LG is a popular brand for not only cell phones but home appliances, TVs, air conditioning, et cetera. I do believe that they no longer make manual window units sadly. Both LG units share the newer logo so they are both fairly new, at least newer than 2016 I think is when they updated their logo. R32 is the "energy efficient" refrigerant that everything uses today, while R410A is being phased out as we speak. Regardless, LG is notorious for not being good in the long-term, but they are surprisingly good when they work.
I don't have much experience with LG air conditioners other than getting to know these. However, I've had a LG 55+ TV last over 10 years. When it was time to replace I went out and got another one. It was 10" bigger and half the price I bought 10 years before it (2009). Crazy how the technology got better and less expensive for TVs.
