You have to get it running. It would make Mel’s year. Plus give you a chance to meet some of the older neoghborhood guys. Seems like a lot of potential content and always great to have car guys close by.

If it's the car that's responsible for getting you into cars, and therefor giving all of us endless hours of quality entertainment, then it deserves that and so much more! :)
I have a 97 trans am in black and I love driving it so much that it’s my ultimate comfort zone. I don’t see many around but the few I do, it’s obvious that the owner’s love them
My dad had a 98-02 Firebird formula for a very long time, and as a kid I loved it so much, but he sold it in 2014 maybe to get a Chevy SS, and I was so mad at him. So seeing this made me realize, my absolute top of the line dream car is a late 4th gen Firebird, but I’ll have to settle for the Trailblazer SS we have for now, but it fits all my needs, and I love that thing and want to keep it forever, but being an old GM, it’s hell to keep alive and work on
So funny story, same basic thing happened with me, except for with me, I fell in love with a 91 Thunderbird Sport 5.0 H.O. That was customized from the start. I was ten when it was brand new. Saw it all the way until my early 20’s then moved away, 2011 I ended up owning it and upgraded some things more and drove it for 6 years. Had a lot of fun but sadly sold it and it was wrapped around a pole. One of less than 300 made in 91 😢

That guy is the example of love in cars doesn’t matter of age ✨
That was so satisfying. Of course once you started you can't just stop
As a fellow Fbody guy, I must say YES MORE FBODY CONTENT OF ANY TYPE! :)
Same as my 96 lt1
I put long tube headers
2 step
Swapped hood
Lowered 2 inches
Abs rims
Straight pipes with a dump valve
I like to see you get it running
Yes let's get the Blazer cleaned too, wanna see both up and running
Very cool! Can’t wait to see it running! My dad has a red 93 Trans AM with 53k original miles and 6 speed manual transmission. He bought it brand new in 93. Has been sitting in the garage and hasn’t been started for about 5 years now. It’s in near perfect condition inside and out. Trying to talk him into getting it going again. It’s all factory stock except for larger after market wheels.
My neighbour had almost the the exact car in his garage as his pride and joy, I always loved the wicked rake on the windshield🤤
Oh,HELL yes!!. Who else but someone who fell in love with the series but you??!!!
16:55 Brings me back. When NASCAR had the trans Am series. #8 was ernhart jr,
I love happy people and Mel fits the bill. He's awesome
Definitely have to have a video of the startup on the TA. And watching you clean this car was satisfying, would be nice to see the clean up of the Trailblazer in the future.
You need more videos like this one it was lots of fun to watch 😊!
