i have 10 Orient Star watches, from the cheapest (350 Euro) to the most expensive (1.000 euro) and all of them are just stunning, the finishing is just superb ans they feel so solid, the most expensive has a gorgeous movement with blued screws, deep perlage and very deep stripes on the rotor, i love watching it, ive always thought Orient Star is scamming themselves with those prices hahah, they could cost way more and still be a great deal
I just can't figure out why these dress watches don't get the love that they deserve like their dive watches that people go crazy over Sure would have liked to have seen a bit of a strap show with this winner of a watch Great addition to the collection my friend Thanks for sharing as always and Be well 👍
I agree the white date wheel looks a bit out of place, black with white numerals would probably have been a better choice. However, a date is so important to me that I am willing to overlook that. Beautiful watch. I've wanted to get an orient for years and this might be the one that gets me to pull the trigger. Thank you for sharing it.
This was my first watch! its an isanely good piece. The dial is especially great. But would i but it again for 500. i think not. My San Martin gets all the wristtime.
i have the white dial version, I couldn't get a good bracelet fit so I put it on a vintage leather strap which I actually prefer. It's a great watch, punches way above its price point.
Beautiful piece, the watch case reminds me a bit to some Grand Seiko's. Quality is assured by Orient. Power reserve indicator it's not my cup of tea on that position, Grand Seiko do it much better even Orient Triton is better. The dial although is flawless lacks appeal in my opinion. All in all a pretty special watch.
It's all subjective to one's tastes, but personally I can't stand the windshield wiper power meter that's on these. I wish it weren't on like... all of their watches, and the logo/company name were up there in its place. To each their own though.
in fact, I just bought this watch today, roman numerals don't disturb at all. Watch is reallly really nice. Mine is deep blue color. 12 roman numeral is just like a fullmoon at night,
The power reserve indicator is unnecessarily large and takes up too much space on the dial. I get the utility of it, but this complication is, to me, out of proportion on the dial as a matter of design.
Orient > citizen > seiko Don't know what all the hype is about seiko. They are overpriced overrated junk watches. Clearly people who likes seiko don't know about orient and citizen.

😂😂😂 I'm agree with U
Orient star should've released more of watches like this instead of bunch of skeleton watches, skeletons are cool but we need more practical watches
That’s a beautiful watch. Yeah, Orient seems to be sliding right into where Seiko once used to be. Thanks for the great review as always.
I have the blue no date open heart version.... lovely finished watch.

I have this Orient Star and I really like it, my only criticism is the winding is a little "groinchy".

Hey Orient - are you working on a high beat movement!!! Thanks for review.

Nice watch. well worth the money. On the subject of CWC, i nearly ordered one last night but opted for an Oceanus s100 instead.
Ooooh, an oceanus! I was tempted by one of those too. Hope you enjoy it mate.
@@watchmewithwatches if you want I'll bounce it straight to you for review. I know you're busy but the option is there.
This watch is much better than the SARB. Much better finished case & dial.
Hi there thanks for the review. I'm not buying a watch with split pins again. It's over priced in my opinion

Clasp is very much like Grand Seiko.
Anyone can recommend the best (read: cheapest) place in Europe to buy an Orient Star? Thnx

So, is the Citizen NB1050 also gone? Pity...
That went, just couldn't get it to fit me perfectly in the end
Mine is going +3 sec per day!i think is a matter of luck...
That's great timekeeping!
Sin reserva de marcha sería más bonito
The dial is too busy
It’s a stupid reason but I just won’t buy this because of the Roman numerals. They look terrible.
It’s not a stupid reason. I don’t like it for the exact same reason
I don’t think it’s stupid at all. I don’t really like them either. There are some great watches I won’t buy because of them.

@@RamseyInova Not for me personally mate but glad you are pleased with your new watch, enjoy!

Not just a BOOB,but 4BOOB!🤭
Not less than 500
Mine was. Prices fluctuate all the time!
Don’t see when recently . Unless it was years and years ago
@@eyesoulyou2086 tus watches less than 6 months ago. Prices do vary. Thanks
