How the first one transformed from flat colours to having depth was so cool to see. I also liked the second one and the power of negative space. Thank you.
Now, I actually feel like coloring in some of those expensive coloring books I've been collecting. These techniques have gotten me excited to try them out. Thank you so much for sharing.
Loved the first technique mixing the marker and coloured pencil mediums. Thank you Becca for introducing us to Maggie. Maggie’s colouring techniques are brilliant and her nails are still looking fabulous 😉
NEVER dreamed “coloring” could offer such possible techniques!!! So enjoyed #1, yet all 3 techniques are EXQUISITE! THANK YOU for sharing so many ARTEZA products f
I really like the third technique of using only two shade of one colour. Simple, yet with the white in between it looks very elaborated. Thanks for sharing all those techniques!
How fun! I love the first technique but the second one I will always gravitate to as well, just as I did on her first video. Thank you for sharing your talents!
Thank you so much for designing an exquisite coloring system for those of us with limited budgets and even more limited space. This simple set of tools has so much potential without being the least bit intimidating. You've kept the fun in coloring while helping hobbyists reach new skill heights we never expected to master. Bravo!
I will definitely try the first technique but I do a lot of Zentangle so the 2nd technique is a winner for me. Filling space with a black pen is so relaxing and calming to my mind and it can “take me away.” I know I will love your new book and the new colored pens also!
I’m learning self reflexology ( for chronic pain) signed up to learn calligraphy so I can complete 3.grandma to grandchild journals in beautiful writing, and now I’d like to try this adult colouring. I’m self healing from a traumatic rare condition and have lost a lot of mobility. This activity along with calligraphy and self healing is just perfect for me to remain focused learn something new quieten the mind. Beautiful stunning designs I can’t wait to try.
All three were lovely, but I especially love that with the second one you reminded all that you don't have to stick with what is on the page, you can fill in your own illustrations as you see fit. As an aspiring illustrator I need help stepping out of my box sometimes. Lovely work, thank you both!
I’m a long term fan of gel pens! So my favourite new technique is using the two glitter gel pens. Gosh it looks so elegant & looks much quicker too (which appeals to me because I’ve been struggling with my mental health). I can’t wait to try them out! Thanks Maggie & Becca.
So sorry to hear you've been struggling. When things are tough I definitely find a lot of peace and meditation in creating art and just playfully experimenting. I hope it helps, if only a little. xo
Oh my gosh! Ladies!!! The very best! Is the layering in the first! Eye opening! Gorgeous colors! Sooooo absolutely beautiful.. ordering the set for girlfriend gifts also. So relaxing with such a beautiful finish available to us. LOVE the QRT color guide ideas!
What a great idea to include the QR code to get you to the color pallet sample. I like the technique of combining markers and colored pencils for the shading, texture and interest. This takes coloring books to a whole new level. Such a fun demonstration to watch!
I loved them all, but the first one would be the one that I would find most applicable for what I do. It looked so intricate, but yet was not that complicated! Thank you!
Loved this so thank you Becca for hosting and to Maggie for the great tips. The first two techniques were great and I really liked how they turned out but my favourite was the third technique - I have never seen anything like that, so simple and so effective. I don’t remember that we had anything like glitter pens when I grew up in the 60’s and 70’s but I love them now. Thanks again, Flis 💖 PS, hope all is going well for you and your family Becca.
the blending of the watercolor pens and pencils was for sure my favorite however am always a huge fan of black and white also. So hard to choose! Thank you so much for sharing these ideas for us to dive into.
I was fascinated by all of Maggie's techniques, but my favorite was the second. I will definitely be trying to fill in negative spaces soon! Thanks! And welcome back Becca!!! Hope all is going well, and we'll see you again soon.
I really love the first technique where you can mix markers, color pencil and gel pens. I never thought of mixing those. It's amazing how they blend together.❤
I thought all three techniques were amazing and something that I want to try. My absolute favorite was the second technique. Gorgeous! Thank you for teaching us.
Thank you for sharing these techniques. My favorite is the mixed media for the first demonstration, though I love the creative designs in the second, too. I look forward to putting this all into practice. Good to see you back, Becca!
