- I was not expecting this, but as soon as I saw it, i knew i was gonna draw on it. And I wanted to to try to with my markers. Riddled with excitedment, can't wait to show you everything. the good and the band. Hopefully it holds up and survives to be my 28th completed sketchbook.

Omg i always want to make a sketchbook aesthetic but i feel kinda stressed if that sketchbook is really good, and i end up kinda you know, ruining my sketchbook atleast thats what i used to think, but sketchbooks are to make art, and now after i done some pages in the sketchbook i dont feel bad or stressed anymore that im going to ruin it, i realised it
@@mal3373 I have so many (mostly) empty sketch books. I like drawing but I'm afraid to waste the paper. 😭 To this date I've never filled a single sketchbook.

Just an idea for the backs of the pages: I like to use matte paint, whether acrylic, acryla gouache, or even a light coat of gesso in any color, and then draw or paint on top of that. Any shadowing that happens on the back is uniform and doesn't interfere, and you can use all the pages.

Watercolor ground would work too, than she could use gouache or watercolor in the sketchbook

The finished piece gives me so much spring nostalgia! It brings back memories of Easter egg hunts and running through our back yard barefoot.

I love how the sketchbook cover xame out. It's so pretty. The bunny also looks so adorable with the yellow ribbon around its neck. The character is so adorable. She looks like she's a mix between Mirabel and Dolores from Encanto which I love. 🤩🤩🤩

I started watching your channel just this past year, and you have reminded me how art is supposed to be fun and enjoyable. I haven’t picked up a pencil in so long until I began binge watching your videos. You give me so much inspiration and have me wanting to finally go after my long life dream of actually completing a sketchbook. I feel my problem was always wanting my art to be a finished piece and I just wasn’t happy with that method. I remember why I fell in love with art again, just to doodle and sketch. I stumbled across this account, and fell in love! I love how relaxed you keep your explanations and show how you simply just flow with each thing you draw. I have always struggled drawing people, but found that with your relaxed way of doing things -- I found my ability to do it! It was so much easier than I was ever taught (using the more "detailed" stuff like exact measurements) I found so much joy in drawing my first OC!!! It was awesome! Thank you for these videos -- I've been watching your videos on playlist mode and getting ideas from EACH, keep up the awesome videos! I love it :)
