I just want to say that your locs are so pretty! I was hesitant to get sisterlocks and you are one RUclipsr that not only inspired me to get my install, but to document via RUclips! Thanks for being an inspiration, and so open about your journey 🤎
We have the exact same hair texture. My locks are doing the same exact things. I love my hair. I'm loving the process. I don't expect it to be like other peoples locks. Its not suppose to....Great job on sharing your hair story. I am a real fan!
Continuing to love your locs. I’m about to be 7 months and the volume is coming with. I’m just ready to see the length now and definitely about to order one of your shirts!!
Congrats 🎊 on your new endeavor being a Sisterlock trainee!!! Happy Birthday as well 🎂🎁🎉 and a always thanks for sharing your journey w/ us! Okay Length & okay GRID 💕 👍🏾 your progress is impressive and inspirational… I can’t wait to have similar…
Congratulations & belated Birthday wishes @therealkylab, on your new venture of being a Loctician. Hair looking great and thanks for sharing your journey. I will be a 2yr loc’d Silver Queen in October. It was the best hair decision I ever made too!🤗🥰
I see you volume and length!!! Let’s talk about that grid!!! Happy birthday. Will definitely keep you in mind as my back up loctician. Congrats on this next journey and happy birthday
Hi! I recently got sisterlocs and I’m 2 months in. I’m having troubles with unraveling, still trying to hang in there though. You’re locs are gorgeous!!! And did you say you were 29!? Girl you don’t look a day over 21.😮💨❤️
lol. Thank you ! & yes. have a young face. lol Congrats on starting your loc journey! Slippage is common in the beginning. So keep hanging in there! I had slippage for about 4 months. Then mine stopped.
I am so loving your locks! I started mines after finding you and you were the only one I found with low density, and I decided to start my channel because we need representation for the low density girls lol I’m almost 5 months in and the volume is coming!!!
Thank you! & I remember the struggle. I felt like I had to put my journey out there for that exact reason. We need more resources in this category for women with finer hair. Keep making videos! Keep posting! & keep enjoying your journey!
Girl, your locs looked great even before the retie, 8 weeks out? wow... I'm 5 weeks post retie and my locs look a mess (in my opinion) others may say different. I'm almost 9 months in, but I still get some slippage and unraveling at times. My hair has thickened up majorly though, which I'm loving. I'm about to go wash my hair and start my self retie.
if i had a time machine, i would get on it and fast forward to 2022 so my locs could be a year plus and have volume and more length lol. your locs are awesome by the way.
What's the size of your locs. 3/8 or 1/2 ? Is it 4,3, or 2 point rotation??? Your lock are gorgeous. We have the same hair density so you're my hair crush.
My sisterlocks are mostly large with some smaller ones in the front. Your consultant can tell you what size large locs are. I don't remember what size that is right now. & I have a 3 .
I'm referring to the little white bulbs you see in the locs. Like when you have box braids and its time to remove them. There are little white bulbs near the start of your braids that indicate natural hair shedding, or a strand of hair that came out from too much tension. When you have locs, there is nowhere for hair that has shed to go, so they remain in the locs and you can see the little white bulbs that your strands grow from in your throughout your hair.
Question...I had locs years ago and cut them but recently been thinking about sisterlocs....however, can I convert my sisterlocs if I wanted them bigger???
Some strands of hair could be getting loose, or you might need to change your loc pattern in the back. What did your consultant say about it? Have you asked them?
@@TheRealKylaB Thank you for your response. I agree that some strands have gotten loose. My consultant said it was from me washing my hair every week and also from me applying direct heavy water force to the back.

& yeah. I was walking around looking rough in m opinion 😂.
And shout outs to you! Self re-it? How long does it take?
@@TheRealKylaB it takes me a couple days, cause I do it when I have a couple hours free. If I add it all together about 7hrs total; I have 500+ locs.
Happy birthday fellow Virgo!
Thank you! ❤️

When you refer to "follicles in the hair" what is that? BTW very pretty

@@TheRealKylaB lol I won't worry. They'll probably blend in with all that silver you see
How many locs do you have?
Question...I had locs years ago and cut them but recently been thinking about sisterlocs....however, can I convert my sisterlocs if I wanted them bigger???
You can combine them if you want. It’s 100% up to you. 😊
@@TheRealKylaB whats your contact info for a consultation
Yes you combine them
Hi Kyla, I have my sisterlocs for four months now and my biggest problem is bunching in the back rows. Do you know what could be the cause of this?
Some strands of hair could be getting loose, or you might need to change your loc pattern in the back. What did your consultant say about it? Have you asked them?
@@TheRealKylaB Thank you for your response. I agree that some strands have gotten loose. My consultant said it was from me washing my hair every week and also from me applying direct heavy water force to the back.
Ah. Okay. I can see how that could affect your locs that way.
How many do you have?
Did u start with 2strand twist?
No. I started by interlocking.
