Syndicate had to be breath of fresh air. The past AC games have been shit but Syndicate was enjoyable to play. I loved the humor from Jacob and the maturity of Evie. The only thing I didn't like is the present day story. It was pointless in my opinion
@@ohhellyeah2878 THANK YOU seriously I thought this guy was kidding at first but I was wrong Holy shit I'm ashamed to be a fan of this series if that's what some people say
Ok, so I really, really liked this game (enough to go for the platinum trophy, which doesn't happen often. London is beautiful and you can either play a murderous Mary Poppins or Jacob who I personally found hilarious), but there are three things that pissed me off: 1. The stupid forced romance between Evie and Henry, including that random engagement scene you get when you collect all pressed flowers. Unity did the Arno/Elise relationship really nicely imo, they had chemistry and you could see an actual connection. Here? Nothing. 2. They kept going on and on and on about the dead father and in the end he wasn't even a son of a well known character from previous games? Pointless much? And 3. Of course that ridiculous final boss fight. Seriously.
The father one is wrong. He raised them differently, so they were divided by him and his way of teaching them. He's pivotal in their development. And one extra for the Henry-Evie romance: she is 20-21, while that fucker is around 40, at least, is ugly af and has 0 skill. I mean, Evie and Jacob fucked the templars and many more in such a short time, in their early 20s, while he didn't do shit in the time he was responsible for London
Rage Monster dude where the hell did you get that information from?? Henry is not 40! He was born in 1843, meaning he was just 4 years older than Evie and Jacob who were born in 1847! Also, if you read the Underworld book which follows Henry's backstory you would know that he was actually a pretty badass fighter, only he disliked killing people because he lacked the killer instinct that most assassins have. He still believed in the creed, though, so instead of being proactive and fighting personally he was an information gatherer undercover as a curio-shop owner. As for him being useless against Starrick, I guess he was just out of practice? It had been 5 years at this point between the time he went undercover in his shop and the time he met the Frye twins, and even before then he was undercover as a metropolitan underground railroad worker and only faught when he had to, so he didn't have many opportunities to beat people up since then because he needed to keep a low profile. Not all assassins are warriors, but all assassins believe in the creed. They would kill if they had to, but some prefer to work behind the scenes. Some take pleasure in killing and some don't. As the wise Ethan once said: "Somebody has to be those things. Jayadeep (aka Henry) could be those things."
Crazy idea: next AC game, we'll be playing as father and daughter or mother and son. That way, we can avoid the dead-parents cliché simply because one is definitely alive and playable. And we'll also be able to keep the 50-50 ratio of attention to a male and female protagonist.
+Colin Velius All this does is put a ticking deathclock on the surviving parent, really. Hack writers love their plot twists, especially when we're all basically expecting them by this point.
The tutorial level should be you playing as the mother/father showing your kids how to be assassins or the other way round with your parent showing you and you having to copy and learn
You know, about the japan thing, I got an interesting idea. How about make a game that set in Japan, but we play as a TEMPLAR? More specifically, Sengoku Jidai period. The rise to power of Oda, Hideyoshi and Nobunaga just scream Templar like. We know that in the end, Japan ended the long years of warring state by the strict rule and order, that too sound like a Templar thing.
+Scare crows That would be awesome! Plus Japan had guns at the time so Ubisoft can keep their gun gameplay! I feel like they're trying to keep pushing to later periods of history though, so maybe they could do a game around the modernization of Japan? Still a cool time period.
+ds22342 Wasn't the map behind Bishop refer to modern day situation? Even so, playing as Templar in the period when they were the underdog would be equally interesting.
+Seth Cox I always thought that Assassin using gun was really contradictory in term of gameplay. Unlike hidden-gun, these firearm aren't suit for steal at all(breaking rule no.2 of the creed) so why not let the Assassin just stick to throwing-knife, bow(wilderness or frontier location), or phantom-blade as a projectile weapon(Edward is fine, he's a pirate). The Templars were more suit to use gun since they usually disguise or already have a position that allowed them to kill people in public(officer, soldier or any kind of law-enforcer)
0:59 Judging by the map with all the Abstergo logos, it looks as though there may be a future installment set in Berlin. Three guesses as to when they set it, even if it would be better setting-wise to place it pre-WW1 with the kaiser in charge. Can't wait.
