A: Go and buy a new train! ahahah
The video is an IC82 first, in that I take the camera in the car with me! Join me as I head to Trident Trains to find a new train I'd like to treat myself to.

The hornby terrier is amazing detail and a stunning runner it’s totally worth it 👍 it’s surprisingly strong as well the railroad class 90 is decent as well

Unfortunately I've been priced out of model railways and had to move on to something cheaper.
the bulk boxes of random trains at train shows is your friend.
Not here in Australia they're not. Everyone overprices everything on the secondhand market.
It isn't cheap. I shall focus more on layouts now, rather than buying endless locos.

@@InterCity82 Hi Will, great to hear from you. Helen and I live near Beenleigh which is half way between Brisbane and the Gold Coast in South East Queensland. We have family in Hampshire and Cheshire and our eldest son started working for Rolls Royce in Derby in January so we have lots of ties still with the UK and try to come over every 3 years. Should be over again in 2022. Hope all is well with you and that you can continue posting. Always enjoyed the old days and still watch some of the classics like the working GPO set review. You can see a little of my layout on my small RUclips channel. Cheers

I’m not entirely a fan of the vlog style video but I believe that you should make the videos you want to make. At the end of the day, your the most important person here and if people don’t like it, they don’t have to watch it. Great to see you back and well Will. Take it at your own pace and can’t wait to see the review on that lovely train pack!

Yes, a lot carries on moving forward when time as stood till for over a year. Interesting to do a similar look back in 18 months time, to see what trains will still be running and which ones have gone to the wall, as you have just summed up the passed 18 months... I know how you feel mate. I lost my dad and he was my best friend. My biggest supporter and every single part of my life. That hole will never be filled and I miss him every single day of my life. When he was alive I was a prison officer. He’d be so proud at what I’m doing now and he’s not here for it. It’s a massive shame. I hope where ever he is he can watch me make a success of it and make him proud.

Good to have you back will! If you want to expand the Shakespeare set hattons are splitting the 3 coaches from the set for £70 if you wanted to expand it to a more realistic length.

“The Joy and Excitement you get when buying a brand new train” out of the 4 locos I’ve bought 2 I’ve had to send back to be replaced and one has a minor fault that I can live with. So no mainly stress and disappointment for me, well luck has got to change sometime.
