DMU Day - Running a few locos at Eastgate TMD - OO Gauge Model Railway.

- After quite a lengthy break I've finally got back on the layout and filmed some trains on my Micro Layout - Eastgate TMD. Various DMU movements and a few passing locos pulling into & leaving the Yard.
A mixture of loco sounds and sound effects, great fun to edit & put together.

Great to see the latest update Andy - looking really good. I've always struggled to get excited about multiple units on the real network because they are everywhere, but that's precisely why I love them in model form - they are essential and really bring layout to life. Bachmann do a great job of pretty much every multiple unit they've ever made and you've done a good job of weathering them - DMUs in the 80s were never clean.
Hi Colin, hope you are well. Yes, I'm very fond of my Bachmann DMU collection, reminds me of back in the 80's riding on these on the Calder Valley Line & over to Leeds. Wonderful details everywhere you seem to look, from the the track and lineside cabinets! Brilliant stuff.

Love my DMU's mate, takes me back to my Rail Riders days around West Yorkshire. I've got a big thing for the 1980's cars as well, passed my test in a Maestro !! Thanks for your kind comment..Andy
@@Andy-SharlstonEastgate - yeah I used the cross city line/Birmingham all DMUs. Holidays in Wales all DMUs. Passed my test in a Metro!
I went to the Llangollen railcar weekend last October, they have a fine selection of DMUs running there. I went on my own and spent all day, and I mean all day riding the rails in all these different trains & I loved it, took me right back.
I’ve only got a 121 on my layout as I model up to date modern Image, but watching your videos has made me want to buy a blue & grey DMU!

Great Andy enjoyed watching it. The layout is looking top notch with all the scenics done and I did like the background sounds, oh apart from the dog barking, it set mine off😂. Great video cheers Andy
Thanks Andy, I'm far from finished with the scenics but I've not had the time to progress, I try to mask the unfinished bits :) Hopefully I'll get time to sort a bit more soon. I did enjoy adding the extra sound effects to this one. Many thanks for watching my friend & all the best...Andy
