They give me the vibes of a young teens tv show about three unlikely friends finding a cyborg who escaped a lab and decide to hide him from his creators and help him live a normal life while failing at avoiding shenanigans.

I can see a story where Jaylen's found by the other three and they bond over hanging out with their cool robot friend and trying to teach him about being a teenager. Looking at Clint and Leah, I can sort of see a scenario where they're cousins and since Leah's such a star-student, Clint is a bit spiteful of her and all the comparisons he'd get from being related to her and him struggling in school, which leaves a lot of room for tension which is great for any story. Jaylen learns about human stuff (becoming a cheese-lover of course), Leah learns to let loose a bit and perhaps move out of strict parents' control a bit more, Clint gets to deal with his emotions and maybe get help with school, and Erika... is the stable friend who I can't actually come up with anything for.
Clint feels like he's secretly soft, he's just frustrated with school (and rightly so). I bet he'd give good hugs. They are all so fun to look at. Especially Jay cause well. He looks like he works at McDonald's lmao
I have not laughed as hard at anything than I did during Jaylen's creation. Poor cyborg boy is just trying to fit in and find someone who loves him and all his taxidermy and cheese 🤣
A typical olive complexion in the UK could be someone who is mixed raced, or someone with a tan most of the year. I’d associate it to someone from Spain, from India maybe… definitely not someone British or ginger haired… I’m French and I was told I have olive skin and it threw me, as I thought it meant I looked green! 😂

I’ve been watching you for as long as i can remember and i cannot tell you how much you’ve inspired me when creating my art, from art styles, motivation and just general entertainment whist drawing. Looking at the characters made me want to make them the main protagonist group of a show. I wouldn't mind hearing y'alls head cannons on how they'll act as a friend group too! - Jaylen would be a main character, or MC learning and growing from being a robot to his own person. - Erika would be the main friend, or MC who found Jaylen, but either way she'll be the main person helping Jaylen grow and she'll give him a house to stay in. I feel like, at first at least, she'll be taking care of Jaylen like she would a pet or animal too. - Leah is definitely the intelligent friend that everyone learns to depend on and asks her for help when they don't know something. I'm kinda getting mom friend vibes from her. - Clint will be the grumpy rebel of the group, perhaps even the one edging his friends to try new adventures. But he'll definitely be the overprotective one. Tbh, I imagine Erika as the main MC, the title probably something like, 'The adventures of Erika and Jaylen", and the genres would be comedy and sci-fi, then a toss up between slice of life or action.

Clint: "oh.. this is actually pretty good." Jaylen: "Additionally, I understand humans often keep animal companions! While I am not proficient in caring for lifeforms yet, and would not wish to harm my animal companion, I felt that the hobby 'taxidermy' would allow me to better understand these creatures without risking harm to those still alive!" Erika: * clutches her cat closer protectively *

A good way to do random generated things for art is the arty games app, but it’s like what 5 dollars or something? I think it’s alright for randomly generating character ideas, and even color pallets too i think, i do think it def would be a similar experience to just using some of the sights you used in this video
Jaylen reminds me of hunter from toh in a way, like he started out portrayed as a villain type, then realised his mistakes and what he has been going through (abused by his creators and used for destruction, like how hunter was used by belos for destruction and chaos) and he met new people, and made friends, and he felt real emotions and it made him into a better person
Cool idea for the first one would be a zombie bell boy who works graveyard shift for a motel and proudly hangs his taxidermy projects on the lobby walls. Grey skin, yellow curls, and red stripy hotel uniform? Idk lol

I often struggle with coming up with designs for characters, mostly I have an idea of how I want their faces and hair look like, but then there is everything else that makes them stand out from other characters... This is such a great idea! I often struggle with coming up with designs for characters, mostly I have an idea of how I want their faces and hair look like, but then there is everything else that makes them stand out from other characters... I will definitely try this the next time i sit and draw. 💖💖
