The Boqvist goal was nasty. But I feel like there was a missed opportunity here. You mentioned that Lehner didn't even react to the puck, but you should have played the Devil's play-by-play audio. The announcer didn't even think he had scored initially. Took him a minute to realize what happened, as well.
Underrated highlights you should also check out (not sure if they're hat pick worthy, but they were pretty good). Check out some of the highlight-reel saves that Hammond made against Vegas. A lot of really good opportunities for the Golden Knights, and Hammond stood on his head for most of them.

@@mattskillz48 I hear ya. It's been another rough year. I think Steve said it in a previous hat picks video, that the Devils keep adding good quality pieces to the team and making little (if any) progress. We'll see their potential in spurts throughout the year, but just not able to find any consistency. Goaltending is no different, in that regard.

amusingly enough it takes two entire syllables to convey that in finnish, so it's a rare case of finnish communication being swift

Jätä being the most likely one and most used in hockey, atleast when communicating to your goalie to leave it.
Move it would be ”pelaa” or ”pistä” pelaa meaning ”play it” and ”pistä” signaling to pass, or more literally ”put it” towards you.

I remember seeing a game in which Minnesota North Stars goalie Cesar Maniago had the puck shot on him from distance, he gloved easily and dropped it to play it, but noticed that the opposing team had all peeled off to cover the Minnesota players. So Maniago started skating straight up the ice as fast as he could, carrying the puck. He got to centre ice, put the puck over the centre ice line, and shot it down to the far end of the ice.
Almost like that time Roy did a random spin-o-rama while taking the puck past center ice against the rangers years ago

To be honest I feel both Producer drew and Steve are more hesitant or strict on their own teams for hat picks. Since it might appear favoritism or bias. So something has to be extremely amazing or history making to appear on here. But do agree on Myers though. For rookie to score on less 3-4 min of first NHL appearance on amazing goalie and team is praiseworthy. Not many rookies do this and to do so at end of season where teams are developed and preparing for playoffs.
As a wild fan, I'm still bitter about this. I'm happy for him, but I'm still going to pout lol

A lot more hat picks for the wild I feel. Fiala with a 4 point night against the sharks to help clinch a playoff spot, Kaprizov(most goals) and Zuccarelo(most assists) both break franchise records in the same night. Also I can't remember, but in case you didn't show it in another video Kaprizov has also broken the franchise record for most points in a season.

Even every Blues fan was talking about it. He had three bad, injury-plagued seasons by his standard. Also no one has come back from three surgeries on the same shoulder and regained their form. So glad we were all wrong and Army didn’t trade him.
@@Blackgold1155 I was hoping the rangers would trade for him, a good Russian replacement for Buchnevich, but I’m happy for him. He earned a good season after those surgery issues

Barkov is an absolute beast
The people who’ve been calling Laf a bust have both not been watching him (or his stats) and frankly just hate the Rangers, usually due to divisional rivalry. He’s been fantastic in his nearly 2 seasons here and is actually the leading even strength goal scorer for NYR since last season. He’s constantly improving and it’s awesome to watch.
And that's while being in the 3rd or 4th line with less toi than most other players
Speaking of Jeannot in Pittsburgh, his entire sequence of his, fight and receipt on his next shift was amazing.

@@karldamus5124 he played 2 games by this point after leading the team to the finals in the previous season. He hasn't had a chance to get in the flow on a team whose tanking the season. Can't say "terribly" with that set of circumstances.

I'm not mad, I know why this wasn't included but it was still awesome. Canes vs. Avs, Martinook takes a wide open shot that Kuemper ROBS, then unfortunately Aho scores on the rebound but the initial save is ridiculous, better than anything I saw here. It wasn't a hat pick because they scored anyway but dude that was a robbery.
