Hellburgs save on the goal line isn't a hat pick I guess.. Same with the Sanderson pass to Brady Tkachuk or Pinto picking dallas' pocket and sniping it. I've come to expect it at this point so it's whatever. Still would have been nice to see at least 1 of those plays make it. Maybe we should just dress the Sens in Leafs jersies so Steve notices. 😅

Oh man, you missed Yanni Gourde's soccer play in that game against the Blues. Everyone in the arena, no matter what jersey they were wearing, was standing up laughing and cheering. It was great.
I have been watching Steve's Hat Picks for a year and a bit now. As a Habs fan, I was able to watch that game against Arizona, and when I saw Suzuki score that penalty shot, I watched the replay and thought to myself, "That's a hat-pick..." that goal was just..... beautiful and cruel all at once.
I'm a habs fan but from the UK so I have to stay up stupid late for games, I heard this goal over the radio stream but when I saw the clip my jaw dropped so fast it was unreal. I just hope we keep seeing these flashes of brilliance from him as he keeps developing
@@chriscollins2147 I agree. There is some real positive results for rhe Habs so far this season. It is very exciting to see what will come of the team over the next few years.
@@toddantoine8085 there really is. With JS getting used to the league pretty well, AX making the statements he's made recently, we have new young talent to be excited about. That will support the likes of Caufield, Gallagher and Suzi with Drouin doing his thing on the wings too. Its going to be a hard year in terms of results, but 3-5 years and we'll be contending again

I would like to see a bit of Arber Xhekaj (or whatever). That dude wasnt drafted (and if I am not wrong he was passed on even in his first CHL draft) in covid he has been doing burgers, from nowhere gets a contract with the Canadiens makes the team, beats Kassian up and he has also scored his first career goal against Arizona. He has 3 points thus far (is it 6 games?) which is i believe the best from MTL D-men............wow
Xhekaj is slowly becoming my favorite MTL defenseman. He does mistakes here and there, but he's overall very reliable, big, physical and intimidating.
I'm not saying he's going to become a top 10 league defenseman, but I'd be happy if he can provide 5 goals / 15-20 assists a year while being this intimidating.
And to say two years ago he was working in a Costco... Lol
Binner switched to those new pads in the middle of the year last year to try to turn his season around.

Stunned we didn't get the Andrei Svechnikov hat trick in this video. He scored two of the goals basically within a minute of each other. What does he have to do?
I will say, Steve noticed that Binnington’s pads were new but not the new goalie mask he wears. I love the new design because he put the Grim Reaper on one side and the Buddha on the other to signify that he’s trying to change and be a less aggressive person. It’s great and feels like it needs to be highlighted more because all everyone does is call him a hothead when he’s trying to be more that just that

Dang-it ( I don't do Twitter) Oct 25., Apr 5 minutes left in the first period. (Rangers vs. Aves.) One of the Rangers served 2 minutes for high sticking NOBODY. It turns out that it was Toews stick that actually high sticked Makar. But since it was a 2:00 minute call, it couldn't be reviewed (??). Avalanche got a 2 min. power play . Shesterkin got not tending his goal at 19:00 3rd period.
I think the Senators need a bit more representation... I know they don't have a lot of fans but at least they're finally a bit better and every game I've watched there's at least one hat pick candidate, especially from the goalies. Problem is nobody watches the Senators so nobody suggests them. I don't use Twitter so I can't suggest anything but if anybody reads this - Sens need more representation!!