"I instantly don't like this character" This character is Shaun Hastings. He's just been in every single AC game since 2 (except Rogue and Liberation), and always had this sarcastic personality along with making commentaries like this one every-single-time, especially concerning english things and language errors - but it seems like you don't remember him. That's not really a good point when you attempt to criticize a game from the franchise. Evie and Jacob's father is actually mentionned during one of Evie's missions. His name is Ethan, and he also was in the list Rebecca and Shaun hacked at the beginning of the game. Their mother is mentionned as well, her name is Cecily. Not all main AC characters had dead fathers. Edward and Shay didn't even mention them, and Connor killed Haytham only at the end. I like your videos, really, but sometimes you just make useless sins and it's annoying af.
19:32 Actually, if you re-watched the dance scene, you'll notice that Starrick stealthily removed Evie's necklace before he got kicked in the balls. Right when he says, "This dance is nearly over," you can notice that he quickly grabs the necklace from behind her neck.
9:58 actually I agree with Jacob, everyone was talking about how big a deal a piece of eden is but no one explains exactly what they do. That bugged the hell out of me.
One thing that really bugged me, was the fact that Jack the Ripper was capable of eagle vision, but wasn't able to locate Evie in the final fight. But Evie was able to spot him with her eagle vision just fine. That just didn't make sense to me...
Sorry for the late addition, but the biggest sin I have with the game is that Jacob befriends 2 people who turn out to be templars and he didn't notice until he basically had to kill them in self defence. He really is that dence and that is a trope I'm very over
12:50 Missed one. Just a minute or so after this, there's the "bad guy laments how uncivilized everyone is despite being the most uncivilized of all" cliche, with the body of a dead messenger cooling on his floor.
Another sin: This game takes place in 1868. Reginald Birch was born in 1856, meaning he would be only twelve. And they mention Reginald Birch as if he was a cruel man, so that makes no sense. This is coming from a fan of assassin's creed. Also, one less sin as well: Gangs DID allow women to join and wear pants in their gang.
I'm sure that Reginald birch wasn't born in 1865. In the beginning of AC3 when you are Haythem you actually kill him and since AC3 takes place in the 18th century he couldn't have been born then.
+Blake Morrow you don't kill him in ac3. He's the one haytham talks to when he enters the opera and he's the one who sends haytham to the colonies at the beginning.
+niko robinson No he does get killed in the beginning at the theater because Birch was the one who killed Haytham's father Edward and raised him to be a Templar so when he found out he killed him and went to the Americas. It explained it all in the game database which has gotta be true.
+Blake Morrow no it's not. The one haytham kills at the theatre is miko (an assassin). Birch then sends haytham to the colonies. Haytham returns a few years later with his sister Jennifer after they find out the truth and confront birch and Jennifer was the one who killed him.
13:30 For reference, a crown was worth 5 shillings pre-decimalization, so a half-crown was worth 2 shillings and 6 pence. Merging the half-crowns together, we have a total of 5 crowns. There are 4 crowns in a pound, so he has a pound and a crown, or a pound and 5 shillings. That's 300 pence. Conversion table: 1 pound | 4 crowns | 8 half-crowns | 20 shillings | 240 pence 1 crown | 2 half-crowns | 5 shillings | 60 pence 1 half-crown | 2.5 shillings | 30 pence 1 shilling | 12 pence Fun fact: The modern crown is still 1/4th of a pound, but is now worth 25 pence, due to the introduction of decimalization. The shilling also made it through the decimalization process intact as 1/20th of a pound, and is now worth 5 pence. Nowadays, though, people just describe the coins by their value in pence or pounds. Ye Olde Coine Names and Their Moderne Equivalents: Double Crown - 50p "half-pound" Crown - 25p Double Florin - 20p Florin - 10p Shilling - 5p Penny - 1p *Warning: I don't pretend to be a numismatic expert. I'm just relaying what information I could gather from Wikipedia.*
They're still using an Ezio's theme remixed? WHY? I can understand Unity getting it since Arno's father died just like Ezio's but why did Syndicate deserve it? It's overused as well.
+The Burning Owl They know that Ezio is the most popular of the protagonists,so instead of writing a new and just as cool a protagonist they just keep making Ezio light over and over again.
