Goosebumps every time I hear this!
Morgan Freeman's delivery, combined with this inspirational video moved me enough to have this poem tattooed on my back.
To this day the greatest rugby promo I've ever seen
most epic minute and a half in rugby!!!
Morgan freeman should open the rugby world cup!
the welsh dragon tops it of by a million times more no question about it
rugby is not just a game .. it´s a lifestyle !!
give blood-play rugby !!!
That was completely awsome from top to bottom... but it would have been cooler if they showed a bunch of highlanders charging down a field or mountain er some thing like that
like this one very much
nice one! couldnt work it out my self!
Bet freeman never knew that poem for 6 nations. Unless he saw it on utube of course
Well he played the writer in a movie, so might have some idea.
@CeeDeeBeeZ wheres the link for it then? this is far better.
May I see it?
All u Rugby fans that say Six Nations is incomparable hav clearly never seen Rugby League's STATE OF ORIGIN. STATE Vs STATE, MATE Vs MATE.
What music is that at 1:20. It sounds familiar
Hans zimmer infection
The Welsh dragon is so cool, that combined with the music sends shivers down my spine. It's a shame the Welsh team don't play like dragons all the time!
@rfu100 the shooting season. lol
any one know wat the background music is for this
bryn3000 it's Injection by Hans Zimmer from the Mission: Impossible 2 soundtrack
lol six nations.
BY WILLIAM ERNEST HENLEY
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul.
I've never been one that's into poetry, but this is one that has always hit me the hardest. You can take all the faith you want into your god/gods, but at the end of the day, you're the one that is there to forge your own destiny
Don't think he really fit this poem
@dnyz123 we're not the ones that lie all over a player once they're tackled, nor do we take 6 shots at penalty goal and 4 field goals in a match. we actually play a real game, last time i checked the team with the most points wins the game, i'm also pretty sure that a try is worth more than a penalty goal. Fans don't want 2 c hot, sweaty guys jumping on top of each other. RUGBY LEAGUE IS A REAL SPORT
