She was wrong about half of what she said...not all illegals broke a law to come here, about half overstayed a visa after legal entry, and that is not a crime, but a civil infraction. Further, the law does not say it is crime to just be here illegally to begin with: ""Undocumented presence in the United States is only criminally punishable if it occurs after an individual was previously formally removed from the United States and then returned without permission." So, until they are deported once, those who crossed that border are guilty of a civil infraction, which is not a matter for criminal courts, and only immigration courts. She sounds confident...but on the major points there, she's wrong. However, I'm sure the rest of what she said had validity.
