Perfect. I would only add Worcestershiresauce for a deep rich flavour.

The tip about browning in batches is key because too much in the pan results in stewing and not browning. I’ve leaned this the hard way. And chili on pasta is awesome. I also use it instead of enchilada sauce. In lettuce wraps also works.

Thank you for this great recipe. The only thing I changed was using green bell pepper (diced) rather than the minced jalapeños.
Everyone enjoyed it and asked for the recipe.

I never understood removing the seeds and membrane from a jalapeno. I know that's where the heat is, but isn't that the point of eating them?

My favorite toppings are fresh chives, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and Frito's Corn Chips. Maybe some fresh onion too.
After watching this tonight I need to make some. Than you for this video!!!

Looks tasty, and I'm gonna give it a try. If I'm leaving beef to simmer for 2 hours, I usually use some chuck beef as well for some chunkiness....

Looks great! Except I’ll be using leftover brisket that I did on my smoker, to me that makes the best chili.

Hey, I know it's additional work for you, perhaps some will say I'm to lazy to do that myself, but I think this way you'll reach to more viewers. And I gotta tell you, your recipes are amazing!
So to the question, could you, when listing down all the ingredients, add also metric amounts? like "1(15-ounce / ~440ml) can tomato sauce"
    Thanks

easy hack for jalapeño: before cutting the top part, rub it fast with your hands, then cut off the top part then the seeds will fall out, then scoop the white part out.

Hi. I'm in Australia and here, "tomato sauce" means ketchup. Like if I go to the store and buy something labeled as "tomato sauce", I'm coming home with a ketchup. And I doubt I should use ketchup in this recipe. So what may I use in place of it? Can of crushed tomatoes? Or perhaps tomato puree? Please help.

I would think puréed tomatoes would be very similar to tomato sauce.

you should try spreading the meat on a baking sheet and then stick it under the broiler. will get one side nice a brown. then just tear it apart

He puts the ingredients in the drop-down menu, I'm actually making it today for the second time it's a great chili tweak it to your taste, add what you want or disregard what you don't want simple as that. I actually use beef broth to rinse out the cans instead of water as a good tip.

Not to be petty, but if you have the knife skills, Finley dice garlic & jalapeños with the paring knife not the chef knife.
