hey, I wanted to say thank you. I only started playing guitar about a year ago. But your guitar covers and tabs really inspired me to keep pursuing guitar. Without you I wouldn't have been playing as long as I have been. Thank you once again and see you in the zone.
This was the first song in Anomaly that I stopped to listen to after completing some quests in the swamp and going with some Stalkers to the bonfire to rest, listening to it with the ambient noise in the background was a good experience.
I love this channel, I’ve been struggling to stay motivated to play my guitar. But these beautiful songs from my favourite games keep me going, your channel has helped me love this sort of music again. Thank you
Long story short. Whenever you see me playing this guitar - Im in Ukraine. It belongs to my girlfriend who lives there, and whenever I visit, I use this one to play.
@@Campfire.StalkerI wish I could take my acoustic and just play shit out somewhere like this. I'm in the city, the only place with forest are filled with crackheads and thieves lmao.
i never played stalker but love this channel for years. now i would like to play it. do i just buy the base game and dlc afterwards or all at once or should i use gamma or similar to start? any tips to prevent a noob from hours of research?
To get the most complete experience, you should start with the main trilogy (Shadow of Cherobyl, Clear Sky, Call of Pripyat) with some minor bug fixing mods because the engine is outdated and may crash. Stalker Anomaly, which is where a lot of these songs come from, is a fanmade game that focuses purely on gameplay and atmosphere but forgoes the story of stalker. It is free on ModDB but is a bit rougher to pick up for new players. Stalker GAMMA on the other hand, is a more hardcore and modded version of stalker anomaly and it is quite difficult to get through with default settings as a new player and has a lot of mechanics to gradually learn, but allows you to tweak the mods to change difficulty and even disable some mechanics. So if you want to get into it in the smoothest way possible: trilogy -> anomaly -> gamma
The base trilogy with bug fixing mods is the best way to get into the series. There are no dlcs, Anomaly is a standalone mod that is gameplay and atmosphere focused, while Gamma is a gigantic hardcore modpack for Anomaly.
If you want the full experience I would highly recommend starting with Call of Pripyat. I started playing the OG trilogy and bought them all in a bundle. However I would have rather just spent a third of the price and just had CoP, it’s easily the most polished and atmospheric and you still get the big idea of what stalker is all about.. Although they are all relatively fun, Shadow of Chernobyl and Clear Sky can be very buggy and both of them feel extremely dated and clunky due to the funky difficulty settings and gun mechanics, EVEN compared to call of Pripyat. Ill play through them once for the story, but its going to be difficult to justify replaying for anything other than the atmosphere and maybe the faction system in clear sky. If you want the most enjoyable experience that stays true to the originals, vanilla Call of Pripyat is the way to go.

Thought so too! But now I do notice that a 9-month old video features this one too. Second time on the channel I guess!