Their father wasn't killed. He dyed and left them with no experience, not knowing what to do with their lives. Evie is the smart type, and she always seeks for a way to avoid contact, like her father, while Jacob is the brawler-type. His stupidity and her tendency to avoid conflicts is what created a conflict between them and both attributes originate from their relationship with their father. So no, it's not "Ezio's theme". It just shows that their father has not treated them equally and this divided them
+Jamie Forsythe You mean Assassin's Creed Liberation wasn't.... oh, wait. I mixed up the Louisiana swamps with the Irish bogs. Never mind, carry on then. In seriousness: I'd love to see an Irish Assassins Creed game, but I have a hard time seeing how it would implement anything particularly original from a gameplay perspective, though I suppose Oliver Cromwell's conquest of Ireland could be a good place to start story wise...
I'm surprised they didn't talk about Evie's cloaking device, it's the worst thing about the game! I can't even crouch to get a good screenshot because I'll become invisible! Also, their father does have a name and is a relatively interesting character, I think the most you learn about him is from the books, which just fill the gaps that the games leave...
18:24 I'll have to check my sources, but I'm pretty sure Evie's dress was considered too revealing back in that time period. Especially in the presence of the Queen.
+louie97ation we all have to admit it, there will be no assassin's creed set in japan so I for 1 will remember this comment but if they do at least announce it i'll eat my words
+chris succee Your pitch is just perfect there's no doubt that will be good but the thing that worries me is what if ubisoft intetionally won't make one set in japan
Isn't the reason for having takern over districts, because the leader of the opposing gang was supposed to take notice of you? Jacob even mentions this: "I am taking down your men."
20:06 not if you challenged him at lvl 10... literally owned his ass withing 2 seconds each time... just charged in there and assaulted him, his hp dropped to 50% within the initial blows... ment i couldnt hear his entire speech...
CHRISPLAYER 95 Well it's certainly filled with a crap ton of filler missions. Some people take at least 50 hours to beat it and I've seen people pour over 200. Getting it done for a sins video will take a while.
Ubisoft said they would never make an AC game in Japan because they said it would be very boring.....I don't see their logic. So I'm guessing based off that and how much Jacob and Evie go on about their dad that you'll probably be playing as HIM in the next game. Like what happened with AC3 to AC4. From grandson to grandad. I do hope that we're not going to have a Frye trilogy. Plus: Lucy was actually the second Templar in history who gave an Assassin the 'two's up' in their death speech. Vieri being the first. You really would have thought the Templars would have more sense
Is anyone else just a little bit upset by how negative these guys are? Half the things they are complaining about are either not as bad as they make them out to be, or essential to the way that the story plays out. I just don't think its fair to mock a piece of art when you are incapable of making anything remotely as good!
The twins' father actually does have a name and they mention it at some point (either when you ride with Henry to the Kenway house or with Duleep Singh when you play taxi to the politicians). His name is Ethan Frye.
I don't get how a guy so nitpicky as this guy, along with the rest of people who says the same shit over and over again, can't do they fucking research... THE FIRST AC GAME CAME OUT BEFORE THE FIRST BATMAN ARKHAM!, SO EAGLE VISION IS NOT A COPY OF THE DETECTIVE MODE BUT THE OTHER WAY AROUND... Jesus
Is no one else bothered by the incest implications of this game? We can see how the genetic memory thing works in the past games (it has to physically pass through the person). That means, for us to be able to switch between Jacob and Evie, they are both direct ancestors of the same individual (think about it: no amount of closeness in genetics allows one person to see a first person view of their sibling's memories). Even if the incest wasn't between Jacob and Evie, but was their children or grandchildren, the relation would still be pretty close because this story is only a little over 150 years ago. I haven't (and probably won't) played the game myself, so if someone has some dialogue directly from the game that contradicts this, I'll gladly accept it (I've actually been searching through all kinds of videos about the game to find something myself). This is the kind of weird crap that comes about from people complaining about something as stupid as not being able to customize Unity's Arno into a woman...
