@@Tnl-w In MHFU, there is an arena where you can fight a basic size Rajang. BUT if you do not defeat him within 10 minutes of the match, a second, much larger Rajang (and I fucking mean Large...), will slam into the arena. Full Super Saiyan.... and his size makes him even more merciless...
It is a post game thing. You gotta level each area in the post game open hunting grounds to fight certain monsters that only appear there, and it is the only place to find tempered elders for the first time. It has drops unique to the area for upgrades. Problem is leveling one area can level down the others, and the tiniest of things can drop your level! You need at LEAST level 6 to get the unique monsters to show up for that area, and there is one for each. It is a royal pain and super annoying to maintain and grind levels. For example: I was grinding up coral highlands hunting area to level 6, spent two days getting level 5 to ALMOST level 6. A pukei pukei randomly stumbled into a vine trap in the forest area. Two days of grinding was lost as forest leveled up, and coral leveled down even though I was never in the forest, all because derp lizard.

I'm stoked for it as well. =D Somehow i want the new Rajang to be even worse than the old. But i guess the ability to walk while drinking and the electric mantle thingie might help tremendously against him. I still have flashback to G-Rank in mh4u, where you suddenly got an Apex Rajang tearing you a new one from the sidelines. (srsly, i haven't even spotted him usually, he just walked in, did his Kamehameha and buggered off again, just to make a statement)
I love all of this, it's brilliant. I always thought Rajang just jumped to the New World, that's how he travels to other areas in previous Monster Hunter games.
One of my favorite things about the power trio is how well they fit into kaiju culture Rajang and Deviljho are obviously King Kong and Godzilla respectively and Bazelgeuce is a fitting allegory for the nuclear weapons that often create the monsters.
I never advanced enough in Genereations on the 3ds. Played tri and 3rd ultimate solo campaign and played a decent chunk of MH4 (up to silver rathalos). Never fought the rajang before. Never carted or used the heal bubble solo. Maybe it's tempared form is more of a challenge.
@@baryonxovi7351 I don't think Rajang is nerfed at all, if anything the bad memories people like me have is with Rajangs tougher siblings. Like Apex Rajang as the prime example. Regular Rajang is still a challenge and more so as a Temp. But it's not Furious or Apex.

From my experience with the group i've played with the Vets had a much harder time than the newbie (me). Since expectations + new movement betrayed them quite a bit. Honestly rajangs probably going to be pitiful when faced with either my n3 hbg set or my gold rathy IG glaive. Either way cant wait to get home and destroy him.
They either did it this way or Rajang called down his yellow cloud to fly past the ocean. So, now that the obvious Dragonball-reference is out of the way, we can make original jokes.

From my experience with the group i've played with the Vets had a much harder time than the newbie (me). Since expectations + new movement betrayed them quite a bit.
Honestly rajangs probably going to be pitiful when faced with either my n3 hbg set or my gold rathy IG glaive. Either way cant wait to get home and destroy him.
