Whether it is your team or not, if you're a hockey fan you HAVE to appreciate a great play when you see it. I still remember being at the game where Ovi scored that crazy falling down, over the head goal against my Yotes... whole place had to watch that on replay to realize what happened, but everyone still gave him a big cheer after seeing it because it was so amazing.

I'd just like to say that while it's entirely appropriate to talk about what wasn't talked about, in this context it's also entirely appropriate not to talk about it. @@dscullion13 The short answer is that because of current world events, Ovechkin's support for and relationship with Putin (and I don't know or make any assumption as what that may or may not be) is in serious question. It is an extremely complex situation that Ovechkin, the Capitals, and the NHL are trying not to talk about. And while the questions are serious ones that should be asked, there are plenty of forums, such as this one, where it is perfectly okay not to ask those questions or address those issues.

well, maybe it'll be in Dang-its. but was really hoping to see Marchand's OT winner against the Canadiens. Faked a defender and the goalie out of position for an easy save, but even better than that, Eric Haula's dance after the goal. maybe we'll get to see it in Dang-it's simply because of how much work the Canadien's goalie put in the whole 2nd period and most of the third.

Kinda bummed that Claude Giroux's 2 pt, 1000th (and last) game with the Flyers didn't make the cut :(

Per Caufield: if he finishes the season at the same pace as he’s had for February & March, he’d be close to a 25 goal, 55 point pace.