I'm not sure what you mean in the last part of your comment. But, the 1860's weren't that long ago. Much more is seen as acceptable in today's society that wouldn't have been back then (and incest was undoubtedly not accepted in either). The big question is why would the [fictional] heroes of the story have this going on when Ubisoft already delved into the insanity caused by incest with the [historically accurate] Borgia back in AC Brotherhood? This seems more like an unintentional side effect of trying too hard to be PC.
+SgtSupaman there are not incest implications at all. In fact, theres a little love story going on between Evie and Henry Green the master assassin operating in London. This is another "its a game". Try not over thinking it
Cody Mcallister Actually, unless you can find something from the game that directly contradicts it, there really are those implications. Just because she has a love story going on with someone else doesn't stop her from having another relationship. Ezio had multiple relationships, so why couldn't Evie? The "it's a game" excuse only works if the company hasn't been spending years setting up a specific lore around a device that is integral to the entire series. It either implicates incest or is just a big plot hole (whichever one being brought on by an overextended attempt at political correctness).
Identical twins have more or less the exact same DNA as they're the result of a single fertilized egg splitting in two. Also, even if they weren't identical it would theoretically make sense for both to be playable as you could play as Haytham, Edward, and Connor all from Desmond. This means you'd have access to both their father and mother as well as them since you have access to the parent(s).
Ahh, I've never even played this franchise, but this is hilarious. "What would father say if he was here?" "To get over it and stop talking about it?" Perfect. I vote for Tomb Raider!
I don't know what version you got that was that buggy but I got mine on release day and it worked perfectly. Also if you'd been paying any attention to the modern story you'd know that the Assassins getting their sorry asses beat has been a major plot point since the first game.
Blind Kumiho the game can played no matter who ever is place. Just a game. Nothing in the end of it all matters if they are any gender, inclusion just feels nice because in many ways people can put themselves in their position.
SyiN well don’t make a historical game and not be historically accurate That being said that doesn’t mean their weren’t women who broke the status quo. That being said their was a status quo and if you wanna respect a certain real timeline you also respect the status quo. They are diluting actual history textbooks already.. so hopefully they don’t do it with “historically accurate” games (I say this because at least the first game and the Ezio trilogy were somewhat more accurate or respectful of their status quo. Which are the reasons they are the best games in the series story/environment wise
You really pay attention to details and give good background to it, I noticed that in your 'Only If' let's play where you started talking about this African horn. I respect you, man.
yeah but were these women dressed as men and then employed as thugs? joan de arc led men into battle does tat now mean that 50% of all military leaders were women? or how about that obvious transgender character, yes there are confirmed accounts of women pretending to be men, but they did it in a way that you wouldn't immediately realize the truth. syndicates pc agenda realy brought down the entire game and especially the character arcs of the protagonists
I think they should focus less on "assassin vs templar" and focus more in the creation of a different gameplay for each game\time. Black Flag is the perfect example: it has the good old AC gameplay but the focus is more on be a pirate (you fight the templar in...5 mission i think). I think every AC should be like that. ps. I want uncharted 3 just so i can see you sin every single time you have to fight against a big guy with your bare hands. I think it's 7 and it's always the same.
okay rewatching this, Dartigans complaints throughout his videos about dead parents are more annoying than how often that trope is used. he either never had a parent die, therefore he wouldn't know how much it impacts a person, or he did experience it and just doesn't care.
In video games, it's usually the player character who gets absurdly powerful in cutscenes, becoming ridiculously more competent and performing feats that are literally impossible to do in normal gameplay, the Devil May Cry series being one of the primary examples. In most Assassin's Creed games, you go from effortlessly beating a boss to a bloody pulp in the actual gameplay to getting your ass kicked and barely hanging on by a thread in the cutscene. It's very jarring.
There is no way that Victorian Era London would have been as kind to the LGBT as this game was. They were just caving in to the demands of the crazy liberals, and it ruined Syndicate for me.
Brian Sanders lol THAT ruined the game for you? It's a game about aliens, Templars and fake history about assassin's. If you're worried about realism liberals don't take the blame. Be original stop blaming everything on the more tolerant people. It's liberals that make sure your nerdy ass don't get his ass beat at school for. Playing yu gi Oh haha
Mr Danner! Liberals? TOLERANT?! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! That's a load of crap. What's the very first thing you libtards did when Trump won the election? You people have all your arguments by shouting "RACIST, HOMOPHOBE, ISLAMAPHOBIC!!!" when you have no real point.
