How does this work? This is fascinating and I would love to do better with my budgeting.
Envelopes are numbered 1-100. You decide how long you want to stretch it out (100 days, 26 weeks, 52 weeks), then you decide how many envelopes you want to fill 1,2,3, etc. It's all personal preference. You pull however many envelopes you wish to fill and fill it with whatever number is on the outside of the envelope (1-$1, 2$2 and so on.) Once you fill them al,l you unstuff them and either deposit the funds for bills, vacation or drop it your sinking funds (however you want to spend it).

If you are a teenager and you’re interested in this can you still budget but if you don’t pay bills what could you put in an envelope. Say you just want to save up as much money?
You can save for your future. School. Car etc
Your toiletries. Bath and body, make up, school clothes, birth days and savings
Save it for something you want long term and Invest it!
