Thanks for creating a lot of Memey but high quality content during the MH Gen 5 Era. The Arch Tempered Velkhana Video remains one of my all time favorites from you. The effort you put into that video really shows and you took the designs of both the monster and the hunters to the next level. All of Velkhana's wide ranging attacks had great cinematography and the latter half of those closeups where Velkhana would turn to address another hunter were so smooth there were times I replayed those frames just to see how smooth they were again. There is of course the iconic approach of the 4th Hunter LS user while his allies were stuck in recovery animation with Velkhana doing something similar to the classic "Oh, you are approaching me?" pose. Here is hoping this new year goes great for you and your animations. Happy New Year!

Plus, since its on short two minute cooldown, you can use it more often. It also allowes you to stack two +4 gems when upgraded. If you get it upgraded, make sure to have the airborne skill. Gives you a bonus 30% damage in the air!

As someone who got Slinger Sniper and Buffs Master (HH Main since 3U) in every multiplayer hunt through low and high rank. Back in the games heyday, I'm actually surprised that a lot of people didn't utilize or understand the benefit of it. Also not using Mantles, especially Vitality, Rock Mantle, And Ooze mantle is a real shame.

My first time hunting this was fun, I couldn’t beat fatalis for the life of me so I was running safi gear with health regen on my hammer and I actually got a message from someone who was impressed with me staying above 75% health the whole fight. Still remember that dude

Multi tool user here, can confirm mineral oil will work. Or use a multi tool oil that is food-safe, like the one victorinox offers

Adding Olive Oil should increase your chances of tripping the monster due to it's slipperiness.
If it goes rancid, it could double as a poison coating as well. Imagine being cut with a knife that has rotten oils slathered onto it!