Brian Sanders You'd be suprised. Victorian England was a lot more wild than we've been led to believe. Especially in less affulent areas. So the idea of a gay or a trans person isn't that surprising.
Brian Sanders so all. Liberals are. Like that? Something tells me You're not the brightest. I wouldn't put it past you to just be a mindless teenager. You need to step out of RUclips comment sections and go live. You'll see just how small of a percentage You're little view makes up. With a view that incorrect you'd have to be dim or a child. Also that many caps. Someone has unresolved issues. I'm guessing don't many people respect your opinion outside of your little profiles online. Typical "pc is ruining America" commenter
supervegito2277 You didn't notice they make you pay for Helix Credits? You need 1000 to buy a map for the Helix Glitches and another 1000 to buy the map for the secrets of London. Luckily, I got 1000 by just playing the game and collecting 50 Glitches
Only if the game is free to begin with imo but yeah i follow. BUt i wasnt actually kidding... the whole helix system confused me left and right in unity so i just left it well enough alone.
Literally the only real problems with this game is the women wearing trousers thing, making Evie a subject of Tuchman's theory, and having Ned be voiced by a woman instead of an actual pre-t trans man
I count 114. When Jacob is fighting Starrick at the end, ad Evie runs in to save him. It looked like Unity, when Arno was running to save Elise, before they exploded, she died, and Arno killed the Templar.

There actually was an English street gang lead by and mostly consisting of women. They colaborated with an all MALE street game for some stuff they couldn't lift in terms of their crimes. But you're right on about the pants thing so.
*Maxwell Roth is a discount joker.
Syndicate had to be breath of fresh air. The past AC games have been shit but Syndicate was enjoyable to play. I loved the humor from Jacob and the maturity of Evie. The only thing I didn't like is the present day story. It was pointless in my opinion
Thank you! I agree, but you gotta say that that fight scene in present day was pretty cool tho.
The assassin’s creed games I like are only unity and syndicate
So not every assassin’s creed game is garbage
@@_D0rado You ONLY like Syndicate and Unity, the two worst games in the series? 🤣Good taste isnt for everyone, it seems.
Seriously.
I know I fucking hated that shitty relationship
+Sam Egan I routed for Aleck and Evie, even though Ubisoft wouldn't go that far i just routed for them.
+Conman War just remarks and never showed what the connection was between them . It is shoddy storytelling. like a Taylor Swift song.
+Colin Velius Plot Twist: Children are dead
+Colin Velius One of them is going to die near the end, trust me. But it's still a cool idea nonetheless.
***** Parents always dies as a way to motivate the protagonist, but it would sure as hell be nice if they didn't.
That'd be nice but idk if ubisoft would use that idea well but instead just make another AC with only difference being that this one is with Asians
+Scare crows That would be awesome! Plus Japan had guns at the time so Ubisoft can keep their gun gameplay!
I feel like they're trying to keep pushing to later periods of history though, so maybe they could do a game around the modernization of Japan? Still a cool time period.
+Scare crows But the assassins have control of Japan
Can't wait.
Doctors were unethical back then, so him killing a cadaver may be sinful, in the context of this kind of sin video it doesn't deserve a sin.
the one main reason i would like a japan assasin's creed is because it will be the closest thing to a tenchu game
of course i understand that, but FromSoftware is doing nothing but dark souls games. I don't too many people know about tenchu also ;/
+MrSoniK I take it you already know of this game, but have you tried Shinobido for the Ps2 ( and in a lesser extent the Vita )?
i still haven't play them... i need to get my hand of it. I truly did love the PS1 tenchu games. and i still got my hand on tenchu z on 360
I know the feeling man, the Tenchu series was one of my favorites. Tenchu 2 and 3 were fantastic games
***** Wasn't that Maria Thorpe, from England though?
I like your videos, really, but sometimes you just make useless sins and it's annoying af.
half of these sins are not even real sins
Bayeks is mentioned but seening the life expectency if egypt he may of died of old age
Shaun Hasting is the worst character of the whole series
I agree, he really should stop doing this.
People, it's just his opinion.
