I liked when you pointed out the “grip” for the melodic minor. It’s easy to find when playing. And it’s easy to try in a variety of positions. I think the concept of grips is a good teaching tool. When appropriate, you might point out other grips. Thanks for a great lesson!
Excellent info and many Blessings to you!

Thank you so very much! Hope the channel can help you grow as a player!
I love your lessons. Once I realized the #11 in the melody on top of dominate chords in tunes like Girl From Ipanema, Lady Bird, and others the use of the melodic minor just opened up for me.
Love the #11

Hi Nathan, just a quick suggestion. Would you do an analysis / lesson on Doug Rainey’s playing?
Recently discover this amazing guitarist. Digging it!
I'll check it out!

Thanks David!
Good stuff! There’s a little transcription error at the 7:35 mark (minor iiVi). The D and F notes are reversed heading into the D7(b9). Maybe you can fix on your website PDF? Stay jazzy! 😎
Hi Steve, thanks for pointing that out. Appreciate it! I'll upload a fixed PDF on the website.
I can't find this PDF on you site?
