      @@tastyneck LT was also a beast and when this was more of a running league that mattered more, but nowadays anyone with good receivers and scheme and qb can throw the ball so well, that running it loses it's value... That was more of what I had in mind. Sure, nowadays RBs do not warrant high draft position, because in the grand scheme of the game now. Having a beast like Henry means too little when teams can just score in a hurry like it's no one's business.
      But there is a bright side to the changes occuring in the league, our favourite QBs can play into 50s xD

    Now I wanna know how many times a team traded for the 1st overall pick, but it wound up being that AFTER they got it.
    I know a few cases in the NBA, like when the Clippers were so desperate to get rid of Baron Davis they accidentally also gave up Kyrie Irving, and the fact that one of the picks in the Garnett-Pierce trade later gave Boston their first #1, which probably would’ve been Tatum anyway, but Philly wanted Fultz that badly.

    You should do a video on cities that actually tried to lure a pro team from any league, with disastrous results. Like when Richmond VA tried to lure the Redskins when Jack Kent Cooke was looking to build his new stadium and was having all the issues with doing it. They spent something like $20,000 on a feasibility study on doing it, and for $20 I could have told them in five seconds it was never going to happen.

    Wait what? Didn't even mention Elway? The guy went to 5 superbowls and is one of the best QBs ever

      Well because technically, Elway got drafted number one overall by the Colts. He only ended up with the Broncos after draft day.
      I don't disagree with you, since I'm a Broncos fan! But that's probably why Five Points excluded Elway for this list.

      @@ETibbs11 fair enough but should have at least made the honorable mentions. He spent about as much time on the colts as manning did on the chargers

    Evaluating the Vick for Tomlinson trade: WOOF!!!!!

  • @RoyalMela
    @RoyalMela 2 года назад

    I almost most cases the trade is not the key. It is what you get from those picks and that is all about SCOUTING and DRAFTING. Imagine if Titans selected a bust with all the picks, then the Goff trade was good..? No, still all about scouting and drafting. Unless you trade a player head up for another player, there is no reason to rank the trade based on who you draft with the pick.

    Stafford cost the Rams Goff, who cost them their 2016 first-round, two second-round, and third-round selections in this year's draft (15th, 43rd, 45th, and 76th) as well as Los Angeles's first- and third-round selections in the 2017 NFL Draft PLUS a 2021 third-round pick and two first-round picks in 2022 and 2023