19:32 Actually, if you re-watched the dance scene, you'll notice that Starrick stealthily removed Evie's necklace before he got kicked in the balls. Right when he says, "This dance is nearly over," you can notice that he quickly grabs the necklace from behind her neck.
This game isn't awful, it's just more of the same old from Assassin's Creed. Thank God they're taking a year off.
Also, I said the exact same thing for sin 35 lol.
Although they are doing the film.
And the movie is going to be completely new characters and not being based on existing characters, so why not just make a new game?
Katie Tucker Because they want it to be a different experience, maybe? I dunno, I'm still going to go watch it.
make a movie about Ezio
9:58 actually I agree with Jacob, everyone was talking about how big a deal a piece of eden is but no one explains exactly what they do. That bugged the hell out of me.
12:42 not only that, you hear the gunshot, the guy says “mr. starrick-“ and THEN dies
One thing that really bugged me, was the fact that Jack the Ripper was capable of eagle vision, but wasn't able to locate Evie in the final fight. But Evie was able to spot him with her eagle vision just fine. That just didn't make sense to me...
They aren't smiling when Green says he recognizes their devilish smiles.
Sorry for the late addition, but the biggest sin I have with the game is that Jacob befriends 2 people who turn out to be templars and he didn't notice until he basically had to kill them in self defence. He really is that dence and that is a trope I'm very over
I would like to mention that synchronization points in AC is iconic since the first game even if you wont do the things they're still iconic
Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but:
Is the main protagonists father dead? Maybe I missed something...
12:50 Missed one. Just a minute or so after this, there's the "bad guy laments how uncivilized everyone is despite being the most uncivilized of all" cliche, with the body of a dead messenger cooling on his floor.
Connor only brought up his mother like twice, and then he personally killed his father
thats kind of the ultimate father issue
Another sin: This game takes place in 1868. Reginald Birch was born in 1856, meaning he would be only twelve. And they mention Reginald Birch as if he was a cruel man, so that makes no sense. This is coming from a fan of assassin's creed.
Also, one less sin as well: Gangs DID allow women to join and wear pants in their gang.
I'm sure that Reginald birch wasn't born in 1865. In the beginning of AC3 when you are Haythem you actually kill him and since AC3 takes place in the 18th century he couldn't have been born then.
Blake Morrow I see. I was looking at an artist, not the actual reginald birch. My bad.
4:18 this is so relatable when you are about to do a test
18:10 But he has a name, Duleep literally said in that exact same mission.
I totally felt that Ubi claiming a AC game set in Japan with ninjas is cliche was absolute garbage.
111 did he just question how a ASSASSIN snuck behind someone while they were fighting two incredibly good assasins. bruh.
13:30
For reference, a crown was worth 5 shillings pre-decimalization, so a half-crown was worth 2 shillings and 6 pence. Merging the half-crowns together, we have a total of 5 crowns. There are 4 crowns in a pound, so he has a pound and a crown, or a pound and 5 shillings. That's 300 pence.
Conversion table:
1 pound | 4 crowns | 8 half-crowns | 20 shillings | 240 pence
1 crown | 2 half-crowns | 5 shillings | 60 pence
1 half-crown | 2.5 shillings | 30 pence
1 shilling | 12 pence
Fun fact: The modern crown is still 1/4th of a pound, but is now worth 25 pence, due to the introduction of decimalization. The shilling also made it through the decimalization process intact as 1/20th of a pound, and is now worth 5 pence. Nowadays, though, people just describe the coins by their value in pence or pounds.
Ye Olde Coine Names and Their Moderne Equivalents:
Double Crown - 50p "half-pound"
Crown - 25p
Double Florin - 20p
Florin - 10p
Shilling - 5p
Penny - 1p

They're still using an Ezio's theme remixed? WHY?
I can understand Unity getting it since Arno's father died just like Ezio's but why did Syndicate deserve it?
It's overused as well.
+The Burning Owl They know that Ezio is the most popular of the protagonists,so instead of writing a new and just as cool a protagonist they just keep making Ezio light over and over again.
They tried a different character with Connor and people shit on them for it. It's safer for them to go the Ezio route.
It just shows that their father has not treated them equally and this divided them
Why does Evie looks like Katniss from the Hunger Games O_O or is it just me?
No I thought the exact same thing
Evie has way more freckles.
