Yes, that is so true. The owner, Matt, is sitting in jail because he didn’t go to the court when the case went to trial. He had sexually abused one girl in the bar, he was arrested. He was put out on bond and when his case came up, Matt didn’t show up. So he was off to jail. And they closed up Oface. I say GOOD RIDDANCE!!!!!

I have worked almost half of my life in the hospitality industry. If you are doing your job properly, there is no reason to be scared of John Taffer or Gordon Ramsay.

The funniest Bar Rescue episode for me was when Jon was at Fairways Bar and Grill in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and he went in the walk-in fridge and saw those mushrooms growing in it. Once he made his way to the front counter, he shoves a whole bunch of food off the counter, shouting, "NOBODY. EATS. THIS FREAKING FOOD!!!"
I literally feel like John Taffer dodged a huge bullet with the oface bar. I heard later that Matt was charged for attempted rape against one of his employees has to register as a sex offender. To make it even crazier I found out the bar was still going after so many years, even during the pandemic, when some bars that he rescued in the past, didn’t survive the pandemic. It’s still remains even when there was an armed robbery that took place there I’m surprised that literally the place is still out there. I even still visited on the website and there’s nothing on it being closed.
O’Face was actually the true worst bar, not even Pirates Tavern got close. Plus the owners after they closed pirates tavern, they opened another bar with John’s ideas and they are actually successful and going strong. But O’Face? Jesus
The show sure is addictive. After seeing one episode, I can't help but be glued to the television set by waiting for the next episode. Bar Rescue is funny, educational, confrontational and moving at times.
I used to watch and like the show. Spike shows toooo many commercials. They show a scene and when they come back from commercial theyve they've completely cut parts of the show necessary to the the story. Did i mention they show 10 minutes of commercial and 1 minute and a half of ahow. No Spike for me.
From what I have seen seeing the show, I think the Pirate Bar was the worst. The pirate theme seemed stupid especially since it was located in an area with a lot of office buildings. I like Jon’s idea or a business theme.
Yeah but they were just really stupid. But at least they weren’t violent and abusive towards their staff or even have such a fucked kitchen that had fungus grow in the fridge.

Indeed. he was one of the guys in the room that came up with NFL Sunday Ticket. It was created to help bars, but ended up being popular in the home market too. I don't really enjoy the NFL at all, but you can't deny they are light years ahead of NBA, NHL, and especially MLB when it comes to promotion, presentation, and the business side of things

I know a lot of this show is staged but it still makes for some great entertainment and I’m not usually into “reality TV”.
