revenge on his twin at the end hahaha
1:44 Even the tangerine truck is a character.
Since I'm from Fiji seeing the Fiji water bottle made me laugh so hard out of confusion
The Deadpool aspect you referenced was only a few seconds. Not quite a movie made in reference to Deadpool. Channing Tatum's part is funny and most people wouldn't get that it's a Channing Tatum reference unless they watch Channing Tatum movies. The Wolf background was meant to show the poisoning and make the viewer wonder who did the poisoning and add a neat fight scene that kept Brad Pitt from leaving the train when he already had the briefcase in hand.
For as much as you laughed, it seemed like it was an entertaining movie for you (the guy) but you didn't seem to like it.
What are all these "references" you're talking about? Is Arnold being in many James Cameron movies a "reference"? What an absurd reason to criticize a movie
I honestly never noticed the movie being long by any means because it kept me entertained and invested. Long movie lengths are only a problem if it doesn't keep your attention but sometimes that's a flaw in the audience member by having too poor of an attention span lol. This movie is awesome, though. Not many movies can balance things well like this these days.
36:29 Can't say I agree on this. You didn't need to get the reference to enjoy that sequence. And it was a small part of the movie at the end of the day.
Yeah ...
Thomas is corny
now i realize the tangerine car at the end is the same as the car that splashed brad pitt at the beginning of the movie
31:24
When you said water bottle seen some shit 😂😂😂
I can't control The movie is awesome guys 😂
20:00 He has a kid, of course he knows Thomas.
If you like Andrew Koji look up Warrior its an amazing show
Wish I could give this comment 5 thumbs up! Warrior is a fantastic showcase of action and acting.
The movie is longer because the runtime of the movie is the same time it takes to get from Tokyo to Kyoto by bullet train.
Shorter version ? I need a longer version
29:57 😂😂Geta lifted head first through glass sun roof 😂😂
Nerdy and Clarus as Mr. & Mrs. Smith-Yes, please. 😁
They need a sequel with Ryan Renolds in it with Brad Pitt on the same mission😂
i used to watch Thomas the Train as a kid
If you want this movie, but with a solvable mystery and fewer cameos I recommend Flypaper.
This is a fun movie
I don't want the version of this movie that is shorter. I think its chaos and ridiculousness is what makes it great, and honestly so much better than Deadpool 2. (Let's be honest, Deadpool 2 is...not great.)
You guys are way too good to not have a million subs right now. Hope to see more movies reactions soon!
Funny 😂.. Worst reaction
Tom cruise did the same thing in mission impossible - jumped from a helicopter to a bullet train
boosting thru top window into whatever that was ... top 10 kills I seen ... you all should watch beekeeper XD ... holds my number 1 inventive ways to kill someone ... nvm I just checked I already watched reaction XD ... ratchet strap to truck ... #1 in my kills chart atm
Next PO Box trip there's like spoiled lemon meringue pies all over haha
Never seen Deadpool 2. I absolutely love this movie tho, one of my favorites.
I hate to be that guy, but is CSM dropping tonight? No worries if not. My dumb ass is staying up late just to catch yall's reaction lmao, very excited to see it
I’m so sorry, our flight to LA and every pushed things back. It’s gonna be up tomorrow
@@NerdyNightly Don't be sorry at all haha, I can be patient! I forgot you guys mentioned you'd be in LA, hope you both enjoy the trip :)
Lmao joey king the pink “Mary sue” was in the kissing booth
The way the story unfolds in this movie reminds me of Resident Evil 6 🤣
this is a reference of Deadpool 2, bcause the direcetor is the same bro
us brits do use our heads , called a head butt.
Wasn't this made by the same team as deadpool 2?
Tbe original shining time station had Ringo Starr, before it was Thomas tank
I think they left a lot of unanswered questions in hopes of doing a sequel. I know y’all couldn’t play the music for copyright purposes but the white death’s entrance was so epic and I had your same reaction when I saw it was Michael Shannon lol
What unanswered questions? Also other channels managed the music just fine
@@DiggitySlice like who put all the events together for the white death’s wife to die. Seemed like it had to be orchestrated by someone which is what the couple in the video were talking about at the end.
@@calebjackson2490 idk, she chose to pick her son up which led to the crash
@@BuuhBlocks so your saying it really was fate that made everything fall in place
@@calebjackson2490 Carver was meant to kill the White Death, it was an assassination attempt but his wife was in the car instead. It’s said in the movie bruh 💀
Amazing movie, I need another!
Also Pitt was unlucky
Domino was lucky
Its from the director of deadpool 2 so....
The weird thing is Tangerine actually said briefcase to Prince, so when Lemon caught on that she said briefcase, she could have been entirely innocent and simply remembering what Tangerine had asked her.
No he just says case
@@laiiinicole no, when talking to Prince: Tangerine explicitly said "silver briefcase". Go watch the movie.
Her “of course” it’s Michael Shannon… ummm who?!? Lmao
I love seeing reaction from you guys but the discussion afterwards is always the most stupid nitpicks ever, sometimes doesn't even say the actual flaws in it
Yippie ki yay, Mr. Falcon.
What is with all these comments asking you guys to watch another movie by the director of RRR
Can't believe didn't show reaction to tangerine finding Lemon "dead". Easily one of the best scenes in the whole movie.
so sad no music XD
Wow, get a new editor. You cut out most of the reaction worthy scene like ryan reynolds reveal and sandra bullocks reveal.
Jesus Christ! There is hope for me yet.
Thought the same thing. It felt really long.
I think I felt long because of the frenetic pace and that it's constantly changing direction.
Imo, worst cut reaction of this movie. Just sayin'.
Chainsaw man ep 8 is out can't wait for ur reaction peace out
Awesome reaction, David & Clarus.
If you haven't seen them already "Hereditary" ( staring Toni Collette, Gabriel Byrne, Alex Wolff, and Ann Dowd ), "Midsommar" ( staring Florence Pugh, Jack Reynor, and William Jackson Harper ), and "Barbarian" ( staring Georgina Campbell, Bill Skarsgard, and Justin Long ) would make for some awesome reactions for the channel.
Some other great movies to react to are "Nobody", "Train to Buusan", "Ready Player One", "The Black Phone", "The Adam Project", "Don't Breath" "30 Days of Night", "Don't Breath 2", and John Wick 1 , 2, & 3.
Lmao wtf 2:00 💀
React to vikram trailer guys