HaloSalo it’s just you
Just make an Assassin's Creed set in Ireland already.
+Jamie Forsythe Assassin Leprechauns?
+Jamie Forsythe "Oh, ya bloody nabba! I'll cut yer giblets off!"
***** thats Wales, not Ireland
+Jamie Forsythe You mean Assassin's Creed Liberation wasn't.... oh, wait. I mixed up the Louisiana swamps with the Irish bogs. Never mind, carry on then.
In seriousness: I'd love to see an Irish Assassins Creed game, but I have a hard time seeing how it would implement anything particularly original from a gameplay perspective, though I suppose Oliver Cromwell's conquest of Ireland could be a good place to start story wise...
+Jamie Forsythe YES PLEASE
That sound delay of the gunshot at the butler
15:50 went where? the accidenlty left a lady in a place with a bunch of tough men and she ends up talking to them about there problems
1:12 Eight years later, they finally did it!
Finally
In the wirst way possible
I'm surprised they didn't talk about Evie's cloaking device, it's the worst thing about the game! I can't even crouch to get a good screenshot because I'll become invisible!
Also, their father does have a name and is a relatively interesting character, I think the most you learn about him is from the books, which just fill the gaps that the games leave...
Please make everything wrong with Assassin's Creed: Rogue! There's so much material!
That game pissed me off so much. Such a great idea, wasted.
Probably less than Syndicate. Rogue is a good game with an actual good story
The whole game is a sin.
@@gengames8366 also. Shay was wanted dead so he had a reason to be quiet
@@stealthyarcher1382 really because ac sucks since orgins came out
After this video, i want more to play AC Syndicate
Did you?
18:24 I'll have to check my sources, but I'm pretty sure Evie's dress was considered too revealing back in that time period. Especially in the presence of the Queen.
"Normally I'd sin a game for sequel baiting..." sins game anyway
And Samurai weren't Assassins. they were warriors. Ninjas weren't Assassins either. They defended their homes.
Via assassinations, occasionally. They almost did that to oda nobunaga after all

+chris succee Your pitch is just perfect there's no doubt that will be good but the thing that worries me is what if ubisoft intetionally won't make one set in japan
You missed out the fact that, at the start of the game, there were so many f*cking trains!
You missed out on the whole WW1 thing!
Dammit, where is MGS V?
+Felix Pop I think he's still working on it since it takes so long to beat that game.
CHRISPLAYER 95 Well it's certainly filled with a crap ton of filler missions. Some people take at least 50 hours to beat it and I've seen people pour over 200. Getting it done for a sins video will take a while.
CHRISPLAYER 95 Well be prepared for cookie cutter missions repeated as naseum. Really the game does drag on, especially in Chapter 2.
You are without a shadow of a doubt %100 better than GCN

It’s Shaun
Nobody likes Shaun
I like Sean.
Fancy Pants i like shaun :(
Ubisoft said they would never make an AC game in Japan because they said it would be very boring.....I don't see their logic.
The second sin was invalidated by the Yasuke drama
Is anyone else just a little bit upset by how negative these guys are? Half the things they are complaining about are either not as bad as they make them out to be, or essential to the way that the story plays out. I just don't think its fair to mock a piece of art when you are incapable of making anything remotely as good!
Well you ain't going to make enemy's with someone who killed people infront of you xD
Good God you could almost make a damn drinking game with how many times the dad is mentioned
Gonna try that 🤔
13:09 Vieri didn't reveal information.
Sesseur hey for your knowledge Anita Sarkissian hates anime so social justice warriors have nothing to do with weabus
+SgtSupaman there are not incest implications at all. In fact, theres a little love story going on between Evie and Henry Green the master assassin operating in London. This is another "its a game". Try not over thinking it
Cody Mcallister
Actually, unless you can find something from the game that directly contradicts it, there really are those implications.
Someone I know is going to be pissed.
My brother. But I don't give crap about what he thinks sometimes
No because he loves assassins creed, but I think he'll get over it.
Right
I don't think I want to answer that
Oooookay this just got weird. I thought U were just trying to teach me a lesson
Ahh, I've never even played this franchise, but this is hilarious. "What would father say if he was here?" "To get over it and stop talking about it?" Perfect.
