You posted this on my birthday thank you
Hi Will
It was great meeting you at the show. Next time, buy your tickets in advance, to save queuing. Thoroughly enjoyed the show. Currently in the States, buying for my HO and N scale collection. Hope to see you at Kingmoor next year.
Superb video, thanks for posting. A joy to watch, great names on the locos and hopefully we get to see Bachmann models of them. Well done DRS for having the open day.
Brilliant video! Was great seeing you there.
Absouletly aweskme video Was great to see you finally one of my inspiration to the model railway world glad you like your MRYCG van I was the one wearing the MRYCG t-shirt
And what a shirt it was! I'm gonna have to get some IC82 ones done haha
Great stuff, Will. That 66 reving up sounded so good. Thanks for sharing!
SUPER video here, Will! T'was a pleasure to meet you and keep up the brilliant work! :-)
Thanks for the comment! And it was definitely a great day! :D
Great video! It was also really nice to meet you in person, hopefully another big meet up from the RUclips community will follow up soon!
Joe
Great video, Will. Looks like it was a great day.
Just a fantastic day out, awesome to meet you and just a great day in general, and I agree with your opinion on the 37 thrash, absolutely amazing noise!
Haha thanks for the comment and yes, that Class 37 trash is wonderful!
I was in Crewe that day! I went to the Crewe Heritage Centre and I was looking into going but to catch the train back to London we wouldn’t have enough time. I can still see it through here though! Great video as always!
my brother and I got some Dublo stuff across the pond here. We're only in our lower 20's and fell in love with it. It's different and much more toy like than the detailed models we tend to see today.
I had to put that segment in - I loved that guy's stall and he was a wealth of info!
Thanks for the mention in the description 😊
Thank you for being there!
Thanks for taking the time out too talk to me and Jacob during the open day it was a pleasure to meet you
And when I told you about the black five coming into Crewe its was in steam
Oh you are welcome, thank you for the comment and you were a wealth of info! Like a walking Wikipedia! haha
InterCity82 I sometimes don't like being a know it all but sometimes I can't help myself haha
Oh and give Craig my regards as well
Fantastic will great seeing you mate
Will fantastic video, and so cool you bumped in to the guys from MRYCG. They are a good bunch.
Hey yeah it was a great day all in all! Good to meet you!
InterCity82 and now I can cheat and say I’ve meet you via proxy. Lol
Great vid! I was there, came up on the charter special which was just as great as the open day itself, picked up a couple of bargains too including a bachmann thumper and a replica class 50 nameplate!
Good man!
Hi intercity I met you at the event (Callum, Mike, and Martin) I watched some videos and loved the inter city 125 keep up the good work :-)
Hey, thank you!
Really enjoyed watching this mate, hopefully I'll be able to attend another year
Phone in sick. Cut power to work. Invent time travel. Do whatever it takes. haha
I personally love that the new 68 and 88s have physical name plates.
Great video mate it was nice to meet you
Lucky buger wish I could of gone ;) very well done Will. Great to see you back in action.
Thank you!
Wish I could have been there to meet all of you, but Orlando Florida is a bit of a trip for a week end.
Looks like you all had a great time.
Chuck
I REALLY wanted to meet you at the open day but I couldn't find you anywhere! great video! your the best!
I'll be at other events too! What a great day, tho hey?!
InterCity82 yes it was a great day. I don't live near Crewe so I probably can't go to other events unless you will go to either the Telford model railway club exhibition in Wellington or the Newtown model railway society exhibition in Welshpool or the Colwyn model railway club exhibition near Llandudno (28th and 29th July 2018) if you will be at one of these please contact me on my you tube channel email address: iliketransport@yahoo.com and we can arrange to meet.
Great video as always, shame I didn’t get chance to meet you whilst there :)
Another great video.

InterCity82 it was mate and I know mad add me on Facebook it's dave spiers on fb 👍👍
Great video of the event, shame I didn't see you but with how busy the event was I could easily have walked straight past and not seen you. Also surprised you didn't go down to the station, had a 37, Black 5 and Jubilee on a move that afternoon, and the railtour for the event with a DRS 68 and 88
My mate Darren got footage of it - I shall upload it to a follow-up video!
Ah nice, real shame I didn't see you though, been a good 5 years or so since we last met. Glad you enjoyed the event :D
Hope you had an awesome day I liked the photos you were putting on twitter
Thank you! I tried to share a fair bit but not too much.

Amazing vid
Great to meet a follow youtuber
Always!
Hi Will looks like I you had a great time. Very nice to be given the van.l believe that they have produced a cream and green. Coach with their logo as well in n. Oo. Gauge see you Albert
Great video WIll
15:12 nice of you to include a clip of my friend josh, I work along side him at the SVR in the TMD
Haha that's so cool!
great vid will defo go to the next one
Definitely recommend them!
Great video! I can see myself at 20:02, I'm standing under the DRS logo on that 66, i look quite young tbh but I am 15 just to reassure you 😂😂
Awesome!
I wish i was here!