So good to have you back Becca. All of Maggies work was amazing but I think the third technique was different and doable. It was original and had limited supplies. I love the first one but would be intimidated to do mixed media of an entire page. This book is amazing and I love all the features like the flat pages but specially the color key feature. Thanks for these little patterns little lessons.
28:09 I have loved coloring all my life! I love how you can blend the markers and pencils. Absolutely beautiful colors. Also love the gel glitter pens added to the flowers!
I loved all three techniques, and will try them out myself, but the one that really captivated me was the first one where Maggie used layers with watercolor markers and coloring pencils and blended them together.
The mixture of color pencils, n markers! I’m so happy I found BOTH OF YALL! I just began Calligraphy and now starting to incorporate flowers and do wreaths! I have a long ways to go but with you ladies I can definitely get there sooner !!!! Lol
What a wonderful surprise with all the techniques shown for a wonderful coloring book. Thank you can't wait to try all the techniques. I loved them all, can't say which is a favorite. Again thank you for sharing with us all!
I have to say I was drooling over how beautiful the first technique came out. I had no idea you could use marker over color pencil! It’s so beautiful! I can’t wait to try it!
OMG ❤️ technique No. 1 blew my mind! Adding details in the white space of technique No. 2 is the bestest most awesome way of making color pages unique! I must feel the quality of this paper 😍 thank you for sharing these techniques!
I adore how she used twimarkers and colored pencils!!! That was my favorite! I learned how to do the black background and white highlights from her last video with you!!!!! Pick me, pick me, my Lord!!!🤚🏻🙋🏼♀️
#1 for the combination and blended of mediums. Love the black and white with #2. #3 because it feels like what I often do in doodling in random situations.
I love the way the colors meld together, they are so pretty! I'm going to have to get out my colors and get some pens. Coloring has been one of my favorite things to do ever since I was a little girl.
Love the blending and shading of the first technique, but I'm eager to try all three. Maggie, putting the little scan boxes in your coloring book is sheer genius! What a help for those of us who don't know our flowers!
I really liked the first technique in how you used both markers and colored pencils. I also like the third one. The way you used metallic gel pens for shading was 🤯.
I love the black and gold. The mixed media coloring was full of amazing tips. The glitter gel pens are a fun idea too. I love your art style. These 2 video have been very inspiring. Thanks to both of you.
WOW! Alll of these techniques are so creative. I love adding additional elements to a coloring page, so my favorite was the second. But, the full color mixed media option was also a stunner! Thank you so much for sharing!
I love the first technique to bring shape, I too love using different (opposing) colours to create shade and light. The book looks fab! Congratulations on it's release. 👏👏
I loved to learn, I just started to colour and I am a little afraid of mess up the beautiful pages. But I think the black and gold was a favorite, that result with so "simple" technique, whao.
Don't be afraid! All pages are meant to be messed up, experimented on and used however your heart desires. Don't leave those poor pages sitting blank and alone: have some fun! xoxo
Absolutely loved the first book and techniques! I honestly can't wait to try the first new technique, but my heart loves the second - black & white & gold (or silver too!) Thank you Maggie & Becca for more fun to try.
Thank you so much for sharing your techniques with us. I especially love the black and white with a touch of color but I also love your color blending techniques!
OMG I needed to see this. I'm not really a coloring book person, but this one....Tropical....I need to see. I already have and use daily.....Arteza water-based pens/markers, and I lay them over colored pencils to create watercolor illustrations. The pens were a game changer. A little water makes them come alive and they move beautifully. Can't wait to see this book. Those colored pencils look.....AMAZING!!
As I am watching this, Maggie's second book just showed up on my doorstep!!! I thought it was hilarious ;) :) :) and I loved the very last simple technique for sure :) just beautiful!
Wow!! Who knew you could do all of that. They are all amazing. The B&W I so simple but so pretty. I don’t typically think like that. I think the first one was my favorite. I love to know how I can better my artwork by the shading aspect. Thank you for sharing with us!! 💗💗💗💗💗
My favorite technique was the second one. The black with gold accents is so elegant and looks relatively easy to make. I don't have a lot of coloring experience, but I want to try it.
I love the first technique with the beautiful multi media blends topped off with a gel pen highlight. I will bring that back to my art journal and have a play! Thank you for sharing and congrats on your new book! 🎉
WoW, I love the colors but the black and white technique blew my mind! I really like sketching but never thought about it in a coloring book. I can't wait to try it.
