Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! You are literally the first person to balance out the message of shaft length, shot dispersion, and launch angle to counter the emotional responses of “jacked lofts”. Everyone needs to go back and listen again to what you have to say from the 7:50 - 9:00 mark. The absolute best review from an intellectual and engineering standpoint on RUclips. I applaud your comprehensive honesty.
On a side note for everyone afraid of 200 yards, I noticed your swing speed at 95 mph (way fast for this club unless you’re on the PGA tour). I’m guessing your standard shafts are significantly heavier (110-120 gram steel). That would modify your swing speeds, and therefore distances immediately.
Just bought these and had to order the 5-iron. Couldn't care less about the controversy. I was losing distance before my back surgery and after it I fell off the edge of the Earth. This tech is exactly what I needed. I was hitting my 4-iron sometimes a pathetic 165-170 when I used to hit my old 7-iron that technologically was a piece of crap that was made by cavemen in the '70's. I CAN'T WAIT to hit the green from 165 with my new 7-iron, roll in the birdie putt and collect after the round!! And I'll be taunting the whole entire way around the track!!! It's going to be SWEET LOL!!!
I’m getting these but planning on changing shafts as I’m a somewhat high swing speed player and play T100 with AMT White S300. Should I get same shaft? I’m afraid of losing height because of the geometry of the 400 heads. So I was looking at let’s say DG105 S300
Robert, the set makeup comes with 3-W. The wedge is 50 degrees loft. You would then transition into a 55 or 56 degree loft and should have about 10-15 yards between each club. Companies are making stronger lofted irons and then providing more wedge options. Link: www.titleist.com/golf-clubs/irons/t100
I have Driver 3Wood 19* hybrid 22* hybrid then T400 7 /8/9/pw/ 43 /49 / 52/ 55 may get a 6 iron and have a vokey 54 The vokey is about stopping on a firm green from 50 yards in
That was a very informative- excellent presentation. Told me ecactly what I needed to know to make an informed decision with regard to that product. Very good -well done.
Thanks for watching Steven. Appreciate your feedback. We have sold several sets of these irons in our Golf Shop. Great addition to the "game improvement" iron family from Titleist
I’ve had these for about 3 months, great irons but I’m finding inconsistent distances, I’m hitting the PW from 150y to 180y, seem to get a lot of flyers out of the rough. Be interested to hear others on this and if they get this?
I did a custom fitting at the Titleist studios in Carlsbad, CA. The fitter mentioned that the T200,300,400 series can be low spinning and you may see flyers. That’s why you don’t see these clubs on the PGA Tour. However, 90 % of mid/high handicaps shots come up short of the green. These clubs can help players that come up short often and miss hit more often than hitting the center. If you are the opposite, I would look into the T100 iron. They are great.
Could you do a video on the T100S irons vs P760, MP20 MMC, Z785 or similar irons with close to the same loft Or Anything you did on T100S would be great.
Unfortunately we don't have the T100s irons. The only difference that we are aware of between the T100 and T100s is that the S are 2 degrees stronger in loft. If you are a high spin player or just looking for extra distance you could try the T100s. We will try to put together a video with the P760's and/or MMC irons for sure. Thanks for watching.
@@johndowning583 feel and sound was a bit loud and clunky compared to a foreged T100 that I'm used to playing. I could probably get used to it over time.
I don’t see why everyone freaks out about a 200 yards 7 iron. I play 1996 big berthas and that’s my normal 7. Just have around 15 yards of gap between wedges
They were about a club longer than the Ap3 irons for me. Ap3 are the game improvement for Titleist. The T400 are the slow swing speed game improvement club. Light weight shaft, extra speed, hybrid like head design for ultimate forgiveness and distance.
When you have less loft and you hit the ball with the face a little open its going to be more off line than a club with more loft that is not helping high handicap players..
Watched a senior golfer with a 70 mh swing speed compare 7 diff forgiveness irons.. despite the t400 having the strongest loft they were still tied for the highest height of the seven clubs and were the longest. The dispersion of shots was not the tightest.
The title of your video has the word honest in it right? So, why would I even watch your review if all of your reviews are not honest? I don't know how you have any subscribers to be "honest"

Just bought these today. I can live with 178 yard carry from a 7 iron!!
If you are carrying the 7 iron 200 yards, how do you gap that to the wedges with only the 8 and 9 before you get to the wedges?

How do these compare to the AP3?

Two clubs longer than the T100...males sense considering it’s 8 degrees difference in loft.

Cannot see myself hitting down with a 7 iron with such a strong loft.
38 degree pitching wedge no thank you....that makes no sense..

Josh. That makes zero sense. With that ridiculous logic you’d have to say, “to be honest” after every statement you ever make.