Awesome Video @IC82 :)
Thank you!
Awesome
10:39 that loco (37558) that’s my favourite train ever! I Will hopefully be getting the upcoming bachmann release!
Nice video Will!
Sad I missed u great day though nice vid👍👍👍
Thank you!
Fantastic video will it was a pleasure to gift you the van with our logo on your a big inspiration to the Model Railway RUclips Community 👍👍 hope to meet again soon 🎉🎉👌🏻👌🏻
Thank you! It was wonderful to meet you all - I can't wait to see you all again!
InterCity82 yes no problem be amazing to have you on board as a proud member 🎉🎉
Very nice!
Omg I met him I have my name in his video thanks u so much
Thanks Josh
Thank you for being there!
That's quite an event! real trains next to model train vendors! I've never seen so much Hornby Dublo in one shot! I think the Co-Bo class 28 is my favorite Hornby Dublo engine!
9:12 the Transpennie class 68 looks odd without a yellow front! I guess the bright blue is bright enough to not have yellow ends!
10:28 I always like seeing engines that are in BR blue, and are owned by a mainline operator!
16:25 Most American locomotives that are that old (and still in regular service) have been rebuilt and no longer classified as the same class of engine they were when built!
19:49 i'm glad you caught a nameplate unveiling! Not very many American diesel locmotives have official names/nameplates!
20:25 that green passenger car behind you looks neat as well!
27:12 you were lucky to see TWO nameplate unveilings!
Thanks for the comment! And true! haha
I was there on that day when you were going into the class 37
haha...at 3.13 i'm clearly ruining your shot of the 68 with my Dad.....i can't believe you were stood behind me
He replied😃😃
In Chicago, in the 40s, I had an American Flyer stet by Gilbert but I was moved away so I don't know what happened to the set. Just a freight set but...
it was good to be at crewe on the day
Lovely
Ayyy i was in it from 13:12 to 13:20 😂
hello I was there on Saturday.
I was the kid at 13.50
my dad was the guy in the black t shirt and the grey and blue bag
I wish I went I'll go next year
Great
Neat.
Same I am a little bit sad that I didn’t see you maybe at Carlisle next year I might see you if you go.
I shall be attending other events too - for sure.
unfortunately I couldn't make it but I did go at some point but when I cant remember
i wish i could have helped make it even more special, but i couldn't find you! maybe next year!
Next time I shall wear an IC82 top haha
Ha ha, I will carry a large placard saying: I really want to meet IC82. Then you will find me!
Wow cool I wish I was you :(
Did you buy one of the Hornby OO locos
Must of missed you
There is always a next time :)
Where is it
Damn I missed it and I only live like half an hour away!
The reason I missed it was because I’m in Wales at the moment
It was a good day out - hope you enjoyed the video! (And Wales?) haha
I saw you out near the burger vans around half 2 I was sat on the nearest table to you. Were you talking with moleman978 at the time?
Can actually see me on the left side in the brown and yellow t shirt at 9:50
Haha! I think I was talking to James for quite some time, yes.
InterCity82 yeah I was going to say hi to yous but didn't get chance to
I went there
I went to the kingmore open day and was planning to go to crew but i had other things on
😞
Intercity82 I was there but I entirely missed you but u ended up getting my friend in the video lol
Haha! I bet there's quite a few who are int he video but don't know it - and am sure we can meet at another event!
InterCity82 yh well there's another drs open day in Carlisle next year which I could be going to so that could be a good place
Great Video, Thanks For The Shoutout 😀
You are welcome!
Where was this ?
You going this year?
Well the detailing is good but I bet those aren't spring buffers.
A common comment
How can you were a jacket in this weather lol.
Haha it was a thin one. Very thin - perfect for a cloudy day which we did have on the day in the end.
Ello
I was going but forgot I was going to a wedding
Only if it was your own is that an excuse.
InterCity82 its was my cousins if that counts I literally live in crewe about 5 mins drive from there and trident trains is my local model shop
Some beautiful locomotives. So happy to see that the old British stalwarts are still going. I think the British tax payer did get value for money there!
Haha very true!
Shame I missed you
I will be at other events too. Promise.
InterCity82 ok we are doing a 30th anniversary at the heritage centre soon
He walked behind me while I was looking at some bachmann locos
Trains
Great video, and it was nifty to see myself in it when you met the MRYCG members.
Nice to see how impressed you were with my Heljan class 33 there... however, that's an old model with not much more than a fancy paint job.
I've been working though a series of videos modifying a class 33/2... however, I'm actually working on 6 locos at the same time so it's taking time so I've only done three episodes so far.
Part 1: Description and disassembly:
ruclips.net/video/XM5HG4-VMRs/видео.html
Part 2: Soldering the roof fan etch:
ruclips.net/video/V5k0ZTF7FiY/видео.html
Part 3: Roof preparation:
ruclips.net/video/tF_S2Nq8qdI/видео.html
The next one will be how I convert a 33/1 into a 33/0 (the Heljan 33/0 has some glitches, so it's easier to work from the 33/1 body).