As someone who loves colored pencils I love the reminder of how much a black pen can do!!!
I absolutely just love watching her use all these techniques. Can't wait to see her do more. I just can not pick a favorite of the three techniques.
Ummm, what rock have I been sleeping under?? I have never been exposed to this type of coloring. I esp. love the black/gold. New hobby for me!!
Yay! Enjoy!
I was amazed with the first technique. It looked so overwhelming yet so simple when broken down.
Yes, a perfect way to dive back into those pages. Thanks for viewing and I hope you have fun trying them out!
I loved the first technique. So cool to see everything come together as the layers blend.
I'm amazed that with 3 mediums layered you can make an awesome colorfuling like these! Thrall you soooo much for sharing!
Loved the first technique mixing the marker and coloured pencil mediums. Thank you Becca for introducing us to Maggie. Maggie’s colouring techniques are brilliant and her nails are still looking fabulous 😉

The first technique is my absolute favorite. The blending is so beautiful and dimensional. I have 3 daughters so the pinks really draw my eye!
NEVER dreamed “coloring” could offer such possible techniques!!! So enjoyed #1, yet all 3 techniques are EXQUISITE! THANK YOU for sharing so many ARTEZA products f
It's fun to think outside the box. Enjoy!
My favorite was the second technique!! Simple. Elegant. Beautiful.
Love the black and white technique. It makes the flower pops so much.
I really like the third technique of using only two shade of one colour. Simple, yet with the white in between it looks very elaborated. Thanks for sharing all those techniques!
Can’t wait to try the multimedia technique - stunning! Congratulations on the gorgeous new book Maggie!
Thank you
The first technique was awesome!! I never thought of using the watercolor marker to blend
Honestly I hadn't either. I was testing materials and I GASPED at the results!
I loved the black and white technique. The thought of being able to personalize the image and then make it sparkle with the gold pen.
I never would have thought to use markers with colour pencils! I loved seeing this.
Absolutely Beautiful All 3 are amazing but the pink-peach-yellow was my favorite! TU so much for the tips to try my hand at coloring these!
I loved the first technique! Great fun!
How fun! I love the first technique but the second one I will always gravitate to as well, just as I did on her first video. Thank you for sharing your talents!
Was that the patterned orb one? I love that one. Thanks for viewing and for the kind words!
I loved all 3 renditions and it was so hard to choose one, but if I had to choose just one, I think my favorite would be #2.
Thank you so much for designing an exquisite coloring system for those of us with limited budgets and even more limited space. This simple set of tools has so much potential without being the least bit intimidating. You've kept the fun in coloring while helping hobbyists reach new skill heights we never expected to master. Yes! It's so important to me to provide options that don't break the bank. So glad you enjoyed.
I loved all the techniques, but the black and white with gold blew me away. Thx so much for the ideas.
The black, white, and gold is so simple but it pops so much. I can't wait to try it
I loved the first technique. Laying the colors gives the flowers so much dimension. Thank you!
I will definitely try the first technique but I do a lot of Zentangle so the 2nd technique is a winner for me. Filling space with a black pen is so relaxing and calming to my mind and it can “take me away.” I know I will love your new book and the new colored pens also!
Yes, there's something so satisfying about totally changing a page with just a single pen.
Markers and pencils. So gorgeous! Such a simple concept for a fabulous result.
First time I’m seeing these techniques. I will be watching for more coloring videos. I like the negative technique because it suddenly comes to life!
I loved the black and white technique! So beautiful! I never thought of coloring like that. Maggie, you are super talented!

I loved the first technique the most, so colourful and I’d be so impressed if I could make mine look anywhere as good as that
All three were lovely, but I especially love that with the second one you reminded all that you don't have to stick with what is on the page, you can fill in your own illustrations as you see fit. As an aspiring illustrator I need help stepping out of my box sometimes. Lovely work, thank you both!

Oh thank you. It felt so risky not being sure if people would embrace it. But so far I'm just thrilled and overwhelmed with the feedback!
I loved them all, but the first one would be the one that I would find most applicable for what I do. It looked so intricate, but yet was not that complicated! Thank you!