I vote for Tomb Raider!
cmon man upload a video!! This is my favourite channel, and it sucks that he doesn't upload very often..
I don't know what version you got that was that buggy but I got mine on release day and it worked perfectly. Also if you'd been paying any attention to the modern story you'd know that the Assassins getting their sorry asses beat has been a major plot point since the first game.
Am I dumb or is this cinima sins copy?
Yup, ripoff
Ben Stich one hundred percent rip-off
Ben Stich Read the description :)
Did they actually change things in the name of 'equality'? Gender equality is one thing, ridiculous pandering is another.
Blind Kumiho the game can played no matter who ever is place. Just a game. Nothing in the end of it all matters if they are any gender, inclusion just feels nice because in many ways people can put themselves in their position.
SyiN well don’t make a historical game and not be historically accurate
That being said that doesn’t mean their weren’t women who broke the status quo. That being said their was a status quo and if you wanna respect a certain real timeline you also respect the status quo.
They are diluting actual history textbooks already.. so hopefully they don’t do it with “historically accurate” games
(I say this because at least the first game and the Ezio trilogy were somewhat more accurate or respectful of their status quo. Which are the reasons they are the best games in the series story/environment wise
You really pay attention to details and give good background to it, I noticed that in your 'Only If' let's play where you started talking about this African horn. I respect you, man.
missing sin: on sin 75, the gun shot was before Starrick even raised his gun
They were women in gang streets, get your facts straight
drageben two words game theorist
yeah but were these women dressed as men and then employed as thugs?
joan de arc led men into battle does tat now mean that 50% of all military leaders were women?
or how about that obvious transgender character, yes there are confirmed accounts of women pretending to be men, but they did it in a way that you wouldn't immediately realize the truth. syndicates pc agenda realy brought down the entire game and especially the character arcs of the protagonists
Jacob says liberated, yet the map says conquered.
This bugged me.
No.
+Francesco A Black Flag was awesome as hell. After it the series went downhill.

How come Ubisoft doesn't make an Assassin's Creed game in South Africa, like in the apartheid
okay rewatching this, Dartigans complaints throughout his videos about dead parents are more annoying than how often that trope is used. he either never had a parent die, therefore he wouldn't know how much it impacts a person, or he did experience it and just doesn't care.
heropon12 l - Or, he's simply tired of it being constantly used in stories ( or Ubisoft games at least ) as it's typically a cliché
If people get tired of hearing him complain about it then maybe it should stop happening
Btw they're not sins just because you don't like the game
they did have a WHOLE FEMALE gang at the time.
Yes even one with an exceptionally ruthless leader about 3 decades after this game
They are at Least making the Japen AC…buuuuut well.
Gives a sin because Ubisoft logo appears🤣
Tyler Hill
That doesn't make Syndicate any less of a politically correct disaster.
Brian Sanders so all. Liberals are. Like that? Something tells me You're not the brightest. I wouldn't put it past you to just be a mindless teenager. I didnt even notice, i just unlocked things.
supervegito2277 You didn't notice they make you pay for Helix Credits? You need 1000 to buy a map for the Helix Glitches and another 1000 to buy the map for the secrets of London. Luckily, I got 1000 by just playing the game and collecting 50 Glitches
Yeah there was something like that in UNity too but in both cases it was sooooo confusing i just ignored it.
supervegito2277 I think microtransactions should be used only for apps. They're too much for a console game
Only if the game is free to begin with imo but yeah i follow.
BUt i wasnt actually kidding... the whole helix system confused me left and right in unity so i just left it well enough alone.

Wait what?
Literally the only real problems with this game is the women wearing trousers thing, making Evie a subject of Tuchman's theory, and having Ned be voiced by a woman instead of an actual pre-t trans man
CeramicBoy575 - So, all trans women sound perfectly like men?
+Bestgameplayer10 firstly, no. Secondly, what did that have to do with my comment?
CeramicBoy575 I guess I got baffled by what you were trying to say. Nvm now.
I count 114. When Jacob is fighting Starrick at the end, ad Evie runs in to save him. It looked like Unity, when Arno was running to save Elise, before they exploded, she died, and Arno killed the Templar.
I don't remember the final fight going like that but damn its funny as hell watching him bounce between the table and evie's fist
