      Good sh!+ and b carful with the parts that u need 2 b careful with. The way I edit my video was so that it isn’t boring and I don’t waste anyone’s time because I’ve wanted other vids and they b like 20-40 minutes and that frustrated me because they don’t edit a lot of the unnecessary video but I get it everyone has there own way of doing things but for me, imma do my best with what I have as I grow and put quality content. Like a mix of Str8 to the point, comedy, hood comedy, every other comedy, if u know what I mean😉. Keep it so entertaining that it makes u want to rewatch it again and again. Also to inform u guys about other things for the people that like the details in things kinda like how Chrisfix does it.

    Bro first of all, good video. Thank you for CLEAR DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS. My problem is that I didn’t even need to do this repair, my Playstation was running fine, I wanted to be preventative. So I follow every instruction, did the whole project, and it works again, but NOW I have a problem where the game looks way too bright, and now the Console on top is getting way too hot! 🥵 So I think I did too much thermal paste or something, because the rest of the repair was perfect, and I can’t hear my fan at all.. smh If it ain’t broke don’t fix it! I f’d up! Can I open it up and fix it, or is the brightness problem a sign that my chip is cooked? 🤔

    • @FOURsCRUZ
      @FOURsCRUZ  2 года назад +2

      Ok first of all thanks for the feed back. Second, if u did everything correct making sure that your not missing any black paste on the rams, plugged cables and etc.
      what u first should do is use the ps4 app and use remote play and by doing that u can check if the PlayStation is still putting out a bright screen.
      If that’s fine, it’s the tv or maybe the hdmi in/out.
      So trying other inputs of the tv, if it only has one then, try a different tv.
      And the last thing would be to check if everything is in its place 🤷‍♂️ so get back to me and re-read everything ☝️

Wish me luck 🤞🏼 if it is the model, then ima upgrade the parts.

      Make sure everything that secures the thermal paste is good like the middle bracket, metal pressure bracket, the screws are flattened out meaning the screws can’t go any further because it stops like if you hit a wall. That’s pretty much the critical part that’s responsible for the jet engine.

    got a question, I just got all my things together new thermal paste and stuff, but ngl I lost like 2 thermal pads lol you think it’ll still run alright if so? and about the 2 screws you talked about to keep the same torx as the manufacturer, will that be a problem if its just screwed 13 times on both sides, because I forgot to mark them.?

    • @FOURsCRUZ
      @FOURsCRUZ  Год назад +2

      Thermal pads I’m pretty sure you’re going to need them because they were there in the first place. Secondly, for the two black screws that keep the thermal paste held together, just keep screwing until it flattens out. Remember it won’t get tighter. It’ll just literally stop you from screwing any further and don’t try to force the two screws to go any further.

    I never dared trying this, but as soon as I get a hold of the ps5 I will see if this works for the ps4. It still works but its blowing air like crazy in almost every game. I did try opening it up and removing some dust but I guess it is due to thermal paste gone bad. It will often result in high fan speeds am I right? The ps5 will mostly make my ps4 obsolete so I could take the loss. But if it works it will be a nice console to have as a spare :)

      Put it this way: if the fan goes crazy then the thermal paste needs replacing.
      If the fan doesn’t go crazy then probably it’s a technical thing.
      The other thing that might help but may not be the solution is check if the ps4 is up to date and see how much memory you have left. Hope this helps.

The help would be appreciated.

    • @FOURsCRUZ
      @FOURsCRUZ  Год назад

      First things first make sure your power button is clicking.
      Make sure all cables and especially the blue ribbon cables, and the power supply cord is plugged in.
      Finally make sure when you put the two metal shields that puts pressure on the thermal paste, that the 2 black screws are screwed in where it stops a.k.a. flattens out.
      Get back to me and try to do some research as well.

    • @FOURsCRUZ
      @FOURsCRUZ  Год назад +1

      Idk about the noises but if it’s just the fan blowing air you should b fine. The heat should mainly b where the GPU/CPU is. (Look at my thumbnail for reference) From there the heat should drop a couple of degrees all around. All in all the ps4 b warm all throughout the console.
      If it was cold then u would need to take a car to outer space 🪐, visit the hospital 🏥, to take out a loan for a puppy 🐶, figure out y u even took the time to get a grasp of trying to make sense of any of this in a one cell brain 🧠, then get an oil change.
