- Stretching is SO important for your body and something we should all aim to do more often. Plus, it’s the perfect way to relax after a long, stressful day. I mean, can I just stay like this forever?? Today I’m bringing you 5 stretches that will help you increase your flexibility along with 5 tips on how to have a positive mindset. The body and mind are connected, so let’s take care of them both!
Your 5 stretches are:
1. The Lizard
2. Heeled Pyramid
3. Figure Four Hold
4. Laying Twist
5. Happy Baby To Happy Adult
Your 5 tips for positivity are:
1. Positive affirmations
2. Be grateful for the small things
3. Turn failures into lessons

Stretch and talk should be a series. ^^ I for some reason found the convo when stretching to be a lot more easy to engage in than other workouts.

My girlfriend recommended your blog to me cause I was trying to start working out again and this was the first video I watched and this was exactly what I needed to hear. I got out of a 5-year relationship earlier this year and am currently in another country for work but I completely agree you are the only person that has control over your own happiness. I was so unhappy in my relationship and my life at that moment, I tried communicating to my partner the reasons why I was unhappy, that I wanted us to do more than just watch Netflix at home (among other reasons) but he was not listening to me. So I ended it and have been slowly rediscovering myself again and finding activities that bring me joy. I tell myself similar things to stay positive but hearing them in this video oddly reaffirmed to me that I am making the right moves and decisions even if it scares me or I doubt myself. I am not perfect but am on the long road to becoming the best version of me I can be. So thank you.
LOVE all the videos where we exercise/stretch and you give us tips, it's super helpful to get your mind off a hard move and get you thinking about how you can better yourself :)

I loved this, and normally I'm very bad at stretching and give up quickly. I'm so thankful that I was able to do these stretches and be reminded about the steadiness of life among the chaos. I've been through so much trauma in my life and I really liked what you said about positivity and even about making thank you notes. I really agree with you. I feel like instead of people being hostile and negative they can turn whatever trauma or whatever they went through around and be kind and spread love and peace.

This is AWESOME! Creating a positive mindset while doing stretches is a 2 in 1 deal. I'm excited to be able to share this with all of my friends next week so we may continue to hold onto a positive mindset as well as a healthy stretch in our life.
I’ve been a Popster for years and I’ve never seen this video until now, but I can honestly say it couldn’t have come at a better time. My anxiety and depression have been at its highest lately and in the middle of the video I nearly broke down and cried...thank you Cassey.
