That’s what I’m doing. I put a little extra in each envelope so when it’s time to count it will be more than the goal. So excited.

I’m not doing this challenge per se, but I save cash too. I just passed the 5 grand mark. It’s so freeing to have no debt and money saved.

Back in 1998 when I started going out on my own, I used to do the envelope thing… I wish that they would’ve come out with these types of things back then because I was able to save so much money by doing the envelope thing and it’s a good way to stay on track of your budgeting and everything. Yeah these are great. I’m probably gonna get one even though most of my money is all in the bank. 😂
It is so fun to do these, I find them so motivating. 😁

Isn't it better to put your money in an interest bearing bank account?
I do this just helps motivate me. After a thousand, I take it and put it in a high yield savings account.
Not really because you have to pay taxes on that interest.

Its better than doing nothing- but a more prosperous method is to set up automatic transfers every month to an ETF, so your money works for you.

Yeah, so I was doing something similar in 2023, but I tracked it all with spreadsheets.
I put my 2022 tax refund and $200 a week into Bitcoin in Q1, Q2 and Q3 last year. When I got to 0.5 Bitcoin, I started buying up Solana in Q4, and that money has 5Xed in a few months.
You really should have that in an interest bearing savings account at the very least.
That's awesome, I do once 1000 is saved it goes a high yield savings but soon investing.

Amazing I just started my journey today well it was supposed to be on the 9th tomorrow on my birthday but I started off today because I got in money faster today than would have been my payday tomorrow but I ended up starting today so I did I did the 18 weeks challenge 450 and I'm doing the $100 dollar challenge too... And I cannot wait to review the final outcome within the 3 months and a half

I like the idea of coupons, ive just noticed where i live, coupons are often for name brand things. And even with a coupon, store brand is still cheaper. Not ALWAYS, but most of the time.
Agreed, that's why I often use apps like Fetch that give me points for scanned receipts no matter what I buy.

Hello I want to start but I am confused what you mean by 100 envelope challenge. Do you put a certain amount everyday or how much do you put if that makes sense.
So I purchased the 10,000 challenge, so each envelope has an amount on it that when all fill will equal 10,000. But there is also 5000 and sometimes less. They are sold on etsy.

Where did you buy the 10k challenge? How do I know how much to place into each envelope?
I can't find the exact one shown in my video, I got them from someone on etsy but here is a similar one. You just put whatever the amount on the envelope says so if it says 15, put 15, etc...

How much to put down in the envelopes?
Depending if you choose 5000 or 10,000 kit, it will be broken down into 100 envelopes, and the amount will be on each envelope.

I just bought a box of 100 #6 envelopes at Walmart for less than $3 and just numbered them myself. I’d love to have the pretty ones, but honestly I just can’t justify it

Each envelope will have an amount on it fill it with the amount on it. After they are full you will have 10,000. But they come in 5000 as well.
